Abstract

Computational thinking skills (CTS) play a crucial role across diverse domains, involving a thinking process that allows the execution of solutions by information processing agents. Measuring the level of CTS becomes essential to ensure that administrators effectively leverage technology. However, finding suitable instruments to measure and justify CTS levels in administration can be challenging. The selection of situational judgement test (SJT) is supported by its validity and reliability in assessing attributes, including professionalism. The instrument’s development includes face validity, discriminant validity (using Pearson correlation and Cronbach’s alpha), and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The study involved 111 undergraduate administration students from various Indonesian universities, and data were collected in 2023. Following a discriminant validity analysis, ten items were eliminated, while 23 met the criteria with p0.185. Subsequently, EFA yielded 16 items forming seven components, covering algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, technology literacy, problem abstraction, problem reformulation, data management in administration technology, and administrative data presentation with loading factor variations (0.421-0.868). The final instrument, consisting of 16 valid items and seven components, effectively evaluates the level of administrator computational thinking skills (ACTS) among administration students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: 1) the effect of teacher-student interpersonal relationship on learning motivation, 2) the effect of school environment on learning motivation and 3) the effect of teacher-student interpersonal relationship and school environment on student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. This research is quantitative research with a correlational method. The subject of this research is students of SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. The sampling technique used on this research is stratified random sampling. Data collection technique using a questionnaire. The instrument validation technique used on this research is validity test and reliability test. Data analysis includes classical assumption tests, such as normality tests, linearity tests and multicollinearity tests and there are hypothesis tests such as t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination, multiple regression analysis, effective contribution and relative contribution. The results of this research are: First, that there is a positive and significant influence of the teacher-student interpersonal relationship variable on student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudoni. This is evidenced by the value of Tvalue > Ttable 6.67 > 1.98 and a significance value of <0.05. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Second, it was found that there was no significant influence of school environmental variables on student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono but the results still showed in a positive direction. This is proven by the significance value of the school environment of > 0.05 and the T value of 0.56 < T table of 1.98 so that H0 is accepted and H2 is rejected. Third, there is a positive and significant influence of teacher-student interpersonal relationship variables and the school environment together on student learning motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. This is evidenced by the results of the F test with a F value of 34.75 > 3.09 F table with a significance level <0.05. So H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show a coefficient of determination value of 0.438, where teacher-student interpersonal relationships and the school environment together influence student learning motivation by 43.8%. While the remaining 56.2% is influenced by other factors. Teachers should be active in participating in communication competency training in order to improve teacher-student interpersonal relationships and teachers pay more attention to all students.

Abstract

The Indonesian government is responsible for the education of children up to grade nine under the age of 18. The government organizes open junior high schools (SMPT) to educate children who cannot attend due to economic and geographical reasons. SMPT is implemented in disadvantaged areas through Islamic Boarding Schools (PonPes). The role and persistence of teachers at PonPes arehas yet to be discovered and appreciated as professional teachers. This research aims to analyze the role and persistence of Islamic boarding school teachers. This research is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. This research aims to determine the role and persistence of teachers at PonPes. Teachers, school officials, school committees, tutors, parents and school principals were involved in this research. The subjects involved in this research as key informants were school principals. Purposive snowball sampling was used to select relevant informants and data sources. Source triangulation and method triangulation were used to validate the data. Data analysis refers to the interactive data analysis model from Milles and Huberman. The research results show that teachers have three roles: character builder, diversity teacher, and encourager of students. The persistence of IBS teachers can be seen from the teachers' efforts to understand the culture and demographic characteristics of students, which can manifest in the form of behaviour as coordinators, administrators and motivators. The research implications show that teachers serve parents and students who need school information.

