Abstract

In the era of globalization, we are faced with erratic changes, like fishermen on the "high seas" who can mislead if they do not have a "compass" as a guide and act to sail it. This has resulted in a non-linear relationship between education and employment. Canva learning, at this stage, observations or observations will be carried out in the field regarding the obstacles experienced by the teacher when carrying out learning in class, especially when teaching the topic of procedure text material. Because what happens in the workforce is difficult for the world of education to follow, this activity method is carried out in community service activities for the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI). They are namely conducting workshops on making learning media to support teaching and learning activities using the Canva application, which is carried out online. Offline at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the results of the activities can be concluded, and the teacher understands the development of using the Canva application. The results show that using digital-based media has never been done with several contributing factors—learning trends in the 21st-century demand learning resources that are unlimited in number. As the initial foundation for students to understand knowledge and technology, elementary schools need to instill the importance of using media in both the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka Learning curriculum, whose aim is to increase interest and results. Abstract

Determining teaching methods is very important, because the success or failure of achieving teaching objectives depends on how the teaching and learning process is structured and carried out effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine and analyze the process of implementing teaching methods with students' perceptions of the methods used by fiqh subject teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The population and sample of this research is one fiqh teacher and 4 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang. 2 students consisting of 1 male, 1 female from class IX IPA 5, 2 students consisting of 1 male and 1 female student from class IX IPS 2. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that teachers' teaching methods have an important role in creating effective and enjoyable learning experiences for students. Varied and innovative methods, such as those used by a teacher at MAN 2 Palembang, can increase student enthusiasm and creativity. However, several obstacles arise, especially related to the limitations of learning media, especially in the context of online learning. Solutions to improve the quality of learning include forming teacher deliberation groups, discussions between teachers, regular training, and improvements to technological infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Make a Match instructional method on student learning outcomes in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the research was conducted with a sample of 47 fifth-grade students at Madrasah ibtidaiyah Ahliyah II Palembang. The experimental group consisted of 23 students from class VD, while the control group included 24 students from class VE. Data collection methods included tests, classroom observations, and documentation. The test instruments were subjected to validity and reliability testing, as well as item difficulty and discrimination index analysis. Data were analyzed using an Independent Samples t-test. The findings indicate the following: (1) Prior to the implementation of the Make a Match method, only 3 students (13%) in the experimental group achieved mastery, while 20 students (86.9%) did not. (2) After the intervention, 16 students (69.6%) in the experimental group reached the mastery level, with 7 students (30.3%) remaining below the threshold. (3) In the control group, which did not receive the intervention, only 7 students (29.2%) achieved mastery, while 17 students (70.7%) did not. (4) Hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. These results support the conclusion that the Make a Match learning method has a positive and significant impact on student achievement in Aqidah Akhlak, particularly in enhancing mastery of moral and religious concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to identify teachers' beliefs and analyze their praxis in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as to examine the impact of teacher beliefs on their praxis in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Class II at SD Negeri 91 Palembang. The research design used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources in this study consist of the school principal, the Class II homeroom teacher, and several Class II students. The collected data were analyzed through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teacher beliefs regarding the Merdeka Curriculum implementation indicate that teachers generally have a positive belief in understanding the Merdeka Curriculum, although challenges still exist, such as limited understanding of the essence of the Merdeka Curriculum, a lack of continuous training, and difficulties in developing assessments that align with the principles of differentiated learning. Teachers' praxis in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum shows efforts to apply differentiated and project-based learning, but it has not been fully consistent. Teachers still tend to use conventional methods and lack confidence in the new approaches.

This study aims to explore the potential application of the discovery learning method in internalizing the values of religious moderation in Indonesian language learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Ogan Ilir. Motivated by the importance of religious moderation in the context of socio-cultural diversity in Indonesia, this study uses a qualitative approach with data taken from interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation, technique triangulation, and method triangulation. The data analysis techniques applied include initial data processing, coding, and data analysis. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning method was effective in improving students' understanding of the values of religious moderation as well as their active involvement in the learning process. Students are trained to appreciate diversity and develop tolerant and empathetic attitudes during interactive learning activities. In addition, the study highlighted the need to strengthen an inclusive curriculum and provide teachers with training to integrate religious moderation into their teaching consistently. The results are expected to contribute to the development of better character education in Indonesia and recommend the application of active learning methods to create a generation that is tolerant and inclusive of differences. The study suggests that further exploration be conducted in various madrasahs to understand the long-term impact of this method.

Abstract

Student activeness in the learning process is one of the key indicators that supports learning success. At MI Al-Awwal Palembang, teachers strive to create an interactive learning atmosphere through the implementation of various learning models, one of which is the cooperative learning model of the talking stick type. This study aims to describe the implementation of the talking stick cooperative learning model, the students’ learning activeness, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors during the learning process. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were 26 students of class V.A and a teacher of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The findings indicate that the implementation of the talking stick cooperative learning model successfully created a participatory and engaging learning environment, in which students became more active in expressing their opinions, answering questions, and collaborating in groups. The supporting factors for the success of this model include the teacher’s communication skills, the availability of facilities such as the stick and speaker, and the students’ enthusiasm. However, challenges were found in classroom management, such as a less conducive atmosphere during the stick relay activity, which requires further attention and improvement. Overall, the implementation of the talking stick cooperative learning model has had a positive impact on increasing students’ learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education.
