Abstract

Ketersediaan data kependudukan diberbagai tingkatan administrasi pemerintahan menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan pelaksanaan program-program pembangunan maupun penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. Kenagarian Anduring memiliki 7 Korong yang sangat luas dan tersebar hingga perbatasan Kecamatan Lubuk Alung. Tersebarnya Korong tersebut membuat permasalahan kependudukan menjadi hal utama di Nagari ini. Berdasarkan penelusuran Lapangan yang dilakukan, data kependudukan di wilayah studi masih bersifat umum dan belum mencerminkan amanat UU No 24 Tahun 2013 tentang administrasi kependudukan. Permasalahan mitra yaitu (1) Belum tersedianya database kependudukan yang sistematik, terstruktur dan terintegrasi digital (2) Belum terkumpulnya data agregat kependudukan sesuai UU No 24 Tahun 2013 (3) Kurangnya kemampuan survey Lapangan kependudukan oleh Kader KB di Nagari Anduring. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas yaitu (1) Workshop dan FGD Bersama Mitra terkait “Data Kependudukan Terdigitalisasi menuju era 4.0” (2) Pelatihan penyusunan instrument kependudukan dengan kerja sama mitra yaitu Disdukcapil Provinsi Sumatera Barat. (3) Pelatihan survey Lapangan kependudukan melalui aplikasi Open Data Collect yang komprehensif dan teritegrasi dengan sistem informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah penerapan model Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). PRA merupakan metode penelitian aksi yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat/Perangkat nagari/pendamping desa/kader KB dalam pembangunan. Dimulai dari workshop dan FGD kemudian dilanjutkan pelatihan penyusunan instrumen survei kependudukan menggunakan aplikasi ODK Collect yang open acces.

Abstract

Textbooks are a vital component in the educational process, serving as essential teaching materials that aid students in achieving learning objectives and competency standards. Teachers face challenges in choosing and determining appropriate learning models, but teaching materials offer solutions to address classroom issues. These materials can be sourced from personal experience, expert opinions, colleagues, books, mass media, the internet, and more. Teaching materials facilitate students' engagement with real-life facts and experiences, enabling them to assess and develop ideas, solve problems, acquire skills, and nurture creativity. Teaching materials encompass a wide range of formats, including printed resources (such as workbooks, modules, and learning comics), audio resources (such as sound recordings), audio-visual resources (such as educational videos and cartoons), and interactive materials (such as e-workbooks and web-based resources). The success of the learning process hinges on the careful selection and development of suitable teaching materials. This development is part of scientific research aimed at creating or improving products with practical value. Nana Syaodih Sukmadinata supports this perspective, emphasizing that research and development involve steps to create new products or enhance existing ones. In summary, teaching materials play a crucial role in educational success by providing students with valuable experiences and supporting the curriculum effectively.

Abstract

This research is the development of learning media for geography based on multimedia word wall (website) which aims to develop learning media for geography which is monotonous to be interesting and so far it has only relied on textbooks which can make students bored every time they study in class. The development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subject of this study was Senior High School (SHS) 1 Padangbolak Julu. The research population was students from SHS 1 Padangbolak Julu, the results of the validation test were the results of the assessment of the two validators. 3.68% "valid" with the validity category is in the interval (2.5 ?

Abstract

Teachers utilizing a contextual approach are expected to integrate the material taught with real-world situations relevant to students' lives. Despite limitations in their abilities, teachers are still tasked with optimizing the learning process. The animation-based Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model facilitates an engaging and enjoyable learning environment. This approach allows students to naturally interact with the material, promoting direct practice in group settings. Contextual learning fosters a deeper understanding of the essence, meaning, and benefits of education, motivating students to persistently seek knowledge and develop a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Such conditions emerge when students comprehend their life needs and devise strategies to fulfill them. The study concludes that implementing the STAD cooperative learning model for Class XI IPS students at SHS 4 Bengkalis during the 2022/2023 academic year significantly enhanced learning outcomes. The pre-cycle completion rate was 50% (13 students), increasing to 73% (19 students) in Cycle I, and reaching 88% (23 students) in Cycle II. In terms of absorption rates, the initial figure was 67%, which rose to 73% in Cycle I and improved further to 86% in Cycle II. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of STAD in improving student engagement and achievement.

