Abstract

Art education is essential, especially for promoting creativity among students. The purpose of this research is to investigate the use of a collaborative learning model to enhance student learning outcomes. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study included 20 pupils chosen via complete sampling. The collaborative learning approach, when used with fifth-grade primary school students, was shown to have a substantial positive impact on their learning outcomes, as evidenced by a significance value of 0. 000 < 0. 05. The application of this model is advised for use with fifth-grade primary pupils in art and culture topics, according to these findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana pembelajaran seni berperan dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan, ketangguhan, dan tanggung jawab anak. Permasalahan utama terletak pada kurangnya media pembelajaran yang mampu menanamkan nilai karakter melalui pengalaman langsung. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi praktik pembelajaran seni pada siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui proses kreatif, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga penyelesaian karya, anak terbiasa bersikap tekun, disiplin, pantang menyerah, serta bertanggung jawab menyelesaikan tugas hingga tuntas. Pembelajaran seni tidak hanya melatih keterampilan estetik, tetapi juga menja di wahana internalisasi nilai karakter yang kontekstual dan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of principals’ instructional leadership and school culture on teacher performance, with teacher self-efficacy as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from senior high school teachers in Brebes District via validated questionnaires and analyzed through path analysis. Results show that instructional leadership (β = 0.542) and self-efficacy (β = 0.383) significantly affect teacher performance, while school culture has a weaker direct effect (β = 0.027). Both instructional leadership (β = 0.332) and school culture (β = 0.543) significantly influence self-efficacy. The Sobel test confirms that self-efficacy mediates the effects of instructional leadership (Sobel = 4.614; p = 0.003) and school culture (Sobel = 5.629; p = 0.001) on performance. The study highlights the importance of strong instructional leadership and a positive school culture in enhancing teacher self-efficacy and performance. It recommends principals to reinforce leadership practices and promote supportive school environments. Future studies should explore broader contexts and include variables such as motivation or job satisfaction.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ visual creativity has often not been fully explored due to limited media and conventional approaches to art education. This study aims to explore how creating collage artworks using recycled materials can serve as a means of stimulating the visual creativity of third-grade students at SD 1 Gulang Kudus. The main issue examined is how the process and outcomes of children’s visual creativity emerge through collage activities using recycled bottle caps. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method, involving 30 students from SD 1 Gulang Kudus. Data were collected through participatory observation, documentation of students’ artworks, and interviews with teachers and students. Data analysis in this case study research uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusions.The results showed that the use of recycled bottle caps stimulated exploration of unique forms, colors, and compositions, enhanced students’ confidence in self-expression, and strengthened environmental awareness. Students demonstrated improvement in originality, elaboration, and flexibility in visual thinking. The study implies that integrating eco-friendly materials into art learning is an effective strategy for fostering creativity while instilling values of sustainability from an early age. Teachers are expected to be more innovative in selecting media and providing students with opportunities for free exploration.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kebutuhan untuk memperkuat kompetensi sosial-emosional siswa sejak dini agar mereka mampu menghadapi tantangan komunikasi dan interaksi sosial di masa depan.Kepercayaan diri merupakan kompetensi sosial-emosional yang penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia sekolah dasar, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana kegiatan menampilkan diri di depan kelas dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 23 Batara selama dua bulan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 20 siswa kelas IV dan seorang guru kelas sebagai informan utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi kegiatan unjuk diri seperti presentasi, bercerita, membaca puisi, serta pentas mini. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan menggunakan model analisis tematik: Transkripsi data, Reduksi data, Tahap pengkodean, Tahap interpretasi dan penarikan simpul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan menampilkan diri yang dilakukan secara rutin dan terstruktur mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa secara bertahap. Siswa yang semula pasif dan takut tampil mulai menunjukkan keberanian, kelancaran ekspresi verbal, serta respons positif terhadap apresiasi teman dan guru. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi suasana kelas yang inklusif, pemberian umpan balik positif, dan pendampingan emosional oleh guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga pada pengembangan karakter melalui pengalaman langsung. Disarankan agar kegiatan unjuk diri diintegrasikan dalam rutinitas pembelajaran sebagai strategi berkelanjutan untuk membangun kepercayaan diri siswa.

