Abstract

The aim is to ascertain the in vivo antioxidant activity of beligo fruit flesh ethanol extract based on the measurement of malondialdehyde levels in Wistar male rats generated by used frying oil. The procedure involves macerating 70% ethanol to extract the flesh from beligo fruit and assessing the in vivo antioxidant activity by measuring the amounts of malondialdehyde in fifty Wistar male rats split into 5 groups. Group V received vitamin C at a dose of 27 mg/kgBW, and groups II, III, and IV received an ethanol extract of beligo fruit flesh at 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg BW. Group I received 1% Na-CMC as a negative control. Using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, malondialdehyde levels were determined using the TBARS test. Statistical data analysis by a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and an Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) follow-up test. Malondialdehyde levels decreased in Group I (19.16%), Group II (78.70%), Group III (82.86%), Group IV (87.76%), and Group V (90.23%) according to the study's findings. The study findings demonstrated the antioxidant potential of beligo fruit flesh ethanol extract at doses of 100 mg, 200 mg/kg BW (p<0.05), and 400 mg/kg BW (p<0.01) in lowering malondialdehyde levels in Wistar male rats.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an was revealed by Allah SWT in Arabic, which has a very beautiful language structure. To understand the meaning contained therein, the Qur'an must be read well and correctly. Reading the Qur'an well and correctly is inseparable from the reading rules contained in the science of tajweed. In addition, the Prophet also recommended reading the Qur'an with a good and beautiful voice. Because one of the elements of the perfection of the Qur'an is reading it well and beautifully. In the current context, reading the Qur'an in a good and beautiful way can also be termed nagham Qur'an or known as the art of reading the Qur'an. But in this case, the term is not fully applied by Qur'an readers. This causes some Qur'anic readers to ignore the rules of Qur'anic recitation. Referring to these problems, nagham Qur'an and the history of its development presumably require a special study, with the focus of the study being on the meaning of nagham and the history of its development. The method used in explaining this study is a qualitative method with an analytical, descriptive approach. Based on the focus of the study, the term nagham has the same meaning as talhin and tarannum, namely, reading the Qur'an with a beautiful voice while still applying the rules of tajweed. Reading the Qur'an with nagham began with the Prophet Muhammad and has been carried on by his companions and subsequent generations.

Abstract

Nagham is an art form of reciting the Quran. The application of art in reciting the Quran is highly dependent on the rules of Tajweed. Reciting the Quran according to Tajweed rules is a command found in the Quran and Hadith. By reciting the Quran by the rules of recitation, a beautiful sound melody called "nagham" is created. However, this artistic melody does not have a musical scale or musical notes. Therefore, the focus of this research is to examine the development of nagham in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the development of Nagham in Indonesia in greater detail. The method used is descriptive and analytical. This research reveals that there are seven nagham styles in Indonesia: Bayyati, Shaba, Hijas, Nahawan, Rast, Sika, and Jiharkah. On the other hand, the application of nagham varies among different reciters (qari).

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book that has specific rules for its recitation so that the meanings contained within it can be correctly understood. Errors in pronunciation can affect the meaning and the purpose of worship. After the tsunami, the ability of the people of Glee Bruek to recite the Qur'an has shifted, particularly in the application of Tajweed rules. This study aims to identify the ability and efforts of the Glee Bruek community in improving the quality of Qur'an recitation after the tsunami, in accordance with Tajweed principles. The research method used is qualitative-descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the limited ability to recite the Qur'an in the Glee Bruek community is due to the loss of many religious leaders in the tsunami. However, the community has started to rebuild places for Qur'anic study in their homes. The conclusion of this study is that the effort to rebuild places of Qur'anic study plays an important role in improving the quality of Qur'anic recitation in Glee Bruek.

Abstract

In Islamic inheritance law, inheritance occurs because of the relationship between sababiyah and nasabiyah. From these two relationships, the dzawil faraid', 'Asabah and dzawil Arham groups were born. Dzawil Arham is a group that is often overlooked in inheritance, because there are no absolute provisions, especially for grandchildren whose parents died before their grandfather or successor heir. Even though there is inheritance law to realize justice and benefit in the family. Thus, in this study we will examine in more depth related to replacement heirs from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an, with the aim of realizing replacement heirs in the Al-Qur'an. The method used by liberal research is an analytical descriptive approach. The results of this study are that basically in Islamic inheritance law the term substitute heir is not found in the Koran as a source of Islamic law. However, Hazairin through his ijtihad interpreted the lafaz mawali in the Qur'an 4:7 as a substitute heir. This meaning was then formulated in KHI article 185 paragraphs 1 and 2. As a contribution to this study, realizing justice and benefit is a necessity. Grandchildren as substitute heirs for their parents should be a provision in Islamic inheritance.

Abstract

The principle of ta'awun (mutual assistance) is a fundamental Islamic value that promotes solidarity and shared responsibility. Its practical application in contemporary, culturally diverse societies often encounters significant challenges. This study investigates how the residents of Ie Meulee Village, Sukajaya Subdistrict, Sabang City, practiced ta'awun in responding to Rohingya refugees stranded in the area during December 2023. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study collected data through observations, interviews with 14 informants—including village officials, religious leaders, community members, and refugees—and document analysis. The findings reveal varied interpretations and implementations of ta'awun, shaped by factors such as religious education, the social environment, and economic constraints. While residents with strong religious knowledge exhibited proactive assistance, others provided help spontaneously or hesitated due to existing prejudices. This study underscores the importance of inclusive religious education, community-based social programs, and local policies to foster cross-cultural solidarity, ensuring the sustainable application of ta'awun values in multiethnic societies.
