Abstract

Abstrak: Kabupaten Majene merupakan daerah yang rawan terhadap bencana gempa bumi karena dilalui Mamuju-Majene Thrust, wilayah ini memiliki dampak getaran gempa relatif cukup besar ketika terjadi gempa bumi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengkaji kegiatan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana gempa bumi, 2) mengembangkan modul kesiapsiagaan gempa bumi pada masyarakat, dan 3) mengetahui sikap masyarakat dengan adanya modul kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi di kabupaten Majene. Penelitian dikembangkan dengan mixed method research, pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian pendahuluan yang dilaksanakan dengan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi sedangkan pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam uji efektifitas modul dengan design pre-test dan post-test, analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian 1) kesiapsiagaan masyarakat di Desa Bonde terhadap bencana gempa bumi masih cukup kurang, dominan yang menyebabkan adanya korban adalah akibat reruntuhan bangunan, kemudian belum terdapat program kerja pemerintah untuk mengadakan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi di masyarakat, 2) pengembangan modul kesiapsiagaan gempa bumi efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap tanggap bencana gempa bumi, 3) Hasil uji kelayakan modul yang menyatakan bahwa terjadi perubahan sikap masyarakat signifikan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran modul kesiapsiagaan gempa bumi. Modul kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap gempa bumi akan lebih mudah disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan karangtaruna sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Abstract:  Majene Regency is an area that is prone to earthquake disasters because the Mamuju-Majene Thrust passes through, this area has a relatively large impact of earthquake vibrations when an earthquake occurs. The objectives of this research are 1) to examine community preparedness activities for earthquake disasters, 2) to develop an earthquake preparedness module for the community, and 3) to determine community attitudes towards the existence of an earthquake disaster preparedness module in Majene district. The research was developed using a Mixed Method, a qualitative approach was used in preliminary research activities carried out with interviews, documentation and observation, while a quantitative approach was used in testing the effectiveness of the module with a pre-test and post-test design, data analysis using the paired sample t-test. Research results: 1) community preparedness in Bonde Village for earthquake disasters is still quite lacking, the dominant cause of victims is due to building debris, then there is no government work program to provide education or outreach in the community, 2) the development of an earthquake preparedness module is effective in increasing earthquake response attitudes, 3) The results of the module feasibility test stated that there was a significant change in community attitudes after following the earthquake preparedness module learning. The community preparedness module for earthquakes will be more easily disseminated to the community through Karangtaruna activities at the location so that it can increase public awareness.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is the realization of a virtual environment by adding virtual information to the real world physical environment. The aim of this research is to develop learning media based on augmented reality in geography subjects, earth rotation material. The method used for this research is the ADDIE development type and model in creating an augmented reality-based learning environment. As a result of this research, it can be concluded that the learning media based on augmented reality has passed the test by getting a percentage score of 80% by the material validator, then getting a percentage score of 95% by the product expert, and finally the learning validator got a percentage score of 85% so that it can This media can be used in the teaching and learning process in classes with geography as the subject of Earth's rotation.

Abstract

Effective learning can be observed through the effectiveness of the teaching process itself. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of the problem-based learning model and its impact on improving students' knowledge. This research employs a quantitative method. The problem-based learning model follows five stages. The results of the study indicate that the N-Gain score, used to measure the effectiveness of the learning model, reached 98%, indicating that it is effective when applied in problem-based learning assisted by the ArcGIS Story Map. Additionally, students' responses showed a score of 70.85, which is categorized as very good. Furthermore, the post-test scores were higher than the pre-test scores, demonstrating an improvement in students' knowledge.

Abstract

Buffalo racing is a tradition, custom and game of the people of Sumbawa which is still held and has become a community habit. The aim of the research is to find out the implementation of the buffalo racing culture and the values contained therein which maintain existing local wisdom. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative obtained from sources. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use observation and interview techniques. The results of research into the implementation process of the karapan buffalo tradition started from forming a committee, providing a location, preparing a pair of buffalo, a list of participants, Sandro going around the saka, the buffalo being dressed in noga and coral, the running of the buffalo bepan tradition, and distribution of prizes. Meanwhile, the values contained in the buffalo karapan tradition are mutual cooperation, culture and economics.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the lack of optimal integration of socio-ethnic values in the test items, which potentially hinders students' understanding of the local socio-cultural context. This study aims to analyze the essay test items with a socio-ethnic nuance in the Social Studies material for fifth-grade elementary school students, focusing on validity, reliability, discrimination power, difficulty level, and representation of socio-ethnic values. The method used is quantitative with a descriptive-analytical approach. The instruments used are essay test items that have been developed and validated by experts. Data analysis was conducted using statistical analysis techniques to measure validity, reliability, discrimination power, and difficulty level of the items, as well as a qualitative approach to assess the representation of socio-ethnic values. The results indicate that most items have met the criteria for high validity and reliability; however, there are several items with a relatively high difficulty level and low discrimination power. The representation of socio-ethnic values in the items was also well identified, although there is still room to strengthen the integration of local culture in the test items. The impact of this research is an increased awareness of the importance of socio-ethnic values in elementary education, which can help students understand and appreciate Indonesia's cultural diversity in a more inclusive and contextual educational setting.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the declining understanding of Sundanese traditional culture among elementary school students in West Java, caused by globalization and the suboptimal implementation of local wisdom-based learning in schools. The research aims to analyze the influence of local wisdom-based learning on the preservation of traditional culture using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The study involved 50 fourth-grade students randomly divided into two groups: an experimental group of 25 students and a control group of 25 students from one elementary school in Bandung City. Data were collected through cultural knowledge tests, attitude assessments, and observation sheets during three sessions of integrated local wisdom-based learning (e.g., folktales, traditional games, Sundanese arts). The data were then analyzed using t-tests and N-gain analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in the experimental group in the knowledge test, with an N-gain of 0.66 or 66% in the moderate category, an increase in attitude assessment of 26%, and an increase in skill observation results of 29%. The main findings prove that local wisdom-based learning is effective in preserving traditional culture while improving student learning outcomes. The study concludes that integrating local content into the elementary curriculum through the development of contextual modules, teacher training, and collaboration with cultural communities is essential. The implications of this research provide empirical evidence for strengthening character education based on local wisdom and formulating educational policies oriented toward cultural preservation in West Java.

