Abstract

In this study, the main focus is to see the relationship between the minimum wage and poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. By adding independent variables, namely average years of schooling, economic growth, and open unemployment rate. The data used in this study is secondary data from the official website of the Yogyakarta Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) from 5 districts / cities with a time span of 2013 to 2023. Data analysis in this study uses panel data analysis that combines time series and cross section data with a fixed effect model (FEM) approach processed with Stata14 static tools. The results showed that the minimum wage (LUMK) had a negative and significant effect on poverty (LPM) and the open unemployment rate (TPT) had a significant positive effect on poverty (LPM), while the average years of schooling (RRLS) and economic growth (PE) had no effect on poverty. However, simultaneously all independent variables have a significant effect on poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study explores the communication challenges organizations face when adopting AI-driven management systems, a growing trend in digital transformation. The integration of algorithmic management, where AI systems autonomously handle tasks such as scheduling, performance tracking, and decision-making, has led to a shift in traditional communication flows. This research aims to investigate how these systems alter organizational communication, focusing on the implications for employee engagement, feedback mechanisms, and decision-making processes. Using a qualitative approach with multiple case studies across the logistics, e-commerce, and digital services sectors, data was collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that algorithmic management systems reduce communication to one-way, impersonal directives, resulting in emotional dissonance, alienation, and ambiguity among employees. Informal communication networks emerge as critical spaces for meaning-making and restoring agency. The study concludes that while algorithmic systems optimize efficiency, they must be designed to incorporate dialogic processes and feedback loops to preserve organizational cohesion and trust. This research highlights the need for more communicatively informed approaches to algorithmic management that balance efficiency with relational dynamics.

Abstract

Abstract The digital transformation driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution has given rise to algorithmic management, where artificial intelligence-based systems actively supervise, evaluate, and direct employees. This new paradigm creates unique psychological challenges known as algorithmic anxiety. This study aims to analyze the influence of algorithmic anxiety on work stress and professional self-confidence among employees in the digital era. This research uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The participants consisted of 250 employees in the city of Padang who work for companies implementing algorithmic management, with an age range of 18 to 35 years, selected through a convenience sampling technique. Data were collected using the Algorithmic Anxiety Scale (SKA), an adaptation of the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10), and an adaptation of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Data analysis was performed using a simple linear regression test. The research findings indicate that algorithmic anxiety has a significant influence on work stress and professional self-confidence. This influence is positive for work stress, meaning an increase in algorithmic anxiety will increase work stress. Conversely, the influence is negative for professional self-confidence, where an increase in algorithmic anxiety will decrease the level of professional self-confidence. The contribution of algorithmic anxiety to the dependent variables is 8.8%. In conclusion, algorithmic management is a significant source of psychological pressure for employees in the modern workplace.

Abstract

One of the public institutions that must provide services by referring to the principles of good governance is a political party. Political parties become part of the state due to state financing through the National Budget (APBN) and Regional Budget (APBD). The purpose of this study is to find out how public trust in local political parties, as well as to find out efforts in building public trust in local parties. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The result was that local parties must revamp party regeneration if public trust is to increase. In addition, party ideology must be clear so that it is easily understood by the public and also increases public trust in the political party itself. The conclusion from this research is that public trust in political parties is an important thing and one way to achieve this is for parties to be inclusive of the latest issues in their region or region. The next research recommendation that can be carried out is to explore how Islamic law is the basis of the political system in Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of fundamental factors on stock prices of property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2016–2023 period. The independent variables are Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Current Ratio (CR), and Accounts Receivable Turnover (ART), while the dependent variable is stock price measured by the closing stock price. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consists of 35 property companies listed on the IDX during 2016–2023. Using purposive sampling, 30 companies that met the research criteria were selected, resulting in 240 observations. Secondary data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that ROE, DER, EPS, CR, and ART simultaneously affect stock prices. Partially, ROE, DER, and EPS have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, whereas CR and ART do not have a significant effect. The adjusted coefficient of determination shows that the model explains 22.7% of stock price variation. These findings indicate that investors place greater emphasis on profitability and earnings performance than on liquidity and activity ratios when evaluating property companies.

Abstract

Blockchain technology is increasingly adopted in agribusiness supply chains to improve transparency, traceability, and coordination. However, previous studies have largely examined productivity, technology adoption, and transaction costs separately, providing limited understanding of how blockchain simultaneously affects production and governance performance. This study investigates the effects of blockchain adoption on technical efficiency, productivity growth, technology-gap reduction, and transaction-cost performance in a vertically integrated cassava–tapioca cooperative agribusiness system in Indonesia. A balanced panel dataset of 30 cooperative decision-making units (DMUs) observed from 2019–2025 was analyzed using an integrated framework combining Dynamic Network Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA), the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI), Meta-Frontier Analysis, and a Transaction-Cost Frontier Model. Blockchain adoption substantially improved organizational performance. Mean DEA technical efficiency increased from 0.742 to 0.861 (+15.98%), while SFA efficiency increased from 0.756 to 0.872 (+15.34%). Productivity growth accelerated after adoption, with MPI values ranging from 1.062 to 1.097, primarily driven by technological change. The Technology Gap Ratio increased from 0.841 to 0.921, indicating closer convergence toward the meta-frontier. Transaction-cost inefficiency declined by 35.5% among blockchain adopters, reflecting significant reductions in monitoring, verification, and coordination costs. The novelty of this study lies in conceptualizing blockchain as an algorithmic governance mechanism and integrating productivity, technology-gap, and transaction-cost frontier analyses within a single framework. The findings show that blockchain functions not only as a digital technology but also as a governance innovation capable of simultaneously shifting production and coordination frontiers, offering practical guidance for digital transformation in cooperative agribusiness systems.
