Abstract

Determining teaching methods is very important, because the success or failure of achieving teaching objectives depends on how the teaching and learning process is structured and carried out effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine and analyze the process of implementing teaching methods with students' perceptions of the methods used by fiqh subject teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The population and sample of this research is one fiqh teacher and 4 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang. 2 students consisting of 1 male, 1 female from class IX IPA 5, 2 students consisting of 1 male and 1 female student from class IX IPS 2. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Abstract

Character education in elementary school children has a very important role in shaping children's personality and morals from an early age. Some of the strategies described include the integration of character values in the curriculum, the development of a supportive school environment, and the active role of teachers and parents in the formation of children's character. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several elementary schools in Indonesia. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and document analysis. The results show that strengthening character education in elementary school children requires close cooperation between schools, families and communities. Factors such as school leadership, school culture and parental involvement are very influential in this process. In conclusion, character education should be an integral part of the basic education system to produce a generation that has strong character, integrity and is able to face future challenges. The implication of this study is the need for improved policies and more effective practices in supporting the strengthening of character education in primary schools.

Problems can be experienced by anyone, not only adults, children can also experience problems. Problem solving skills are the most important thing in the learning process, with problem solving skills can help students' daily lives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the theory of cognitive development by Jean Piaget on the problem-solving ability of elementary / MI students. The sources of data used in this study are books, journals, articles, and other scientific works. The data collection technique is Literature Study. The results of this study show that the application of Piaget's theory of cognitive development can contribute to the problem-solving ability of elementary / MI students. Different stages of cognitive development affect students' ability to solve problems in different ways. Abstract

Inappropriate learning media makes it difficult for students to obtain good learning results. So, teachers must better understand and apply more varied learning media. This research aims to determine the effect of using smart card media on learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects in class III MIN 2 Palembang. The research method carried out in this research uses a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi-Experimental Research or quasi-experimental research as well as a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The samples in this study were students in class III G as the experimental class with a total of 28 students and class III D as the control class with a total of 27 students. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Data validity testing is carried out by testing data validity and reliability testing. The results of this research indicate that the application of smart card media to student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects is classified as very good. The experimental class obtained an average of 86.78 while the control class obtained an average of 80. The learning outcomes of the experimental class that applied smart card media were higher than the control class that did not apply smart card media. The results of research and data analysis obtained a significant value, namely 0.013 < 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of smart card media on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The effort to shape students' character is to revitalize the values of local wisdom in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the importance of the philosophy of life of the Lampung people (Piil Pesenggiri) in forming environmental-based characters in elementary school students. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were the principal, 5 teachers, 18 students in grade 2, 20 students in grade 4, and 17 students in grade 5. Data was obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study are as follows. First, the values of the Piil Pesenggiri are not the priority values that are implemented. Second, in theory, the importance of Piil Pesenggiri is only intensely implemented in Lampung language subjects in high grades. In practice, Piil Pesenggiri's values are integrated throughout the curriculum. Third, the character of the students is quite good. However, students need to be made aware that the values practiced are part of the values of the Pesenggiri Piil. The knowledge and appreciation of students regarding the importance of the Pesenggiri Piil still need to improve, even strangers to the term Pesenggiri Piil as a reference for morality or the original character of the people of Lampung. Implementing Piil Pesenggiri values in practice will only fully shape students' character if accompanied by intense knowing and feeling.

Abstract

The acquisition of learning outcomes of Indonesian students in PISA in 2019 occupies the bottom 6 out of 77 countries, the latest PISA results in 2023 also show aligned results where they occupy the bottom 15 of 88 countries where the subject matter begins to emerge from the elementary / MI level. This study aims to examine how much influence the talking stick method has on students' learning outcomes, especially at the elementary / MI level. The research method used is a quantitative meta-analysis type with a comparison of group contrast design. The population in the study was 191 articles from the Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Research Gate databases. The sampling technique is an inclusion criterion. The number of samples used is 10 articles that fit the criteria. The effect of all studies was 1,633 for studies with a sample of < 30 of 1,576 and a sample of > 30 of 1,727 and a P-value hypothesis test result of 0.001. Based on this, the author concludes that the talking stick learning method has a  significant effect and has a huge effect on influencing the learning outcomes of elementary / MI students, especially used when the number of students is> 30. So that this method can be a solution to overcoming the problem of obtaining student learning outcomes in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between classroom teacher leadership as extracurricular coaches, teacher professionalism, and student learning outcomes at SD Islam Cendikia Faiha. The research aims to explore how these factors contribute to students' academic success. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires from 15 classroom teachers who also serve as extracurricular coaches. The data were analyzed using product moment multivariate correlation to determine the strength and significance of relationships between variables. Findings reveal a positive correlation between teacher leadership in extracurricular coaching and student learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.57. Additionally, teacher professionalism also shows a positive relationship with student learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.53. The multiple correlation analysis confirms a significant combined effect of these two independent variables on student learning outcomes (Fcount 7.78 > Ftable 3.89). These results highlight the crucial role of teacher leadership and professionalism in fostering student academic achievement. The study underscores the importance of empowering teachers with leadership skills and professional development opportunities, especially in extracurricular settings, to enhance student learning experiences. Future research could further explore these relationships in broader educational contexts to validate and extend the findings.
