Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh layanan omnichannel, positioning produk, dan diferensiasi produk terhadap keputusan nasabah dalam menggunakan produk Tabungan Emas di PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pangkep. Layanan omnichannel memungkinkan nasabah untuk mengakses layanan dengan lebih mudah melalui berbagai saluran, sedangkan positioning dan diferensiasi produk membantu membentuk persepsi nasabah terhadap produk Tabungan Emas, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan keputusan mereka untuk berinvestasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada nasabah PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pangkep yang telah menggunakan atau tertarik pada produk Tabungan Emas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan omnichannel, positioning produk, dan diferensiasi produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan nasabah dalam menggunakan produk Tabungan Emas, dengan layanan omnichannel sebagai variabel yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa PT. Pegadaian dapat meningkatkan keputusan nasabah dengan mengoptimalkan layanan omnichannel serta memperkuat positioning dan diferensiasi produk Tabungan Emas.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a disease caused by disorders related to the insulin hormone. This study aims to determine the results of fasting blood glucose levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus sufferers who consume carbohydrates and cholesterol in the outpatient Universitas Indonesia Timur Wisata Hospital, Makassar City.Methods: The type of research used is observational with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was 10 outpatients with type II diabetes mellitus at the Wisata Hospital of the Universitas Indonesia Timur. Data were collected using purposive sampling. The research results are made in tabular form and narrated.Results: The average fasting blood glucose (FBG) level is 129.3 mg/dl, which was included in the diabetes category. The average 2-hour post-prandial blood glucose level (BG2PP) value was 244.1 mg/dl, which was also included in the diabetes category. Carbohydrate and cholesterol consumption had an average value of 255.6 grams and 223.9 mg, respectively.Conclusion: The average fasting blood glucose and 2-hour post-prandial blood glucose values are included in the diabetes category. Impaired FBG increases the patient's risk of developing diabetes in the future compared to if the patient has impaired blood glucose tolerance.Keywords: Blood glucose levels, carbohydrate intake, cholesterol intake

Abstract

The rapid increase in the number of the workforce in Indonesia which is not matched by the number of available jobs will cause unemployment, therefore policies are needed that are able to increase labor absorption and also reduce unemployment. This study aims to analyze the effect of the minimum wage on labor absorption in Indonesia. The data used in the form of secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. This study uses the independent variable of the provincial minimum wage with the control variables namely education and GRDP of each province. The dependent variable used is labor absorption. This study uses panel data using the fixed effect model for the 2015-2020 period in 34 provinces in Indonesia. In this study, it was found that the provincial minimum wage had a positive effect on employment in Indonesia in 2015-2020. In addition, the control variables of education and GRDP also have a positive influence on employment.

Abstract

Education and training are still needed to improve digital literacy and entrepreneurial skills. This community service must prepare and equip prospective entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities better and face challenges in the digital era. The service method applies survey observations to ensure the number of achievements and the achievement of participation conditions in activities supported by pre-test observations as the primary material for FGDs. It ends with an evaluation in the form of a post-test. The abstract should end with comments on the importance of the results or a brief conclusion. Overall, the training on entre preneurship in the digital era has significantly improved participants' knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Participants demonstrated compreh ensive understand ing, practical skills, and high motivation to apply digital entrepreneur ship concepts in starting or expanding their businesses. Although participants have concrete follow-up plans, it is important that there is a structured mentoring mechanism to ensure the realization of these plans and that closer collaboration with relevant parties is needed to support post-training digital business development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of audit experience and professional skepticism on auditors' ability to detect financial statement fraud, with the application of Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 65 external auditors working at Public Accounting Firms in the Jakarta area. The analytical method used was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that audit experience does not have a significant effect on auditors' ability to detect fraud, while professional skepticism has a positive influence. The direct application of CAATs also does not significantly affect the detection ability; however, CAATs are able to moderate the relationship between professional skepticism and auditors' ability to detect fraud. Conversely, CAATs do not moderate the relationship between audit experience and fraud detection ability. These findings highlight the importance of professional skepticism and technological utilization in enhancing auditors' effectiveness in fraud detection.

Abstract

This research analyzes the price discovery process of Alibaba shares traded on two major exchanges: the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with the ticker BABA and the Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) with the ticker 9988. The methods used include the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), Hasbrouck's Information Share (IS), and Impulse Response Function (IRF) to measure the relative contribution of each exchange in reflecting new information in stock prices. The results of the analysis show that the two exchanges have a strong long-term relationship, as indicated by the Johansen cointegration test. Based on the IS calculation, HKEX has a greater contribution to price discovery compared to NYSE, indicating that Alibaba's stock price reflects new information faster on HKEX. The IRF analysis shows that price shocks on one exchange have a significant impact on the other exchange in the short term, but the effect tends to diminish in the long term. These findings provide insight for investors in choosing a more efficient exchange for transactions and open up arbitrage opportunities based on the different roles of each exchange in price discovery.

