Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to isolation and identification of bacteria market organic waste Pekanbaru city om march-June 2016. Result of the research use for make a material learning design the form student worksheet in biologi SMA. The research conducted with 2 phase namely experimental research and design or material learning the from student worksheet. Method of the research is purvosive sampling method wich set sampel taked location based on waste spread. Identification of bacteria wich macroscopis observation is cell shape, edge cell and colour cell wall bacteria, gram colour, and Biohchemical test. Result of research showed 10 genus bacteria found from 4 market Pekanbaru city, 10 genus of bacteri consist of genus Enterobacter, Streptococcus, Streptomyces, Holobacterium, Proteus, Eschericia, Neisseria, Pseudomonas, Klebseilla and Bacillus. Result og the reseasch isolation and identification of bacteria market organic waste Pekanbaru city can use as material learning design the from student worksheet on eubacteria matter biology SMA.Keywords: Isolation, Identification, Bacteria, Waste, Design, Student Worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: This study tried to determine the growth of bacteria Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-10 at different pH concentrations in degrading diesel fuel as a poster’s media design for Biology subject in high school. Research was carried out in FKIP PMIPA laboratory, Riau University. As for the TPH testing, it was conducted in the solid waste laboratory and B3 Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Bandung Institute of Teknology. This research was conducted in 2 stages, namely research on the growth of the bacteria Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-10 at different pH in degrading diesel fuel and the stage of potential analysis and design of poster as a learning media from the research results. This research was conducted in November 2019 - June 2020. The study was designed with a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 replication groups. The media used were SMSS media with the addition of variations in pH 6.5, pH 7.0, pH 7.5, which added 5% diesel fuel and the bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-10. The test parameter was the OD growth of Bacillus cereus bacteria Strain IMB-10 which was seen using a spectrophotometer for 6 days measuring. Meanwhile in measuring the degradation rate (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon) TPH of diesel fuel the Gravimetric method used. Based on the research, it was found that pH 7.0 was the best pH for the growth of Bacillus cereus bacteria Strain IMB-10 with a bacterial growth OD of 5.8 A on day 5 and a degradation rate of diesel fuel of 26.95%. Based on the analysis of the potential results of experimental research, it can be used as a learning media design for Biology posters on bacteria theory in class X Senior High School. Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the bacteria characteristicsof oil sludge waste in the area of PT Pertamina, Lirik district and its potential toproduce student worksheet designs with subject characteristics of bacteria in class XSMA KD 3.5 and 4.5. This research was conducted from December 2018 to March2019 at the Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau. Thisstudy used two stages the first stage of research using qualitative descriptive todetermine the characteristics of bacteria in oil sludge waste. The parameters of thisstudy are characteristics of bacteria isolated from samples of oil sludge waste in LirikDistrict through macroscopic observations (colony shape, colony margin, colony color,and colony elevation), and microscopic (gram stain and cell shape). Phase II researchis the design of student worksheet teaching subject that uses two stages, those areanalysis and design stages. The results showed that the bacteria found had thecharacteristics of round, irregular, and filamentous. The elevations found are raised,flat, and umbonate. The margin of the colonies found were flat and lobate. The colors ofthe colonies found were white and yellow. The most common form of cells found wasrods, the most common gram found was gram negative. And the most common cell colorfound is purple. The results of this study can be used as a learning resource in the formof a student worksheet design for the subject characteristics of bacteria class of X inHigh School.Key Words : Isolation, Characteristics, Worksheets

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of poster design in class X bacterial high school learning material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Riau University in November 2019-februari 2021. This research was conducted in 2 stages: the experimental stage and the second stage is Poster Design that is analysis of the potential development of high school learning media Bacteria class X material. The study used an experimental method of descriptive qualitative research design. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that lypolitic bacteria isolated from palm oil mill effluent can be used as a poster design of class X bacterial material for SMA 3.5 KD.Key Words: Poster, Bacteria

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce a scientific literacy-based Student Worksheet on quality material for the Class XI High School Respiration System. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau, SMAN 1 Pekanbaru and SMAN 8 Pekanbaru in October-February 2021. The type of research used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE research model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In this study, researchers only reached the development stage. The data collection instruments were in the form of validation sheets and respondent questionnaires. The results of the validation of the Student Worksheet based on scientific literacy on the Respiration System material for class XI SMA are at an average value of 3.75 with a very valid category. The result of the limited trial score I was 3.60 with a very good category. The result of the limited trial score II was 3.69 with a very good category. Thus, the scientific literacy-based Student Worksheet on the Respiration System material for class XI SMA has been successfully developed with very good quality and can be implemented on a wider scale. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the Booklet design in high school learning on bacterial material for class X. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Campus, Riau University in December 2020 - January 2021. This study was carried out with the ADDIE design, namely the analysis and design stages. Booklet design in the form of an analysis of the potential development of learning media for high school bacteria material class X Semester I. The research uses an experimental method with a quantitative descriptive type of research. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that the bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-11 has the ability to biodegrader against used lubricating oil, which can be used as a booklet design for class X bacteria in SMA KD 3.5 and KD 4.5.Key Words: Booklet, Bacteria Material.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to design a Pocket Book of Basidiomycota Mushrooms for Class X Biology learning with Fungi as a learning resource in the form of a pocket book. This research was carried out at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University in September – November 2021. The basics in the stages of designing this pocket book are the Curriculum analysis stage and the pocket book design stage. The curriculum analysis stage is carried out by reviewing the 2013 curriculum and analyzing learning materials. The pocket book design stage is carried out by designing the syllabus and lesson plans first then the pocket book design is carried out, where the pocket book design consists of a cover, preface, table of contents, curriculum level, introduction, contents, and bibliography. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative where the method used is a survey method. Based on the results of the potential analysis, there are 29 types of Basidiomycota Mushrooms in the Arboretum Area, Riau University which can be used as a pocket book design on Fungi material in Biology learning class X SMA.Key Words: Pocket Book, Learning Media, Basidiomycota