Abstract

This research to analyze the availability of educational facilities and human resources (HR) in Elementary Schools (SD) in Padang Utara District, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The research method used was descriptive with total sampling from 34 elementary schools in Padang Utara District. Primary data was obtained from the school concerned, while secondary data was obtained from supporting documents and literature. Data analysis was carried out through needs fulfillment analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the availability of educational facilities in Padang Utara District elementary schools is included in the sufficient category, with the majority of elementary schools having adequate classrooms, laboratories, libraries and fields. However, IT facilities are still very minimal with only 4 elementary schools having them. Apart from that, the number of teachers in each elementary school in Padang Utara District is sufficient, and some schools even have excess teachers compared to standard requirements. This research concludes that although the availability of facilities and human resources at Padang Utara District Elementary School is quite adequate, there are still several areas that require improvement, especially in IT facilities to support a more effective learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru dengan fokus perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi pada bulan Mei 2024, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dimulai dengan penyusunan KOSP dan pembentukan tim kurikulum. Pengorganisasian melibatkan kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler berbasis proyek. Pelaksanaan kurikulum menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan diferensiasi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui asesmen diagnostik, formatif, dan sumatif, dengan program remedial dan pengayaan bagi siswa.  Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum merdeka di SMA IT Fadhilah telah diterapkan secara efektif, namun membutuhkan penguatan pada aspek pelatihan guru dan pengelolaan evaluasi berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the distribution and accessibility of educational field practice (PLK) locations as places where teaching by Geography Education Field Practice students in Padang City. The method used in this research is the euclidean distance method to estimate and reflect the direct distance between the locations of schools by measuring the distance to school points (maximum and minimum) which tend to be the goals of PLK activities in Padang City from 2021 to 2023. Analysis carried out carried out divided into sub-district areas in Padang City. The results of analysis distribution of PLK location selection are spread across several schools in eleven sub-districts. The affordability of location shows that there are differences in the geographical distribution of educational field practice schools in Padang City. Distribution of maximum and minimum distance variations between schools and between different sub-districts through analysis with the help of the Geography Information System. The results of the affordability analysis explain that there is a difference between the maximum and minimum distance between schools and the number of students who choose teaching practice locations from the outermost area of the sub-district. Where areas closer to school points are an option for prospective PLK students.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the extent of changes in the use of rice field agricultural land in X Koto District in the period of 2005-2014 and the period of 2014-2023, (2) To analyze the carrying capacity of rice field agricultural land in X Koto District for the period of 2005-2014 and the period of 2014-2023. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method with secondary analysis. The data used are secondary data in the form of Landsat 7 ETM Satellite Imagery in 2005, Landsat 8 OLI Imagery in 2014 and 2023, as well as data on the area of rice harvested land, the number of population, and the average rice production in X Koto District for the period of 2005-2014 and the period of 2014-2023. The data analysis technique uses Supervised Classification. The analysis of changes in rice field agricultural land in this study uses the overlay technique. The researcher found: (1) The area of rice field agricultural land in 2005 was 1973.40 ha, then in 2014 it decreased to 1513.15 ha with a reduction rate of 23.32%. In 2023, the area of paddy field agricultural land will decrease again to 1265.76 ha with a reduction rate of 16.34%. (2) In the period of 2005-2014, the carrying capacity of rice field agricultural land in X Koto District was 1.74 and the period of 2014-2023 was 1.89. X Koto District is an area with food self-sufficiency, where the area is able to meet the basic needs of the community, but has not been able to provide a decent life for its residents.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the learning styles of students in class XI IPS in Geography subjects at SMAN 8 Padang City. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 8 Padang which amounted to 121 students. Sampling in this study using random sampling technique, which ultimately resulted in 93 students. While the data collection method is done by observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that of the 93 students who became the population of this study, the highest number of 51 students 55% were those who had a visual learning style, students who had an auditory learning style were 32 students 34%, and students who had a kinesthetic learning style were many 10 students 11%.

Abstract

Bahan ajar berbantuan komputer yang bersifat dinamis sangat berguna ketika digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, bahan ajar berbantuan komputer memiliki kemampuan sebagai bahan yang memiliki daya abstraksi yang tinggi dan bersifat rumit. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPS berupa program pembelajaran menggunakan software Macromedia Director. Jenis penelitian ini ialah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development). Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan media pembelajaran Interaktif materi Kolonialisme dan Imperialisme Bangsa Barat di Indonesia  dengan menggunakan Software Macromedia Director pada kelas VIII SMP. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D (four D Models) Thiagarajan. Model pengembangan 4-D merupakan model yang dikembangkan oleh S. Thiagarajan, Dhoroty S. Semmel, dan Melvyn I. Semmel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan range nilai kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif, nilai kelayakan media ini dari siswa berada pada range sangat layak meskipun nilai ini mendekati kategori layak. Jika nilai kelayakan dipresentasikan, tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif adalah 86, 9 %. dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Interaktif pokok bahasan Kolonialisme dan Imperialisme Bangsa Barat di Indonesia ini dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran baik oleh guru maupun siswa.
