Abstract

Nomenclature changes in public institutions often create significant challenges for organizational effectiveness, particularly in aligning tasks, redistributing human resources, and maintaining the quality of public services. This condition is also experienced by the Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Office of Riau Islands, which faces structural complexities following institutional restructuring. This study aims to analyze the organizational performance after the nomenclature change using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach. The research employed a qualitative method with in-depth interviews involving key informants directly engaged in management and quarantine services. Data were analyzed through thematic coding with the assistance of NVivo software, allowing each BSC perspective to be comprehensively examined. The findings reveal that from the financial perspective, budget management is relatively efficient but still requires optimization in transparency and accountability. From the customer perspective, there is an increase in satisfaction and trust in quarantine services, showing that restructuring has strengthened public service delivery. The internal process perspective indicates positive adaptation to the new structure, although challenges remain in terms of uneven human resource distribution and regulatory adjustments. Meanwhile, the learning and growth perspective underscores the importance of continuous staff development and the integration of information technology to build an adaptive work culture. Overall, the Balanced Scorecard proves to be an effective evaluation instrument for assessing public sector performance, while also providing policy implications in terms of strengthening financial governance, redistributing human resources, and modernizing internal processes to enhance efficiency, accountability, and public service quality.

Abstract

Effective IT service management must combine operational excellence with seamless user experience in today's digital era. This paper introduces the Deployment and Integration Framework for Assessment (DIFA), a conceptual model that integrates the System Usability Scale (SUS) within the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework. ITIL offers a structured approach to aligning IT services with business objectives, while SUS provides reliable usability measurements from the user's perspective. By embedding SUS assessments throughout ITIL's lifecycle—spanning service strategy, design, transition, operation, and continual improvement—DIFA enables organizations to evaluate and enhance IT services' usability systematically. This integration bridges the gap between process efficiency and user satisfaction, supporting informed decision-making, improved service adoption, and better alignment with user needs. The findings highlight the strategic value of combining usability evaluation with ITIL's best practices, offering a sustainable and scalable pathway for organizations to deliver IT services that are both technically robust and intuitively user-friendly.

Abstract

The study aims to recognize the urgency of comprehensive sexuality education, the implementation of comprehensive sexuality education in the curriculum, and the integration of comprehensive sexuality education through sociological learning in schools. The study uses a qualitative approach with literary analysis techniques. The study used relevant literature from books and national and international journals related to material on CSE—Comprehensive Sexuality Education—and adolescent sexual behavior. The results of the analysis showed that comprehensive sexuality education gives adolescents the strength to exercise their rights, avoid unplanned pregnancies, build relationships that respect each other, and value equality, respect, consent, and diversity. It also helps address issues such as violence against women and girls and patriarchal dominance. Comprehensive sexuality education can be integrated with sociological learning in schools to examine topics related to sexuality, gender discrimination, consent, stereotypes, and gender-based violence. Schools need to implement it through curricula and equip teachers with training, involving parents and the community. The implications of this study are to provide an understanding of the importance of comprehensive sexual education to policymakers and the general public in order to minimize the negative impact of pre-sexual behavior on adolescents

Abstract

The study examines user sentiment on the Indodax cryptocurrency trading platform using pre-trained Indonesian language models for sentiment analysis. A dataset of 25,000 user reviews was analyzed, revealing that most reviews expressed neutral sentiment, with positive sentiments accounting for 20% and negative sentiments under 4%. The sentiment classification models used include Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression, and Naive Bayes. SVM achieved the highest predictive accuracy at 94.22%, followed by Logistic Regression at 93.62%. These models classified sentiments based on TF-IDF feature extraction, highlighting SVM's effectiveness in sentiment classification within the user reviews. Additionally, sentiment trends over time were analyzed, showing fluctuations in user satisfaction corresponding with market events and platform changes, emphasizing the importance of maintaining platform stability during high volatility. The study’s findings suggest actionable improvements for Indodax, such as addressing user concerns that lead to negative sentiments, like customer service and technical issues, while reinforcing platform strengths, such as ease of use. These insights enable Indodax to enhance user satisfaction and retention by monitoring sentiment trends and adjusting features accordingly. However, the study faces limitations due to the use of pre-trained models that may not fully capture Indonesian language nuances and the absence of demographic data, which limits the analysis to general sentiment trends. Future research could incorporate demographic insights and user behavior metrics to offer a more personalized understanding of user sentiment, ultimately aiding Indodax in delivering a more tailored and satisfying user experience.
