Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to find growth response Eleusina indica on petroleum contaminated soil which used for handout design in growth and development materials in senior high school grade XII, which was conducted in September 2018 until February 2019. This research used an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Parameters used include vegetative growth of plants crops shoots number, stem height, leaf length and biomass of plant then degradation rate (%) TPH. The data of growth response Eleusina indica on petroleum contaminated soil with total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) concentration which differences were an analysis of variance (ANOVA) continued Duncan's test if there are significant differences. While for handout design is done with two stages, namely analyze stage and design stage. The result showed that the Eleusina indica plant was able to grow on petroleum contaminated soil which can be seen of vegetative growth response. Besides, the Eleusina indica plant has the ability to degrade TPH with a percentage of 0,202-0,821%. It was concluded that Eleusina indica plant was able to well adapt to petroleum contaminated soil. The result of this research was further developed into handout in growth and development materials in senior high school grade XII.Key Words : Growth, Eleusina indica, Fitoremediation, Petroleum contaminated soil, Handout.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of interviews and observations that have been implemented by researchers teachers rarely use model cooperative learning, student learning outcomes and low it can be known from the students who completely individually on the KKM 75 IE 67,64%. Therefore carried out the renovation of the learning by applying cooperative learning to improve the learning outcomes of students in SMK ROKAN Bagansiapiapi. One type of cooperative learning, i.e. Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This research was conducted in class X SCIENCE (accounting) SMK Rokan Bagansiapiapi the academic year 2015/2016 to know improvements learn IPA students by applying cooperative learning model type STAD. This research is a research action class is done in two cycles, which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collected in this study is the student learning which consists of absorption, learning, student activities and teacher activities. The data collected using the test and the observation sheet. Absorption based on the value of the post test on cycle I rise on post test 1 is 71.14% (less) become 97.40% (very good) on the post test 2 and in cycle II, the average post test 1 94.53 (very good) became 96.36 (very good) on the post test 2. student learning based on Deuteronomy I cycle daily i.e. 72.12% (less) and cycle II increased to 82.12% (good). Group Award at the cycle I, 2 groups and 2 super group the predicate predicate excellent and good Group 2. In cycle II, all predicate good. Learning activities of students at the time of discussing with the application of cooperative learning model type STAD cycle 1 rise in cycle I, namely 67.87% (less) increased to 82.12% (good) in cycle II. The activity of the teacher in the process of teaching and learning on a cycle I was 87,83%, (good) and cycle II is 95.83% (very good). It can be concluded that the application of the model of the pembelaaran cooperative type STAD can improve the learning results of IPA students class X SCIENCE (accounting) years 2016 2015/Lessons.Key words: Cooperative Learning, Learning Outcomes, Kooperati type of Student Teams achievement award Division (STAD)

Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to determine the isolation and identification of bacteria petroleum waste in public refueling stations (gas stations) and its potential as a learning module design in high school biology in March and April 2016. The results are used for designing learning modules on subjects biology. This research was conducted in two stages: stage of field research and design phase of learning modules. This research is descriptive and conducted by examination in the laboratory. The sampling technique in this study, done by using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the isolated bacteria found in soil or sand contaminated petroleum waste in the form of a spill or spills of gasoline at gas stations COCO 11,282,604 Pekanbaru and gas stations 14,284,623 Panam consists of three genera namely the genus Bacillus, Micrococcus and Pseudomonas, whereas isolates bacteria found in soil / sand contaminated with petroleum waste in the form of a spill or spills of diesel at gas stations COCO 11,282,604 Pekanbaru and gas stations 14,284,623 Panam consists of four genera namely the genus Bacillus, Citrobacter, Enterobacter, and Micrococcus. Abstract

Abstract: The study was conducted to identification of bacteria on the tomato sauce which used by grilled meatballs seller around the University of Riau as design module biology learning in senior high school in March and April 2016. The results are used for designing learning modules on subjects biology. This research was conducted in two stages: stage of laboratory research and design phase of learning modules. This research is descriptive and conducted by examination in the laboratory. The sampling technique in this study, done by using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the isolated bacteria found in tomato sauce before uses consists of three genera namely the genus Bacillus, Enterobacter  and Pseudomonas. The isolated bacteria found in tomato sauce after uses consists of three genera namely the genus Bacillus, Enterobacter  and Pseudomonas. The results of this study can be used as a learning module design in high school biology in order to enrich the teaching materials on the concept of bacterial characteristics eubacteria.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the presence of the bacteria Escherichia coli on grilled meatball snacks in schools of all Tampan districts in Pekanbaru city in April-May 2016. This research is an descriptive study was conducted with the 2 phases i.e. phase test the bacteria Escherichia coli in the lab and phase student worksheets design. The samples are taken by random purposive sampling method are purchased from 15 traders in different schools is soul around Tampan districts Pekanbaru city based on criteria that assigned and using the method Most Probable Number (MPN) with three stages of the test which consists of presumtive test, confirmative test and complete test using different growing media and incubated at 37oC temperature during 2x24 hours. The results obtained that from 15 samples examined obtained 11 samples contaminated by Escherichia coli. Research results are then used as material enrichment on teaching biology in senior high school class X on the Eubacteria material in the form of a student worksheets design.Key words: Escherichia coli, Grilled Meatball, Student Worksheet Design.