Abstract

This article aims to investigate the implementation of differentiated learning at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. The research focuses on teachers' understanding of the nature and implementation of differentiated learning, as well as the challenges they face in its implementation. To approach this issue, theoretical references are drawn from previous studies relevant to differentiated learning and diverse approaches for students. Data were collected through classroom observations, documentation of teaching materials, and interviews with the head of the curriculum department and teachers who have implemented differentiated learning. The data were then qualitatively analyzed using interactive descriptive techniques. The findings of this study conclude that the majority of teachers have a good understanding of the nature of differentiated learning and recognize the importance of valuing student diversity. However, teachers face several challenges, including managing classes with diverse levels of abilities, limited resources and technology, and differences in understanding and approaches in implementing differentiated learning. Efforts made to overcome these challenges include teacher training and development, the use of technology and digital resources, collaboration among teachers, and a flexible approach to teaching. Thus, this article provides an overview of the implementation of differentiated learning at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta and recommendations for improving its implementation more effectively.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh media audio visual dan media konvensional terhadap hasil belajar; (2) pengaruh disiplin belajar tinggi dan disiplin belajar rendah terhadap hasil belajar; (3) interaksi antara media audio visual dan media konvensional dengan disiplin belajar tinggi dan disiplin belajar rendah terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MPLB sebanyak 46 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan 46 siswa sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis varians dua jalan dengan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu : uji normalitas, uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat pengaruh media audio visual dan media konvensional terhadap hasil belajar dengan hasilFhitung 10,060 > Ftabel 3,214; (2) terdapat pengaruh disiplin belajar tinggi dan disiplin belajar rendah terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan hasil Fhitung 5,796 > Ftabel 3,214; (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara media audio visual dan media konvensional dengan disiplin belajar tinggi dan disiplin belajar rendah dalam menentukan hasil belajar dengan hasil Fhitung 0,276 < Ftabel 3,214.Kata kunci : disiplin belajar; hasil belajar; kuantitatif; media audio visualAbstract: The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) the influence of audio-visual media and conventional media on learning outcomes; (2) the influence of high study discipline and low study discipline on learning outcomes; (3) the interaction between audio-visual media and conventional media with high study discipline and low study discipline on learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative experimental method with a posttest-only control design. The population of this study is 46 students of class XI MPLB. The sampling technique used saturated sampling with 46 students as samples. Data collection methods using questionnaires. Data analysis using two-way analysis of variance with prerequisite tests namely: normality test, homogeneity test. The results of the study are as follows: (1) there is an influence of audio-visual media and conventional media on learning outcomes with a result of F-count 10.060 > F-table 3,214; (2) there is an influence of high study discipline and low study discipline on learning outcomes with a result of F-count 5.796 > F-table 3,214; (3) there is no interaction between audio-visual media and conventional media with high study discipline and low study discipline in determining learning outcomes with a result of F-count 0.276 < F-table 3,214.Keywords : audiovisual media; learning discipline; learning outcomes; quantitative

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh self regulated learning terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa, (2) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh literasi digital terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa, dan (3) mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh self regulated learning dan literasi digital secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 216 siswa keahlian Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis SMKN 1 Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel proportionate stratified random sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 138 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self regulated learning terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa berdasarkan besarnya t hitung > t tabel (7,29 > 1,98) dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,00, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan literasi digital terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa berdasarkan besarnya t hitung < t tabel (0,34 < 1,98) dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,73, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self regulated learning dan literasi digital secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa berdasarkan besarnya F hitung > F tabel (54,10 > 3,06) dan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,00.Kata kunci: kuantitatif; kecepatan digital; keinginan berprestasi; pembelajaran mandiriAbstract: This study aims to (1) determine the influence of self-regulated learning on students' achievement motivation, (2) determine the influence of digital literacy on students' achievement motivation, and (3) determine the combined influence of self-regulated learning and digital literacy on students' achievement motivation. The population of this study consisted of 216 students majoring in Office Management and Business Services at SMKN 1 Karanganyar in the academic year 2022/2023. This research used the proportionate stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 138. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. This research can be concluded as follows: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of self-regulated learning on students' achievement motivation, based on the calculated  t-value > the tabled t-value (7.29 > 1.98) and a significance level of 0.00, (2) there is no positive and significant influence of digital literacy on students' achievement motivation, based on the calculated t-value < the tabled t-value (0.34 < 1.98) and a significance level of 0.73, and (3) there is a positive and significant combined influence of self-regulated learning and digital literacy on students' achievement motivation, based on the calculated F-value > the tabled F-value (54.10 > 3.06) and a significance level of 0.00.Keywords : digital literacy; desire for achievement, independent learning; quantitative

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis serta mengevaluasi penerapan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) di kelurahan Pucangsawit, kecamatan Jebres, kota Surakarta, (2) mengetahui kendala dalam Penerapan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) di kelurahan Pucangsawit, kecamatan Jebres, kota Surakarta serta  upaya pengembangan sistem yang telah ada. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data library research. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan metode. Analisis data menggunakan penyajian data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta tahap akhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaksanaan penggunaan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) di Kelurahan Pucangsawit Kecamatan Jebres Kota Surakarta telah  memenuhi dua aspek dalam teori Technology Acceptance Model, yakni persepsi kebermanfaatan (perceived usefulness) serta persepsi kemudahan pengguna (perceived ease of use). Sementara itu, fasilitasi pelatihan serta sosialisasi dinilai penting sebagai kunci dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan kompetensi pegawai atau petugas dalam penerapan Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK) serta upaya pelaksanaan koordinasi lebih lanjut dalam mengembangkan sistem yang telah ada.