Abstract

Resiliensi guru merupakan faktor krusial dalam menjaga kualitas instruksional di tengah dinamika beban kerja dan kondisi lingkungan sekolah yang fluktuatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja terhadap resiliensi guru dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi di SD Muhammadiyah se-Kecamatan Berbah. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 75 guru melalui teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh (total sampling). Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner terstruktur yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, sementara data dianalisis secara mendalam menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) serta uji Sobel untuk mendeteksi kekuatan efek mediasi secara akurat. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik, lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi guru, namun kedua variabel tersebut terbukti memiliki kontribusi positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja. Hasil pengujian hipotesis mengonfirmasi bahwa motivasi kerja berperan sebagai mediator penuh (full mediation) yang menghubungkan faktor lingkungan dan beban kerja terhadap resiliensi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kondisi fisik maupun beban tugas hanya akan berdampak pada ketahanan psikologis guru apabila faktor-faktor eksternal tersebut mampu diinternalisasi menjadi penggerak motivasi mereka. Dengan demikian, resiliensi guru di SD Muhammadiyah Berbah tidak terbentuk secara spontan dari stimulus eksternal, melainkan sangat bergantung pada sejauh mana variabel motivasi mampu mengelola tekanan menjadi daya lenting yang kokoh, sehingga implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya intervensi manajerial yang berfokus pada penguatan aspek motivator untuk membangun guru yang tangguh di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di Kecamatan Salaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal-komparatif. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Salaman dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 75 orang yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru, serta motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Namun demikian, pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru tidak seluruhnya signifikan. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwa motivasi kerja berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang menjembatani pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru.Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan disiplin kerja guru lebih efektif dicapai melalui penguatan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi yang mampu menumbuhkan motivasi kerja guru secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of interactive science instructional materials assisted by Articulate Storyline in improving fourth-grade elementary students’ conceptual understanding. The study employed a Research and Development approach with a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental class and a control class. The subjects of the study were fourth-grade elementary school students divided into an experimental class that used interactive instructional materials and a control class that used conventional learning materials. Data were collected through conceptual understanding tests administered as pretests and posttests. Data analysis included normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain analysis. The results indicate a significant difference in students’ conceptual understanding between the experimental and control classes. The experimental class showed a higher posttest mean score and a moderate N-Gain value compared to the control class. These findings demonstrate that interactive science instructional materials assisted by Articulate Storyline are effective in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding. Therefore, such instructional materials can be used as an alternative learning resource to improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

Field-Based Learning Practice (FBLP) has become a key component in the curriculum of the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University. This learning model emphasizes hands-on experience through community engagement, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and real-world health challenges. However, evidence remains limited on how public health competencies are systematically demonstrated and assessed within structured field-based learning outputs. FBLP places students directly in community settings, where they engage in a structured problem-solving cycle that includes problem identification, root cause analysis, and the design and implementation of intervention strategies. This study adopts a descriptive case study approach to analyze 20 student group reports from FBLP conducted between 2023 and 2024. Data were collected through documentation review, using the Problem-Solving Cycle stages and Knowledge–Attitude–Practice (KAP) indicators as analytical lenses to assess competency evidence. Findings show that FBLP significantly strengthens both technical and interpersonal competencies. Across reports, students most consistently demonstrated competency in problem prioritization (MCUA), determinant-based causal analysis (fishbone/Blum framework), and action planning, while monitoring and evaluation were less consistently documented. Students demonstrated improved problem-solving abilities, a deeper understanding of public health dynamics, and better readiness to work in multidisciplinary environments. The application of Multiple Criteria Utility Assessment (MCUA), Fishbone, and How-How analysis methods enriched learning and supported holistic intervention design. This study contributes methodological insight by demonstrating how report-based indicators can be used to evaluate competency development within a structured field-learning cycle, with implications for curriculum design and competency-based assessment. FBLP is proven to be an effective pedagogical strategy for preparing students to respond to the complex demands of public health practice. This model may serve as a reference for other institutions seeking to enhance competency-based education through experiential learning.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the key 21st-century skills that need to be developed from primary education onwards, requiring a learning approach tailored to students' needs and characteristics, one of which is differentiated learning. This study aims to analyse the application of differentiated learning in developing critical thinking skills in elementary school students, identify the challenges of its implementation, and explore learning adaptation strategies during the 2020–2024 period. The study used a qualitative approach with a systematic review method of relevant national and international journal articles, which were collected through structured literature searches, selected based on specific criteria, and analysed thematically. The results of the study show that differentiated learning generally contributes positively to increasing student engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking skills because it allows teachers to tailor learning to the readiness, interests, and learning styles of students. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limitations in teachers' pedagogical competencies, planning time, and learning facility support, especially in the context of online and hybrid learning. This study concludes that differentiated learning has great potential as an adaptive learning strategy in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Therefore, policy support, ongoing training, and professional guidance are needed to ensure optimal and sustainable implementation.
