Abstract

Purpose — The objective of this study is to evaluate the prevailing trends in publications and investigate the literature derived from multiple studies concerning the impact of digitalization on SMEs and their internationalization process.Method — We employ the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to identify and consolidate publication trends from various articles. The literature utilized in this study is sourced from the Scopus database. By referring to the PRISMA chart, a total of 33 literature works were selected for analysis using VOSviewer. In this research, we utilize bibliometric analysis to examine article trends and employ content analysis to assess the literature.Result — We discovered that there were 19 keywords representing the latest and seldom explored themes among researchers, which were organized into 5 clusters for further analysis within a research framework. Moreover, we identified new and infrequently studied themes such as effectuation, international performance, digital transformation, digital technologies, and export performance. Additionally, we uncovered novel research topics that have the potential to inspire future studies in related areas.Contribution — This study contributes by examining literature on digitalization and internationalization, identifying research trends and proposing future directions, especially for SMEs in Southeast Asian countries. It also introduces the rarely-used Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to examine the role of digitalization in internationalization, challenging the dominance of quantitative methods in prior research.

Abstract

Background Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) is very essential. There are three categories of antimicrobial agents as recommended by WHO: Access, Watch and Reserve. e-RASPRO, a digital ASP model, may alter antibiotic prescribing patterns by prioritizing Access category antibiotic prescribing. Methods Our manuscript presented a quantitative survey on antibiotic prescribing patterns within 3 months and 9 months before and after implementing digital electronic-RASPRO (e-RASPRO) in three Indonesian hospitals, utilizing retrospective inpatient data. This analysis included the appropriateness of empirical antibiotic prescribing and the quantity of antibiotic prescribing based on each category. Results In the first 3 months, we found that 90.16%, 83.98%, and 81.15% of patients were included in Type 1 Risk Stratification. The appropriateness of initial empirical antibiotic prescribing with the digital guideline on antimicrobial use of e-RASPRO in three hospitals was 81.59%, 76.09% and 24.48%, respectively. Within 9 months after implementing e-RASPRO in Hospital A and B and within 3 months in Hospital C, there was a trend of reduced quantity of Watch category antibiotic prescribing of 54.93% (-58.86% per inpatient), 21.11% (-9.97% per inpatient), and 8.59% (-4.15% per inpatient), respectively. There was a 12.42% (+2.61 % per inpatient) and 223.17% (+268.83% per inpatient) increase in the quantity of Access category antibiotic prescribing in Hospitals A and B, while in Hospital C, the quantity decreased by 6.81% (-2.29% per inpatient).   Conclusions There are changes in antibiotic prescribing patterns, particularly in the antibiotics included in the Watch and Access categories following the implementation of e-RASPRO. The relationship between digital antimicrobial stewardship use and the results still needs further research.

One of the causes of low growth and the real sector's contribution is economic policy, both fiscal and monetary that is lesssupportive of the economic actors in the real sector. From the fiscal side, the budget magnitudescan be seen to the realsector (e.g. Agriculture) that is less than 5 percent. The funds are still skimpy that assessed itis difficult todevelop the agricultural sector. From the monetary side, the interest rate is judged still too high and cause economic actors in the real sector is quite difficult to get capital access. This study aims to find synergies between fiscal and monetary policy to support the real sector. This research was using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) through the distribution ofquestionnaires to respondents of SME in Surabaya. The results showedthat interest rate and capital accessto financial institutions are factors considered by SME in obtaining credit (monetary policy). On the other hand, raw materials subsidies and fuel are also a major concern for them to increase production output (fiscal policy).

Abstract

This research investigates the linkage between government expenditure, domestic investment, national income, human development index, and economic growth in Indonesia during the period 2015-2020. This study applied the quantitative method with Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, and Random effect Model to estimate the empirical model. The data in this research were gathered from these main sources, including Statistics Indonesia and the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board. The classical assumption is also provided to meet the analysis criteria. The findings of the study indicate that government spending positively impacts Indonesian economic growth. Indeed, national income has a robust effect on economic growth. This study also confirms the crucial role in determining economic growth in Indonesia. Surprisingly, the human development index failed to support a robust spur to economic growth in Indonesia. These results contribute to the literature on economic growth and have tremendous implications for Indonesian policymakers to consider these findings.
