Abstract

 One of the strategies used by Tropicana Slim to win the Top Brand Award for 4 (four) consecutive years is to enter the premium community through brand activation. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of brand image, experiential marketing, and product quality on customer loyalty of the Tropicana Slim brand in the premium community. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative. The population in this study are members of the premium community. The number of samples in the research was 95 people using a purposive sampling technique with the following criteria: they are premium community members who have experienced brand activation by Tropicana Slim Medan City and have purchased Tropicana Slim products at least 1 (one) time. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that simultaneously brand image, experiential marketing and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty of the Tropicana Slim brand in the premium community. Partially, brand image, experiential marketing and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty of the Tropicana Slim brand in the premium community.

Abstract

Resource Advantage idea in business competitiveness promotes the development of competitive advantages by enterprises through their better possession of resources. MSME need to retain and improve their competitive advantage through cost leadership strategy. To achieve the competitiveness, MSME have to pay attention to their resource advantage. In terms of cost leadership,  MSMEs must also assess the quality and superiority of their available resources. Resource superiority is a significant concern when it comes to competition based on low prices. This study aims to investigate the tactics employed by micro enterprises in addressing sudden increases in the costs of production inputs in order to preserve their competitive edge. The study utilised a sample of organisations who successfully maintained company continuity following instances of price surge since 2022. There were a total of 30 businesses that took part in this research. The chosen methodology is a qualitative approach that involves conducting content analysis on the interview results. Typically, corporations choose raising the prices of their products as the input is rising. MSME is prefer to raise the price while retaining the quality rather than lower the quality to keep the price in check.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pengaruh Student Experiences, Institution Image, dan Perceived Quality terhadap Students' Satisfaction di Perguruan Islam Al-Amjad Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini menguji berbagai variabel student experience, institution image, perceived quality  terhadap student satisfaction. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan desember 2022 dengan responden yaitu para siswa di Sekolah Al-Amjad yang berjumlah 100 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengampilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data yaitu validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan struktur model (PLS-SEM) dengan smartpls yang digunakan untuk menguji model menggunakan pathanalysis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa student experience tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap student satisfaction. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa student experience terbukti berpengaruh terhadap institution image. Kemudian, insitution image dan perceived value terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap student satisfaction. Kata kunci: Pengalaman Siswa; Kepuasan Siswa; Imej Institusi; KualitasAbstract: The Influence of Student Experiences, Institution Image, and Perceived Quality on Students' Satisfaction at Al-Amjad Islamic College, Medan. The purpose of this research is to examine various variables of student experience, institutional image, perceived quality on student satisfaction. This research was conducted in December 2022 with 100 students at the Al-Amjad School as respondents. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with random sampling. This study uses data analysis, namely the validity and reliability of using the model structure (PLS-SEM) with smartpls used to test the model using path analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that student experience has no effect on student satisfaction. The results of the study also found that student experience proved to have an effect on institutional image. Then, institutional image and perceived value are proven to have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction.Keywords: Student Experience; Student Satisfaction; Institution Image; Perceived Quality

Abstract

The movement of the community's economic structure experienced a very drastic decline in line with the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Covid-19 pandemic has become a driving force for digitalization in almost all sectors, including payment systems. Digitalization of the payment system is considered to be the key to accelerating national economic recovery in addition to the COVID-19 vaccination program. This research aims to find out how the Digitalization of Sharia Banks Promotes National Economic Recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used by the author in preparing this article is a literature review or literature study that contains theories that are relevant to the research problems. Several digital services can be put forward to encourage the acceleration of increasing sharia financial inclusion in Indonesia such as digital payment systems, peer-to-peer lending, and branchless banking. Increasing Sharia financial inclusion itself is carried out because it has a direct impact on improving the welfare of people who use digital-based Sharia financial services and products. Digitalization of Sharia banking can be the key to encouraging national economic recovery. The convenience of digital transaction services facilitates bank transaction activities amidst the limited mobility of community activities. So it cannot be denied that the Sharia banking industry has experienced an increase through digital banking services even though it has been hit by a crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived value and brand experience on revisit intention through tourist satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Bukit Lawang ecotourism destination. This research employs an associative quantitative approach. The study population comprises tourists who have visited Bukit Lawang, with a sample of 180 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained through documentation studies. Data analysis utilized the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS version 3.0 as the analytical tool. The results show that perceived value has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction and revisit intention. However, brand experience does not influence tourist satisfaction but has a positive and significant effect on revisit intention. Tourist satisfaction mediates the effect of perceived value and brand experience on revisit intention. This research provides practical implications for tourism managers to improve service quality and create unique experiences to enhance tourists' intention to revisit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a model of innovation capability, co-creation, and value based selling on the marketing performance of dodol entrepreneurs in North Sumatra. This study uses an explanatory research type with a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were given to the Dodol UKM craftsmen in North Sumatra as many as 60 respondents with a sample technique using a purposive sample based on predetermined criteria. Analysis of the data using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using path analysis smartpls. Based on the test, it is explained that the overall hypothesis in the study has a positive and significant effect. First, the Co Creation variable has a positive and significant effect on the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. Furthermore, the Value-based selling variable also affects the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. The innovation capability variable also has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how government involvement affects the planning of Padangsidimpuan City's development. This study uses a cross-sectional survey method and an analytical observational approach. Sorting and managing activities are done using improvement and government participation. The Padangsidimpuan City Government's Territorial Device Organization consists of a population and investigation unit. The main research method used in this study is quantitative research. Specifically, the method used could be a cross-sectional study design. The Slovin Design was used to conduct the test, which is a systematic random sampling method. 330 individuals participated in this survey as respondents. The method used to examine the information is called data analysis. A way investigation is a method used to examine the relationships between different factors. It is a type of statistical modeling that allows analysts to test hypotheses about direct and indirect effects of one variable on another. According to the study, the development planning of Padangsidimpuan City is significantly influenced in a positive way by government involvement