Abstract

Abstract : this study is a class action research which was conducted in twocycles, the subject of this study was 39 tenth grade students in X.1AK SMK FarmasiIkasari Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016, it aimed to increasestudent science skillprocess by applied model discovery learning and assessment authentic.Researchprocedureconsist of plan, action and observation, and reflection. Data was collected inthis research was science skill process in three domain those were cognitive, affectiveand psychomotor.The data was collected using test and observation. In addition to dataof science process skills , there are also the result of the application of authenticassessment that the reference assessment intact in the application of this model . Theresults showed that each domain process skills increased.Science skill process incognitive aspect that was seen from test result in cycle I was 82 (enough) and increasein cycle II, that was 86 (good).The students passing studying in cycle I was 32 (82,05%)and increased in cycle II became 38 (97,43%). The average of affective aspect in cycle Iwas 73 (less) increased in cycle II that was 86 (good). Science skill process inpsychomotor aspect was 70 (enough) in cycle I and became 86 (good) in cycle II. Thoseresults proved that the implementation ofmodel discovery learning and authenticassessment was able to increase the student science skill process in class X.1AK SMKFarmasi Ikasari Pekanbaru academic year 2015/2016..Key words : Model Discovery Learning, Assessment Authentic, Science Skill Process

Abstract

Abstract : The research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of garlic’s extract (Allium sativum) concentration on the bacterial growth and its quality on the Iridescent Shark (Pangasius sp) for the design of student worksheet done in June 2016. This research was carried out in two stages: the field research and the stage of designing student’s worksheet (LKS). The experimental research was conducted by using Complete Randomized Sampling (RAL) factorial, the first factor was garlics extract consisting of 4 treatments and the second factor was the storage duration consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications so that there were 48 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed include Total Plate Count (TPC) and organoleptic values that include appearance, odor and texture. The results showed that the concentration of garlic’s extract had an effect on the growth of the number of bacterial colonies. Where the growth of bacterial colony amounts occurs at treatment of BP3L1 (4.69 x 105). While the most preferred organoleptic test of panelists is the concentration of garlic’s extract (Allium sativum) 20% with the duration of storage time of six hours shows the best quality to the appearance (eyes, gills, surface mucus, meat), odor and texture. The results of the research are used as the design of student worksheet (LKS) on biology subject in high school.Keywords : Garlic, Iridescent Shark, Students Worksheet (LKS)

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the identification of Coliform bacteria in the ice cubes and ice crystals used fruit sellers and stalls as potential learning module design Biology at a high school in May to June 2016. The research was conducted in two stage laboratory research and design stage of learning modules. This type of research is descriptive and conducted by examination in the laboratory. Sampling technique in this study, done by using purposive sampling method. The results showed that the isolated bacteria found in ice cube consists of five genera, namely Bacillus sp, Pseudomonas, Enterobacter, Citrobacter, and Micrococcus while on ice crystals found in four genera, namely genus Bacillus sp, Enterobacter, Citrobacter and Micrococcus. Based on the analysis of the potential of the research result can be used as the development of the concept Eubacteria module design for high school student.Keywords: Coliform, Ice Cube, Ice Crystal, Module Design

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to produce student working sheet based on scramble learning model for the chapter of living organization system on Science subject in class VII of junior high school. This development research was conducted at Laboratoryof Biology Education Departement of PMIPA Facult of Teaching And education University of Riau and SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on March to june 2017. Research type that used this development research refer into Research and Development approach by using ADDIE model that has 5 steps (analyze, design, development, implement, evaluate). This research was done until development step only. Instument that used is validation sheet and respondent cuesionary, next it was held a limited test to 15 people Biology Education Study and 25 7th grade pipils in SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. Research data was analyzed by using descriptive. Analysist on come of LKPD based by scramble learning model for the chapt of living organization system was seen by 3 aspects, content feasibility aspect, planning aspect, and pedagogical aspect. Validity value LKPD based by scramble learning model in content feasibility aspect was 3,14 with valid category, validity value in planning aspect was 3,22 with valid category, whereas validity value in pedagogical aspect was 3,08 with category valid. Response learners by pupil on LKPD based by scramble learning model was categoryzed into very good with 3,34 score.Key Words: Development, Student Worksheet, Scramble Learning Model

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of temperature on the growth of Bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-10 in degrading diesel fuel. This research was carried out in the UR FKIP PMIPA laboratory to determine how the effectiveness of temperature on the growth of Bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-10 in degrading diesel fuel and measuring the level of degradation of TPH (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons) for diesel fuel which was carried out at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering ITB. The research was conducted in November 2019 - June 2020. This research was descriptive with an experimental method, the research design used was a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 repetitions, the media used was SMSS media with different temperature variations, namely temperatures of 310C, 340C , 370C and 400C then added 5% diesel fuel and bacterial isolate Bacillus cereus strain IMB-10. The parameters tested were Optical Dencity (turbidity level) growth of Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-10 spectrophotometer and measurement of the degradation rate (Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons) TPH which consisted of 2 steps, namely measuring the initial TPH and final TPH using the gravimetric method. Based on the results of the study, the temperature of 340C is an effective temperature for the growth of the bacteria Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-10 with the highest OD value on day 5 of 3.6 A and a reduction in the level of diesel fuel degradation by 35.91%.
