Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of price on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions in the new normal era, to determine the effect of product quality price and promotion on purchasing decisions in the new normal era. The population in this study were Shopee users in the city of Medan. The data analysis tools used are descriptive statistics and SPSS statistics. The results showed that product quality price and promotion partially had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously it is also known that product quality, price and promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Along with the development of an increasingly modern business, marketers are required to have an effective strategy to create market share for consumers. Balyan Shop is an online store located in East Aceh and is engaged in retail, especially fashion. This study aims to determine the effect of promotion and lifestyle on impulse purchases through positive emotions as an intervening variable at the online store Balyan Shop. This research is a quantitative study with an associative approach, namely to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The population represented in this study represents all customers of the online store Balyan Shop, the exact number of whom is unknown.

Abstract

Organizations in this era are required to have advantages both in terms of service, cost, product quality and professional human resources. However, good infrastructure will be useless if human resources do not support it. This means that human resources remain an important factor for advancing the organization. In this case the organization requires quality human resources. Quality human resources are human resources who are able and willing to do things that go beyond the demands of organizational standards. Therefore, good employee behavior is important and should exist in employees because positive actions taken will produce quality and beneficial performance for the organization. Factors that can affect the high involvement of employees and good behavior can be triggered by several aspects such as individual characteristics and infrastructure. This study aims to analyze individual characteristics and infrastructure on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BP2RD) UPT Samsat Medan Utara. The objective of the research is to analyze of individual characteristics and infrastructure of employee performance through job satisfaction at the Regional Tax and Levy Management Agency (BP2RD) UPT Samsat Medan Utara. This type of research is causal with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees who worked at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BP2RD) UPT Samsat Medan Utara, totaling to 70 employees. Used primary and secondary data which are obtained through documentation study and question list. The data are analyzed with structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS version 3.0 analysis tool. The results demonstrated that individual characteristic had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, infrastructure positive and significant effect on employee performance, individual characteristic had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, infrastructure positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction had positive and significant effect on employee performance. Individual characteristic had an indirect positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction and infrastructure had a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Customer Satisfaction is the main goal of large or small companies today. In general, consumers want to enjoy a cafe that suits their needs and desires such as the suitability of music, cafe atmosphere, temperature, lighting, and others. On the other hand, the company must also be able to anticipate when the number of visitors is booming with the employees provided in order to adjust the needs and desires of consumers. The results of the pre survey found that the majority of respondents did not have good knowledge about Café Sinar Utama Mie Ayam & Kopi, as well as servicecape, the majority of respondents did not think it was something important. This study aims to analyze the effect of Servicecape and Brand Experience on Customer Satisfaction at Cafe Sinar Utama Mie Ayam & Kopi in Medan City. The population in this study were all consumers who visited or came to the Sinar Utama Mie Ayam & Kopi cafe in the city of Medan whose number was unknown. While the samples taken in this study were 96 respondents. Data collection by distributing questionnaires. This research is field research (field research) using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis which is processed in the SmartPls version 3.0 application. The results of the study indicate that Servicecape and Brand Experience have a positive and significant impact on Customer Satisfaction at Cafe Sinar Utama Mie Ayam & Kopi Medan. Based on the F-Square test, it shows that Servicecape has a moderate or moderate influence on Customer Satisfaction while Brand Experience has a substantial or strong influence on Customer Satisfaction. Therefore, the main light cafe, Mie Ayam & Kopi Medan, needs to evaluate the Servicecape so that it can affect Customer Satisfaction more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of brand trust and product quality on customer loyalty through customer engagement with Toyota car users in Medan City. The research was conducted on Toyota car users in Medan City. The population of all Toyota brand car users in Medan City. Samples were taken using the Slovin formula of 150 respondents. Data analysis was performed using path analysis in the SPSS program. The results of the sub-1 analysis prove that brand trust and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer engagement. The results of the sub-2 analysis prove that brand trust and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty through customer engagement.

Abstract

The rapid development of internet technology causing significant impact of innovative disruption in any aspect of life, especially on music industry. Disruptive innovation is a very new innovation made for competing the challengers in the music industry. The people consumption of music has been shifted because of the technology. From CD’s or cassettes into digital album. These digital albums are provided by the music streaming apps. The music streaming apps need to offer the most attractive innovation to attract user’s attention in aim the user’s buying the premium package. Known that the perceived ease of use, brand awareness, and free trial can be useful in attract buying interest of the users. The music streaming apps in this theses is Spotify. The goal of this theses is to analyze the impact of percieved ease of use, brand awareness and freemium business model on buying interest of spotify users in medan city. This theses is a associative causal, quantitative approach. The population of this theses are the users of spotify apps in medan city, and the samples are 100 respondents. The sampling methods is incidental sampling. Data analysis is multiple regression analysis to be analyzed in SPSS. The results is percieved ease of use has positive and significant impact on buying interest, brand awareness has positive and significant impact on buying interest, and freemium business model has positive and significant on buying interest. The percieved ease of use, brand awareness, and freemium business have simultaneously impact on buying interest.

The results of the study show that the development of ecotourism in Tangkahan is through ecotourism stakeholders who are involved in ecotourism development which in turn has an impact on ecotourism development. Pandemic- era tourism must be able to be developed properly so that health protocols are still carried out but can still attract visitors. Prepare plans that are in accordance with human needs for tourism but are still aligned with protocols for the health of visitors, managers and the community.

Abstract

Business activities in a company in the era of globalization are required to be more competitive and sustainable. This research aims to understand the influence of corporate social responsibility and green innovation on company financial performance. This research collects secondary data from companies registered as LQ-45 which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange while also participating in the public information disclosure program regarding environmental compliance (PROPER) during 2021-2022 based on the structural equation modeling (SEM) method. The results of the study state that the variables intellectual capital, corporate social responsibility and green innovation have a significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, corporate social responsibility has no effect on green innovation. The corporate governance moderating variable has a significant effect on corporate social responsibility on financial performance. These findings can help stakeholders to maintain the sustainability of business and achieve competitive business advantages in order to increase company profits.

Abstract

Electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) is a word-of-mouth promotion using internet-connected electronic devices. However, e-WOM among students has not been effective as it has not created any impacts on universities concerned. The purpose of this research is to evaluate e-WOM among students and direct the occurrence of positive e-WOM which will ultimately impact universities, especially private universities in Medan. This study used the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) method to test how well measured variables represent constructs or the preformed factors. This research is quantitative involving 210 students of the fourth semester above. The data collected were processed with AMOS Program. The confirmatory factor analysis tests showed as many as 21 indicators remained in the model. The goodness-of-fit value of all models for each variable is received after the modification process.
