Abstract

Budaya sekolah merupakan pembiasaan-pembiasaan yang diterapkan di sekolah yang menyesuaikan dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Budaya sekolah sangat berpengaruh pada karakter siswa sehingga budaya posistif harus diaplikasikan dalam setiap tingkat laku dan perbuatan siswa.Budaya sekolah yang sudah termanajemen dengan baik akan menjadi nilai plus dari sebuah lembaga/ sekolah. Apabila Budaya Positif diberlakukan dan sudah diaplikasikan dengan baik, maka akan meminimalisir kenakalan remaja. Karena budaya tersebut sudah menjadi karakter positif siswa. Tim PKM dalam hal ini melakukan pengabdian di SMP dan SMA Islam Nabilah, Batam. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan atau manajemen Budaya Sekolah yang diberlakukan di sekolah. Kegiatan PKm ini duharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengelolaan Budaya Sekolah Dalam Meminimalisir Kenakalan Remaja. Kegiatan PKM diikuti oleh seluruh siswa SMP dan SMA Islam Nabilah, sejumlah 200 siswa, dan 36 guru. Sedang Tim PKM dari kampus yang turun merupakan kolaborasi dari prodi Manajemen, Psikologi dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Batam

Abstract

Local wisdom is an issue that is now widely discussed to integrate into learning including social studies learning. Tiban is one of the arts in East Java which has noble values ​​that can be integrated into social studies learning. This research aims to analyze how to integrate local wisdom in the art of Tiban in social studies learning using a PjBL model. This research used a qualitative approach using literature study methods. Data collection was carried out with the help of search engines. Articles were selected based on the suitability of the theme with a time limit starting from 2019 to 2023. The results were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The study results show that Tiban arts has many noble values that can be integrated into social studies learning include 1) divinity/religiousness, 2) humanity, 3) unity, and 4) deliberation. Integrating these noble values could be used in several philosophical foundations. Coupled with PjBL, it can incorporate process skills. So, transformative social studies learning uses a PjBL model, providing cognitive knowledge and transformation in attitudes and life skills. The results of this research can be used as a basis for developing social studies learning designs that integrate noble values through PjBL

Abstract

Pendidikan Karakter merupakan tujuan dari Pendidikan secara utuh. Dengan karakter yang baik siswa mempunyai potensi yang patut dikambangkan. Salah satu untuk mendukung Pendidikan Karakter adalah Program Kewirausahaan, di mana di dalamnya termuat karakter kerjasama, mandiri dan visioner. Sedang Program Keagamaan merupakan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang mana sarat dengan pendidikan Karakter, seperti : disiplin menjalankan ibadah, pandai bersyukur, ikhlas, kerjasama, menghargai sesama dan sebagainya. Dalam Pelaksanaan PKM Nasional ini, Tim PKM terdiri dari dua Universitas yaitu Universitas Batam dan Universitas Muslim Nusantara al Washliyah, Medan. Selain itu Tim Kelompok 7 dati Tim PKM Nasional ini terdiri dari kolaborasi dari Prodi yang berbeda, yaitu Manajemen dan Kebidanan. Mitra dari Pim PKM adalah SMA Islam Nabilah, Batam. Keseluruhan peserta terdiri dari 8 dosen UMN Medan, 18 dosen Universitas Batam. Dari Mitra terdiri dari 56 siswa SMA Islam Nabilah serta 14 guru. Metode yang dipakai adalah penyampaian materi dari masing-masing kelompok kepada siswa, dan tanya jawab, serta game/permaian edukasi. Harapan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah siswa mendapatkan pengatahuan tentang Pendidikan Karakter : Program Kewirausahaan dan Program Keagamaan sebagai Implemetasi dari Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam dunia Pendidikan perubahan sangat penting, karena Pendidikan harus terus berkembang menjadi lebih baik sesuai dengan tuntutan dan tantangan jaman. Sekolah atau satuan Pendidikan wajib menerapkan manajemen perubahan sehingga tercapai keefektifan dan keefisiensian. Begitupun dengan target belajar Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Peneliti mendeskripsikan temuan-temuan dari fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Bahwasannya sebuah perubahan merupakan sesuatu yang mutlak terjadi di semua aspek, termasuk juga aspek Pendidikan. Dalam hal ini Tim PKM mengadakan pengabdian Masyarakat di Lokasi Sekolah Islam Nabilah, Dutamas, Batam bertujuan untuk mengenalkan Manajemen Perubahan dalam Pencapaian Target Hasil pembelajaran di Sekolah Islam Nabilah. Sasaran dari pengabdian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMP dan SMA Islam Nabilah, karena perubahan harus bersama-sama dilakukan oleh warga sekolah. Pelaksana PKM adalah 4 dosen Universitas Batam dan Universitas Ibnu Sina Batam, serta 4 mahasiswa prodi Manajemen. Pelaksanaan PKM dengan cara mengadakan Sosialisasi terhadap siswa dan guru, yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Januari 2025. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Perubahan, Pencapaian, Target Pembelajaran ABSTRACT Change management according to Lewin consists of the process of Unfreezing (recognizing the need for change), Changing (trying to create new conditions, Refreshing (combining, creating and maintaining change). This study uses a qualitative method. The researcher describes the findings of the phenomena that occur in the field. That a change is something that absolutely happens in all aspects, including the aspect of Education. In this case, the PKM Team held Community Service at the Nabilah Islamic School Location, Dutamas, Batam with the aim of introducing Change Management in Achieving Learning Outcome Targets at the Nabilah Islamic School. The target of this service is teachers and students of Nabilah Islamic Middle and High Schools, because changes must be carried out together by the school community. The PKM implementers are 4 lecturers from Batam University and 4 students of the Management study program. Abstract