Abstract

This study examines the paradigm shift of traditional media in the face of the digital era, focusing on the adaptation processes and forms of media convergence through Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. The research analyzes the discourse representations of digitalization constructed by four media institutions, BBC, TVRI, Kompas, and The Guardian, through official documents, corporate statements, and strategic content. This study aims to explore how traditional media constructs its identity in response to the demands of digital platforms and how the power structures and ideologies behind this transformation process unfold. The main findings reveal that media transformation is not only technical but also reflects changes in power structures, ideological values, and epistemic dynamics. At the textual level, media adaptation is constructed through narratives of innovation and participation, yet it retains the institutional dominance of traditional media. At the level of discursive practices, media institutions adopt multiplatform strategies and user engagement; however, public participation remains structurally controlled by the media organizations. Meanwhile, at the social practice level, there is a negotiation between traditional journalistic values and the increasingly dominant digital algorithmic logic in content management. The shift in media paradigms from linear, centralized communication models to participatory, modular, and decentralized many-to-many communication models has introduced new challenges, such as epistemic crises, misinformation, and digital platform dominance. Despite this, traditional media still strives to maintain its relevance in the increasingly complex digital media ecosystem. This study contributes theoretically by recommending the need for deeper critical digital literacy, as well as a reformulation of journalistic values to address the challenges of misinformation and technological dominance. An interdisciplinary approach is essential to better understand communication within the contemporary media landscape, which is increasingly dominated by digital platforms.

Abstract

This research comprehensively investigates the pedagogical effectiveness of integrating Augmented Reality (AR)-based digital visualization, facilitated by Assemblr EDU platform using Anchored Instruction (AI) learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research method employed was a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design, involving 60 seventh grade students (average age of 13-15 years old) from Global Islamic School Al Amin Junior High School Gondanglegi. The primary instrument for data collection was a valid and reliable critical thinking skills test (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.82), which was specifically designed to measure six crucial aspects of critical thinking. The experimental group adopted learning process that integrated an environmental pollution case study as an anchor by utilizing interactive AR model and visualization creation task using Assemblr EDU. In contrast, the control group was given a lesson using the same AI model but without the AR digital visualization component. The research findings portrayed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) in the improvement of critical thinking skills scores between the experimental group (mean gain score 19.7, SD = 3.1) and the control group (mean gain score 9.7, SD = 2.8). The Cohen's d effect size of 2.56 indicated a powerful impact of the intervention. This research provides important implications for science education practice, highlighting the transformative potential of visualization technology, particularly AR through easily accessible platforms such as Assemblr EDU, in enhancing student engagement, facilitating the understanding of complex concepts and empowering the development of their critical thinking skills in facing the increasingly complex environmental challenges

Abstract

Perusahaan independen jasa laboratorium batu bara dan mineral perlu mempertahankan kualitas pemasaran jasanya agar tetap menjadi rujukan perusahaan yang membutuhkan kan jasanya dan perusahaan jasa laboratorium seperti PT. Indo Borneo Inspeksi Services perlu satu strategi pemasaran jasa dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan menjadi rujukan bagi perusahaan yang menginginkan jasanya. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Penurunan pemasaran di PT. Indo Borneo Inspeksi Services dipicu oleh kondisi pasar yang tidak stabil, persaingan yang ketat, serta perbedaan antara janji layanan dan kenyataan. 2) Strategi pemasaran PT. Indo Borneo Inspeksi Services mengutamakan penjualan langsung, peningkatan mutu layanan, dan ketepatan hasil uji. Perusahaan juga menerapkan konsep 4P dengan fokus pada kualitas produk, harga bersaing, promosi berbasis data, serta distribusi yang didukung teknologi digital. 3) Strategi pemasaran PT. Indo Borneo Inspeksi Services berdampak pada peningkatan layanan, transparansi, dan komunikasi lewat platform digital. Evaluasi berkala dilakukan agar strategi tetap sesuai kebutuhan pasar.

Abstract

Abstrak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) sektor kuliner memegang peran penting dalam mendukung perekonomian nasional. Namun demikian, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pengembangan usahanya, termasuk akses permodalan, keterbatasan pemasaran digital, serta rendahnya kesadaran akan pengelolaan limbah yang berkelanjutan. Warung Sate Kambing Pakdhe, yang berlokasi di Bantul, Yogyakarta, merupakan salah satu UMKM yang mengalami ketiga permasalahan tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi melalui tiga pendekatan utama, yaitu: sosialisasi akses permodalan usaha bagi UMKM, pendampingan digital marketing dengan fokus pada pengelolaan media sosial Instagram, serta pelatihan dan praktik langsung pengelolaan sampah organik melalui metode biopori. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan terstruktur melalui beberapa tahapan: survey awal untuk mengidentifikasi masalah, serta pendampingan dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam ketiga aspek tersebut. Pendekatan terintegratif ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kapasitas usaha mitra serta mendorong pertumbuhan usaha yang lebih berkelanjutan dan bertanggung jawab secara sosial dan lingkungan. Kata kunci: akses modal usaha; digital marketing; pengelolaan limbah; UMKM kuliner. Abstract Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector play an important role in supporting the national economy. However, many MSME players still face various challenges in developing their businesses, including limited access to capital, inadequate digital marketing, and low awareness of sustainable waste management. Warung Sate Kambing Pakdhe, located in Bantul, Yogyakarta, is one of the MSMEs experiencing these three problems. This Community Service activity aims to provide solutions through three main approaches: socialization of access to business capital for MSMEs, digital marketing assistance with a focus on Instagram social media management, and training and hands-on practice of organic waste management through the biopore method. This community service programme employs a structured approach through several stages: an initial survey to identify problems, as well as assistance with pre-tests and post-tests to measure knowledge improvement. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills in all three aspects. This integrated approach is expected to enhance the business capacity of partners and foster more sustainable, socially responsible, and environmentally responsible business growth. Keywords: access to business capital; digital marketing; waste management; culinary MSMEs.