Abstract

The central gap in implementing differentiated learning lies in the mismatch between curriculum demands and practices caused by limited understanding, resources, time, policy support, and adaptive evaluation. This research aimed to identify teacher preparation, analyze the obstacles, and identify teachers' efforts in implementing differentiated social studies learning in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Bangsri and MTS Hasyim Asy'ari. Researchers use qualitative methods which produce qualitative descriptive data through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The key informant in the research is the social studies teacher. The findings showed that the teachers' efforts in implementing differentiated learning were by attending training provided by the school and the government and then making teaching modules according to the student's needs. The significant obstacles faced are time limitations, lack of understanding and facilities, and the use of technology that has yet to be optimal. The efforts made by teachers are using various learning strategies, utilizing media and methods in differentiated learning, and selecting effective assessments and evaluations such as summative and formative assessments. This research suggests that increasing teacher training, providing additional facilities at school, and optimizing school support are crucial to ensure the successful implementation of differentiated social studies learning.

Abstract

The high mobility of high school students due to the uneven number of schools and equality in accessing education, initiated the government to form zoning regulations. The practice in the field shows that the zoning system has not been able to eliminate inequality in accessing education. This study aims to (1) analyze the distribution pattern of public high schools, (2) analyze the affordability of public high schools, (3) evaluate the availability of public high schools in Semarang City. Nearest neighborhood data analysis was used for distribution pattern, buffering with SNI 03-1733-2004 standard for affordability, Luthfi Muta'ali's availability formula for availability. The results of the study (1) the distribution pattern of public senior high schools in Semarang City shows a uniform/regular/dispersed pattern, 2) the affordability based on zoning regulations results in all sub-districts of Semarang City being affordable, but if using the SNI 03-1733-2004 standard there are 10 sub-districts and 30 villages that are not affordable or blankspots. (3) the availability of school facilities only three out of 16 sub-districts have a surplus level, around 20 additional schools are needed but still considering the number of private SMK/MA/SMA facilities in each sub-district.

Abstract

Masalah lingkungan akibat eksploitasi berlebihan dapat diatasi dengan gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi berpotensi menjadi agen perubahan pro-lingkungan, tetapi pemahaman dan penerapan mereka terhadap keberlanjutan masih perlu dievaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengukur pengaruh antara tingkat pengatahuan pro-environmental terhadap sustainable lifestyle mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Negeri Semarang. Populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi semester 4, 6, dan 8 yang berjumlah 269 mahasiswa.  Sampel yang digunakan adalah diambil 25% dari masing-masing srata yaitu 67 sampel mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi UNNES semester 4, 6 dan 8 yang diambil melalui metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes, kuesioner, dan observasi. Adapun analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi memiliki tingkat pengetahuan pro-environmental pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan rerata nilai 96,4 dan sustainable lifestyle pada kategori Tinggi dengan rerata nilai 84,10. Hasil kuesioner mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan baik terkait penghematan energi, misalnya melalui penggunaan lampu LED dan pemanfaatan pencahayaan alami. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier sederhana, penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari variabel tingkat pengetahuan pro-environmental terhadap sustainable lifestyle mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan nilai koefisien 0,070. Hasil nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) menunjukkan hasil persentase sebesar 13,8%, sedangkan sisanya yaitu 86,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

The aims of this study are 1) to analyze earthquake disaster education in State Senior High School 1 Karangreja, using a role-playing learning model.; 2) to analyze the knowledge and students’ attitude in dealing with earthquakes. The population of this study was all students of State Senior High School 1 Karangreja. State Senior High School 1 Karangreja is located on the slopes of Mount Slamet, making it prone to volcanic earthquakes. Disaster education for students is very needed. This will allow the students to have provisions when a disaster occurs. The number of samples is 56 respondents. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. The result of this study is that the condition of teachers in providing education about earthquake disasters is still at the stage of offering knowledge; there needs to be simulation practice involved. The level of preparedness knowledge of students with moderate levels of knowledge is 66% of respondents. Students with low levels of preparedness knowledge are as much as 16%. Students with an excellent preparedness attitude are as much as 52%. Researchers advise the school and the teachers to improve education on disasters, particularly earthquakes, based on the disaster vulnerability at the school.