Prostitution, the exchange of sexual services for payment, is widely regarded as a significant social issue across many countries, with no clear consensus on the best approach to solve it. However, there is a lack of research on how to solve prostitution impact in society life. This study aims to analysis the Penta helix model as a strategic approach to tackling prostitution and to identify the key of social institutions that play a significant role in resolving the issue. The research used a quantitative methodology with a percentage technique and involves 60 citizens as the sample localized citizen around former Mbaben or Madusari localization. The instrument in this study is a specially designed closed-ended questionnaire to evaluate sample views toward the Penta helix model in solving prostitution strategy by binary Likert scale. The findings show that the Government Sector received the highest level of agreement, the Business Sector ranked second, the Community Sector followed the third, the Mass Media Sector had the fourth, and the last is the Academia Sector. These results indicate that each sector can contribute effectively to a multi-sectoral approach in addressing prostitution, ensuring a more comprehensive and sustainable solution to this complex social issue.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the acceptance level of the warehouse module within the ERP system implemented at CV Kalingga Keling Jati, utilizing the extended UTAUT model. The analyzed variables include performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, trust, behavioral intention, use behavior, and one moderator variable, education. The results indicate that effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, trust, and behavioral intention significantly influence users' intention and behavior in utilizing the warehouse module. However, performance expectancy and the moderator variable education do not show significant influence. This research also highlights the importance of effective warehouse management systems to minimize errors in inventory management and enhance operational efficiency within the company. With the implementation of an ERP system integrated with IoT, CV Kalingga Keling Jati aims to improve user satisfaction and reduce resistance to new technologies. The findings provide insights for other companies considering similar technology adoptions in their warehouse management.Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need for continuous evaluation and adaptation of technology to align with user needs and organizational goals. By understanding user acceptance, organizations can better tailor their systems to enhance productivity and foster a positive technological environment. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors influencing technology acceptance in the business context, particularly in the manufacturing sector, and offers a foundation for future system improvements.

Abstract

Wearable sensor-based activity recognition has become increasingly important in various domains, particularly healthcare and sports. However, a significant challenge in this field is the issue of class imbalance, where minority activity classes are underrepresented compared to majority classes in datasets. This imbalance leads to biased classifiers that struggle to accurately identify rare but critical activities, which is especially problematic in health monitoring scenarios. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to address class imbalance in the mHealth dataset, which contains multi-sensor data from wearable devices placed on the chest, left ankle, and right lower arm. We employ the XGBoost classifier combined with SMOTE oversampling to improve recognition performance for minority classes. Model evaluation is conducted using precision, recall, F1-score, Area Under the Precision-Recall Curve (AUC-PR), ROC curve, and calibration analysis. The results demonstrate that applying SMOTE improves minority class recall from 0.75 to 0.85 and F1-score from 0.796 to 0.865, despite a slight decrease in overall accuracy from 97% to 96.5%. The AUC-PR also increases from 0.81 to 0.88, indicating a better balance in detecting minority and majority classes. Calibration curves reveal that probability estimates still require refinement to be more reliable for decision-making. This study confirms the efficacy of SMOTE in mitigating class imbalance in wearable sensor-based activity recognition and provides valuable insights for developing more accurate and fair health monitoring systems.

Abstract

Professional development of functional positions of education staff at the State University of Surabaya to State Universities with Legal Entities ( PTNBH ) are important studies considering that the output is Unesa's HR in accordance with the mandate of the Statute and UNESA's SOTK as PTNBH. Meanwhile, the objective of this research is to analyze the needs and professional development of the functional positions of educational staff needed in accordance with SOTK UNESA PTNBH. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are through questionnaires, FGDs, and workshops. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques with the SPSS program, qualitative analysis, and pattern analysis to formulate conclusions and formulate recommendations. The results of this study show; (1) it is necessary to increase the understanding of the Permenpan RB which regulates the functional positions; (2) most of them require training in the preparation of research proposals, writing scientific papers for translation and adaptation of books, in order to fulfill the components of professional development credit properly; (3) most have not had the opportunity to participate in research from the institution. There is great hope for them, the institution has a policy in research management; (4) some of them have assignments that are not in accordance with their functional positions, so this makes it difficult for them to fulfill professional development credit scores.

Abstract

Revitalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila di tingkat komunitas menjadi isu krusial di tengah gejala melemahnya partisipasi sosial generasi muda. Desa Pesu, yang pernah menyandang predikat Kampung Pancasila, mengalami tantangan dalam mempertahankan nilai-nilai ideologis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kembali internalisasi Pancasila melalui pengembangan komunitas belajar berbasis Karang Taruna. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-reflektif dengan kegiatan utama berupa seminar kebhinekaan, pelatihan kepemimpinan, dan pembentukan komunitas belajar Pancasila di setiap dusun. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman nilai Pancasila, munculnya ruang-ruang diskusi interaktif, serta aktivitas konkret yang merefleksikan gotong royong dan toleransi antarwarga. Komunitas belajar juga memanfaatkan media digital untuk mendiseminasikan nilai Pancasila secara kontekstual. Program ini mendorong kolaborasi antara pemuda, pemerintah desa, dan lembaga pendidikan dalam membangun tata kelola desa yang berkeadilan dan partisipatif. Keberhasilan program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis komunitas efektif dalam menghidupkan kembali nilai-nilai ideologis secara organik dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini penting sebagai model replikasi bagi desa lain yang menghadapi krisis identitas kebangsaan di era disrupsi nilai.