Abstract

The digital streaming industry faces increasing competition, particularly in price competition. The subscription prices of digital streaming platforms vary, making it difficult for companies to maintain price fairness. The fairness of price is a psychological factor that impacts consumer reactions to prices, and it significantly impacts satisfaction and loyalty. This study examines the relationship between price fairness, consumer satisfaction, and loyalty among digital streaming subscribers in Medan City. The sample consisted of 180 respondents, with the data collected using a questionnaire. The results showed that the fairness of price has a positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of customers and loyalty, the satisfaction of consumers positively and significantly affects loyalty, and price fairness influence consumer loyalty through the satisfaction of customers positively and significantly. The study suggests that digital streaming companies should adjust prices to meet consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Future research should explore engagement and expand the types of streaming platforms to gain further understanding. The findings can help digital streaming companies adjust prices to meet customer needs and preferences, ultimately increasing consumer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Abstract In digital era, digital marketing is one of the most effective ways to support marketing activities and increase sales. However, there are still many people who do not understand digital marketing, especially among women entrepreneurs in North Sumatra. Although they are accustomed to using social media as a communication medium, this habit must continue to be improved in developing their business marketing strategies. The lack of understanding of women entrepreneurs about digital marketing encourages community service activities to be carried out by delivering socialization and providing training on the use of information and communication technology. From the partner's problems obtained, the solution offered to partners is to provide material related to knowledge of digital marketing concepts and provide skills in the use and optimization of information technology products. The methods used in this activity are lectures, questions and answers, and simulations. The target to be achieved in this community service activity is the implementation of the introduction and optimal utilization of digital marketing in an effort to increase sales for women entrepreneurs in North Sumatra who are members of several women entrepreneurial communities. Walau demikian, masih banyak orang yang belum memahami mengenai digital marketing khususnya di lingkungan wirausaha perempuan di Sumatera Utara.Walaupun mereka sudah terbiasa menggunakan media sosial sebagai media komunikasi tetapi kebiasaan ini harus terus ditingkatkan penggunaannya dalam mengembangkan strategi pemasaran usahanya. Kurangnya pemahaman wirausaha perempuan mengenai digital marketing mendorong untuk dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan cara menyampaikan sosialisasi dan memberikan pelatihan mengenai penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Dari permasalahan mitra yang didapatkan maka solusi yang ditawarkan kepada mitra adalah dengan memberikan materi terkait pengetahuan tentang konsep digital marketing dan memberikan keterampilan dalam penggunaan dan optimalisasi produk teknologi informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Adapun target yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelaksanaan pengenalan dan pemanfaatan secara optimal digital marketing dalam upaya meningkatkan penjualan bagi wirausaha perempuan di Sumatera Utara yang tergabung dalam beberapa komunitas wirausaha perempuan. Abstract

Shopee is one of the online shopping places in Indonesia that allows individuals, small shops, and brands to make online transactions. The Brand Image owned by Shopee is already known to the Indonesian people compared to several other e-commerce platforms. The purpose of this study is to analyze "The Effect of Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating on Purchase Decision with Brand Image as mediation on Shopee Marketplace in Medan City". The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data, which are collected through data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. The sample in this study was 150 respondents. This study uses quantitative data, with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The test results show that partially brand image has a significant effect on purchase decision, online customer review has a significant effect on brand image, online customer review does not have a significant effect on purchase decision, online customer rating has a significant effect on brand image, online customer rating has a significant effect on purchase decision. Brand image as an intervening variable does not have a significant impact in increasing the influence of online customer rating on purchase decision. Brand image as an intervening variable as an intervening variable has a significant impact between the influence of online customer review on purchase decision.