Abstract

 Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran online; (2) pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran online; dan (3) pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X OTKP SMK Batik 2 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 47 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil melalui total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan lingkungan keluarga terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah korespondensi dalam pembelajaran daring (nilai thitung 3,222 > ttabel 2,015) dengan signifikan 0,002 < 0,05; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah korespondensi dalam pembelajaran daring (nilai thitung 4,054 > ttabel 2,015) dengan signifikan 0,000 < 0,05; 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan lingkungan keluarga dan kedisiplinan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah korespondensi dalam pembelajaran daring (nilai thitung 4,054 054 > ttabel 2,015) dengan signifikan 0,000 < 0,05; 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan lingkungan keluarga dan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah korespondensi dalam pembelajaran daring (nilai Fhitung 19,793 > Ftabel 3,204) dengan signifikan 0,000 < 0,05.Kata Kunci: pembelajaran online; penelitian kuantitatif; mata kuliah korespondensiAbstract: The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) the effect of family environment on the student’s learning achievement in online learning; (2) the effect of learning discipline on the student’s learning achievement in online learning; and (3) the effect of family environment and learning discipline on the student’s learning achievement in online learning. This is a quantitative research using the correlational method. The population in this research were students of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta in X OTKP in the 2020/2021 academic year, 47 students. The research sample was taken through total sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and analysis documents. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 25.0 program. The results show that: 1) there was a significant effect of family environment on the student’s learning achievement in correspondence subjects in online learning (tvalue 3.222 > ttable 2.015) with a significant 0.002<0.05; 2) there was a significant effect of learning discipline on the student’s learning achievement in correspondence subjects in online learning (tvalue 4.054 > ttable 2.015) with a significant 0,000<0,05; 3) there was a significant effect of family environment and learning discipline on the student’s learning achievement in correspondence subjects in online learning (Fvalue 19.793 > Ftable 3.204) with a significant 0.000<0.05.Keywords: correspondence subjects; online learning; quantitative research

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, 2) pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan 3) pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai di PT PLN Purworejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan outsourcing di PT PLN Purworejo yang berjumlah 132 karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah probabilitas sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dokumentasi, dan arsip. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT PLN Purworejo. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (3,174>1,998); 2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT PLN Purworejo. Terbukti dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (5,921>1,998), dan 3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT PLN Purworejo. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai fhitung lebih besar dari ftabel (31,729>3,14). Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,486. Artinya lingkungan kerja (X1) dan disiplin kerja (X2) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 48,6%. Sedangkan 51,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.Kata Kunci: disiplin kerja; kinerja pegawai; lingkungan kerja Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of the work environment on employee performance, 2) the effect of work discipline on employee performance, and 3) the effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance at PT PLN Purworejo. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all outsourced employees at PT PLN Purworejo, totalling 132 employees. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and archives. The data analysis technique used a prerequisite test and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant effect of the work environment on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is evidenced by the value of tcount greater than ttable (3.174>1.998); 2) There is a positive and significant effect of work discipline on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is proven by the value of tcount greater than ttable (5,921>1,998), and 3) There is a positive and significant effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on the performance of PT PLN Purworejo employees. It is proven by the value of fcount greater than ftable (31,729>3.14). The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.486. This means that the work environment (X1) and work discipline (X2) affect employee performance by 48.6%. At the same time, 51.4% are influenced by other factors that are not examined.Keywords: employee performance; work environment; work discipline

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui adakah pengaruh yang signifikan pelaksanaan prinsip good governance terhadap kepuasan pelayanan publik di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Karanganyar, (2) mengetahui indikator good governance yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan pelayanan publik pada Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat pengguna layanan publik di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Karanganyar yang berjumlah 380 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data pada penelitian ini adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Data analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat dan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS for Windows 22.0. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari sembilan prinsip good governance secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan pelayanan publik (Fhitung 29,220 > Ftabel 1,905), dan (2) variabel yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan pelayanan publik adalah variabel tanggungjawab (X4) dengan nilai koefisiensi sebesar 0,473.Kata Kunci: kesenangan pelanggan; prinsip pemerintahan; pelayanan umumAbstract: This study focuses on KPP Pratama Karanganyar and aims to investigate the impact of good governance principles on public service satisfaction. Specifically, the research addresses two key objectives (1) Effect of Good Governance Implementation: The study examines whether the implementation of good governance principles significantly affects public service satisfaction at the Karanganyar Primary Tax Service Office. (2) Dominant Indicators of Good Governance: It identifies the indicators of good governance that most strongly influence the level of public service satisfaction at the Primary Tax Service Office Karanganyar. The research design for this study utilizes a correlational quantitative research method. The study focuses on the community of public service users at the Karanganyar Primary Tax Service Office, totaling 380 people. The sampling technique employed is incidental sampling. Data collection involves the use of questionnaires and documentation. To ensure data validity, source triangulation and method triangulation are applied. Finally, data analysis is conducted using prerequisite tests and multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS for Windows 22.0. Results show (1) the study demonstrates a positive and significant influence of the nine principles of good governance on public service satisfaction (Fcount = 29.220, Ftable = 1.905). (2) The variable that most significantly affects public service satisfaction is responsibility (X4), with a coefficient of 0.473.Keywords: customer delight; principles of government; public service
