Abstract

Prophet Musa AS’s da’wah strategy is a classic example of an effective approach in various historical and social contexts. This study analyzes Prophet Musa’s da’wah strategies in dealing with Fir'aun, the Children of Israel, and Samiri to identify effective methods for conveying divine messages and their relevance today. The methodology includes literature analysis from the Qur'an, exegesis, and secondary sources on da’wah strategies. Findings show that Prophet Musa used miracles and assertiveness in confronting Fir'aun, applied education and guidance for the Children of Israel, and enforced laws against Samiri. His strategies emphasize the importance of assertiveness, patience, and contextual adaptation in da’wah. Abstract

Tawhid is the core of Islamic teachings and is the fundamental basis for all aspects of a Muslim's life. Understanding of tawhid is not only limited to theory, but must be realized in daily practice through worship, morals, and social interaction. In the history of Islam, scholars played an important role in spreading the understanding of tawhid, continuing the mission of the Prophets. One of the scholars who contributed greatly to this was Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, whose thoughts on tawhid became the main reference in Islamic preaching and education. This study aims to describe and analyze the concept of tawhid according to the perspective of Sheikh Bin Baz, as well as its implementation and relevance in preaching and education in the global era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, analyzing Bin Baz's main works and related literature. The results of the study show that Sheikh Bin Baz emphasized the urgency and centrality of tawhid in Islamic teachings, with a focus on three aspects: tauhid rububiyyah, uluhiyyah, and asma' wasifat. This article also discusses the findings on the importance of integrating monotheism in education to ensure a clear understanding of faith among Muslims, especially in facing the challenges of modern ideologies such as secularism, liberalism, and pluralism. The implications of these findings indicate that monotheism is an effort to protect Islamic beliefs and plays an important role in shaping educational curricula, thus producing devout Muslims who are able to face contemporary challenges. This study contributes to the discourse on the relevance of monotheism in modern da'wah and education, providing insights for educators and preachers in upholding the teachings of monotheism in Islam.

Abstract

This article examines the existence and dynamics of Religious Courts in Indonesia, emphasizing their crucial role in addressing Islamic legal issues such as marriage, inheritance, and other civil matters. From the Islamic kingdoms to the modern era, Religious Courts have played a strategic role, despite facing various challenges during colonial rule and in post-independence times. The purpose of this article is to explore the roles, challenges, and developments of Religious Courts within Indonesia's national legal system. The research methodology employed is a qualitative literature review, analyzing various legal sources and court rulings. The findings indicate that, despite significant progress, Religious Courts continue to face challenges, particularly in integrating with the national legal system and adapting to modernization. The conclusion suggests that Religious Courts remain crucial in delivering justice for the Muslim community, though stronger synergy with the national legal system is necessary. The implications of this research contribute to the development of legal scholarship, particularly in strengthening the role of Religious Courts in Indonesia. The study also provides recommendations for policymakers in formulating more effective regulations to address the contemporary challenges faced by Religious Courts.