Abstract

Zat goniotalamin pada tanaman gajah beranak (Goniothalamus tapis) merupakan obat alternatif penyembuhan kanker. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan zat goniotalamin melalui kultur kalus dan kultur suspensi sel. Metode penelitian eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan kombinasi 2,4-D (1-10 mgL-1) dan BAP (0,5-2 mgL-1) menggunakan eksplan batang muda, terdiri dari 17 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variances dan uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kultur kalus G. tapis pada media 5,0 mg L-1 2,4-D + 1 mg L-1 BAP adalah yang terbaik dengan waktu muncul kalus 28,33 hari dan persentase pembentukan kalus 100%. Kalus untuk kultur suspensi sel bertekstur remah dan berwarna kuning kehijauan. Kultur suspensi sel menghasilkan pertumbuhan sel yang cepat, tidak lembek berair dan mudah dipisahkan. Hasil kualitatif Kromatografi Lapis Tipis kultur suspensi sel sangat jelas, bersih dan terdapat potensi kandungan zat goniotalamin pada perlakuan 2,4-D 5 mg L-1 + BAP 0,5 mg L-1, 2,4-D 5 mg L-1 + BAP 1 mg L-1, 2,4-D 5 mg L-1 + BAP 2 mg L-1, 2,4-D 10 mg L-1 + BAP 0,5 mg L-1 dan 2,4-D 10 mg L-1 + BAP 1 mg L-1. Hasil kuantitatif zat goniotalamin dengan Kromatografi Cair Prestasi Tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan 2,4-D 5,0 mgL-1 + BAP 1 mg L-1 yaitu 9,57 mg g-1.The goniothalamine compound on Goniothalamus tapis is an alternative cancer medicine. This study aimed to obtain gonotalamin through callus culture and suspension cell culture. The experiment research method was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a combination of 2.4-D (1-10 mg L-1) and BAP (0.5-2 mg L-1) using young stem explants consisting of 17 treatments with 3 replications. Data analysis used ANOVA and DMRT at 5%. The results showed that G. tapis callus culture on 5.0 mg L-1 2.4-D + 1 mg L-1 BAP was the best treatment medium with callus emergence time of 28.33 days and percentage of callus formation 100%. The callus used for suspension cell culture was friable and greenish-yellow in color. Suspension cell culture resulted in rapid cell growth, was not fleshy, and easily separated. The  quality test by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) from suspension cell culture resulted very clear, clean, and potential content of goniothalamin found in treatments 2.4-D 5.0 mg L-1 + BAP 0.5 mg L-1, 2.4-D 5.0 mg L-1 + BAP 1 mg L-1, 2.4-D 5.0 mg L-1 + BAP 2 mg L-1, 2.4-D 10 mg L-1 + BAP 0.5 mg-1 and 2.4-D 10 mg-1 + BAP 1 mg-1. The quantitative results of the best goniotalamine compounds in cell suspension cultures using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) on medium 2,4-D 5.0 mgL-1 + BAP 1 mg L-1 ie 9.57 g-1.

Abstract

This study was aimed to improve the scientific attitudes andlearning outcomes of students in learning Biology by applying the “5ELearning Cycle”teaching modelinXIScience 4 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaruin the academic year of 2011/2012. The study was conducted from Septemberto October2011. The subjects of the research were the students of XI Science4 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru, totaling 39 people. The parameters measuredwere the students’ scientific attitudes, students’ learning outcomes, students’and teacher’sactivities. In the first cycle the average of students’ scientificattitudeswas69.73% (Fair), and it wasincreasedin the second cycle up to84.75% (Good). Moreover, the students’ capability in comprehending thematerials givenin the first cyclewas76.95 (Less), and it was increased upto82.90in the second cycle (Enough).On the other side, the students’mastery,seeing from their post-testin the first cyclewas64.11% (Mastering)and35.89% (Not Mastering), and it was increasedin the second cycletobe84.61%(Mastering) and15.39% (Not Mastering). The activitiesof1studentsin the first cyclewas63.01% (Fair), and it wasincreasedin the secondcycleup to81.94% (Good). All of the teachers’ activitiesin the firstcyclewiththeaverage of 91.67% (Good) increasedin the second cycletobe100% (Excellent). Therefore, it can be concluded from this research thatthe application of5ELearning Cycleteaching model was successfullyimprovedthe scientific attitudes and learning out comes of studentsin learningBiology at XIScience 4 of SMAN 5Pekanbaruin the academic yearof2011/2012.
