The financial sector, especially the banking subsector, has a market capitalization value ranked in the top 10 on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Investors do not only rely on existing phenomena, but in deciding to invest they need to carry out stock analysis using a basic approach that can reduce losses and increase profits. This research aims to make investors know how to apply the best techniques in predicting stock prices for the next five years. The fundamental analysis used is the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method with the Free Cash Flow to Firm (FCFF) approach. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach without testing hypotheses. The pusposive sampling method was used in this research to select 2 sharia banks that met the criteria in accordance with this research which had the stock code BTPS (Bank BTPN Syariah) and PNBS (Bank Panin Dubai Syariah). By assessing share price valuation, the results obtained in this research are that BTPS and PNBS shares are in the undervalued category, the best investment decision that investors can choose is to buy them. However, to obtain optimal results it needs to be combined with other analyzes, namely technical analysis and money management.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the concept of contract and agreement in the perspective of Islamic and Civil law. This is a literature review (library research). The data analysis method used is content analysis. The findings of this study reveal that both the provisions of Islamic law and the Civil Law related to contracts and agreements do not clearly describe the specific things that make a difference from the provisions of Islamic law and the provisions contained in the Civil Law. Based on this, of course at a glance it can be understood that contracts and agreements based on the provisions of Islamic law and the Civil Law are no different, because each requires the existence of a legal subject, legal object and legal substance itself which in real terms must be disclosed in the contract and agreement.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the concept of marriage in the perspective of feminism and Islamic marriage law. This is a literature review (library research). The data analysis method used is content analysis. The findings of this study reveal that in the discourse of feminism, there are pros and cons regarding the institution of marriage. There are feminists who reject the institution of marriage outright and there are those who are pro. The pro camp generally comes from the psychoanalytic and postmodernist camps which do not prohibit women from making their free choice to marry, but intend to redefine the meaning of marriage for women and men equally.Marriage in Islamic marriage law illustrates that the family is the core foundation of community development which is upheld on the basis of nature and a strong system. Family is a vital need for individuals and members of society. Annihilating the family means going against the laws of nature in social life.

Abstract

The survival of Acehnese and Balinese cattle is affected by feed that contains nutrients to support the growth and productivity of livestock. Feed quality, quantity and continuity are problems that affect the productivity of local cattle in Indonesia. The most commonly used forages in feeding Aceh and Bali cattle are elephant grass dan field grass, while the most commonly used concentrates are palm fronds and corn. A combination of 80% forage and 20% concentrate tends to be better for increasing daily weight gain of Aceh and Bali cattle.

Abstract

In this article, the author discussed the inheritance system in Indonesia. The inheritance distribution system in Indonesia is based on Islamic law, civil code, and customary law. On the other hand, gender equality activists have their perspectives regarding the justice of the distribution system based on the proportion received by men and women. Based on the discussion, it was known that there are similarities and differences among Indonesian inheritance distribution systems. Each of the systems regulates that the testator must die and the main heirs are blood-related to the decedent. In Islam law, men receive more than a woman with a ratio of  2:1 due to men’s responsibility to their family. Meanwhile, the proportion between men and women regulated by the Indonesian civil code is equal. In Minangkabau matrilineal customary law, as a system based on the mother's lineage, the proportion of inheritance is distinguished between high inheritance and low inheritance. The high inheritance will be given to the woman and the low inheritance will be shared equally between men and women. However, some gender equality activists might see those proportions as a form of injustice. But, each of the systems has its perspective regarding justice.

Abstract

In 2018, the percentage of Indonesians who have gingivitis was 96.58%. Accumulation of plaque and Porphyromonas gingivalis bacteria cause gingivitis, an inflammation of the gingival tissue. Cananga (Cananga odorata), according to research by Anggraini (2021), has an antibacterial activity against Porphyromonas gingivalis. Gum chewing can boost saliva production and reduce bacterial-produced acid. This study aimed to provide an alternative for gingivitis prevention. In general, the three steps of this research are in vitro test, preclinical test, and clinical test. Using the well diffusion method, the antibacterial potential of the cananga flower extract at concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 20%, and 40% was examined. Tetracycline 30 μg was the control (+), while ethanol 96% was the control (-). In preclinical test, Lethal Concentration 50% (LC50) was established using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The clinical test was done using a pretest and posttest control group design method for a week. According to the study's findings, the average inhibition zones were 9.06 mm, 10.53 mm, 12.2 mm, 13.43 mm, and 14.8 mm at doses of 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 20%, and 40%, respectively. Based on the preclinical test, the product material's LC50 is 850.191 ppm. The clinical test showed a decrease in the plaque index of the treatment group by 0.344375. This study concluded that cananga flower extract have antibacterial activity against Porphyromonas gingivalis and cananga flower extract chewing gum has the potential to be effective in preventing and lowering the plaque index that causes gingivitis.

Abstract

The orangutan, a vital component of the rainforest ecosystem, is increasingly threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation. Identifying orangutan nests and feeding trees is an important elements in understanding the habitat's capacity to sustain this species. Using the transect method, this study was conducted on 40 grids out of a total of 623 grids in the Tripa area that are still covered by forest. This study aimed to record the presence of orangutan nests and identify various plant species that serve as food sources for orangutans. The result revealed the discovery of orangutan nests in 7 locations, most of which were categorized as type C (old) and type D (very old). A total of 13 potential orangutan food plant species were found in the Rawa Tripa forest area, consisting of the families Moraceae, Euphorbiaceae, Annonaceae, Myrtaceae, Myristicaceae, Apocynaceae, Piperaceae, Dipterocarpaceae, Urticaceae, and Pandanaceae. This suggest that these areas may have supported a significant orangutan population in the past, but their current activity appears to be declining. The findings underscore the need for conservation efforts, as the continued survival of orangutans is crucial not only for their species but also for the ecological health of the forests they inhabit. Keywords : orangutan, peat swamp forest Tripa, Leuser Ecosystem, nest analysis, habitat loss, conservation
