Abstract

PT. XYZ has an electric power capacity of 70 MW and began operating in 2014 during its operation there has been a decrease in power from 35 MW at the time of commissioning to 32 MW. This study investigates the impact of the air-fuel ratio (AFR) on the efficiency of a thermal system, focusing on the boiler, turbine, and overall thermal cycle efficiency. Variations in excess O2 in flue gas were examined at levels of 5.0%, 5.5%, and 6.0%. The results reveal that the boiler efficiency peaks at 5.0% excess O2 (73.50%), while an increase in excess O2 or AFR leads to a decrease in efficiency. Turbine efficiency remains relatively stable (74-76%) despite a slight decline with increased AFR. The thermal cycle efficiency reaches its maximum at an AFR of 13.61 (45.60%) but diminishes at higher AFR values.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan yang memiliki potensi ikan sekitar 6,4 juta ton pertahun dan yang boleh ditangkap 80% atau 5,12 ton pertahun. Hasil tangkapan ikan oleh para nelayan memerlukan tempat penyimpanan yang memungkinkan ikan dapat disimpan lebih lama (1-2 minggu), sehingga dibutuhkan cold storage. Penelitian ini dirancang sebuah cold storage dengan kapasitas ikan sebesar 4 ton yang bertujuan untuk menghitung dan merancang beban pendinginan untuk cold storage kapal nelayan dengan kapasitas 4 ton ikan dan  menganalisis hasil rancangan cold storage. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data ukuran kapal nelayan sebagai dasar perhitungan dimensi cold storage. Mesin pendingin cold storage yang direncanakan mampu menampung 5184 kg ikan, dikarenakan bak terisi ikan sebanyak 60 %, dengan beban pendingin 16,65 kW untuk mencapai temperatur yang diinginkan yakni -1 °C. Dinding cold storage tersusun atas plat aluminium, pipa tembaga dan isolasi sehingga udara dingin mengalir ke bagian dalam bok cold storage, dengan kerja kompresor sebesar 33,5736 kJ/kg, kalor yang diserap evaporator sebesar 123,684 kJ/kg, kalor yang dilepaskan kondensor sebesar 157,2526 kJ/kg, daya kompresor yang dihasilkan sebesar 4,5197 kW atau sebesar 3,372 Hp dengan Coefficient Of Performance (COP) sebesar 3,684. Pada rancangan cold storage digunakan kompresor dengan daya sebesar 4 Hp sesuai dengan beban pendingin yang dilengkapi dengan sensor suhu (thermostat) yang berfungsi apabila suhu pada bak cold storage mencapai -1°C secara automatis mesin genset akan berhenti beroperasi dan bila suhu naik 1°C mesin akan kembali beroperasi, sehingga dapat menghemat penggunaan bahan bakar .

Abstract

The amount of time taken to complete tasks and the lack of passion for them suggest that work discipline and motivation are not at their best, which has an influence on ignored work. The goal of this research is to examine the link between employee performance and work motivation and discipline. With a population of 209, a random sampling methodology was used to acquire 137 samples from which to draw conclusions. Observations and questionnaires were employed for data gathering, while SPSS software was used for data analysis. Workplace discipline and motivation were shown to have a partial and significant impact on performance, according to the findings. Motivating and disciplining employees is a good way to improve their performance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop branding and visual identity strategies to promote Donat Bahagia Galaxy products. Using a qualitative approach, the research identifies key elements that contribute to effective branding and visual identity design. Through in-depth interviews and visual analysis, the study finds that integrating a strong branding concept with attractive visual identity can enhance the product's appeal to consumers. Essential elements such as the development of a memorable logo, consistent and appealing color schemes, and innovative packaging have been shown to create significant differentiation and increase consumer loyalty. Furthermore, the research highlights the importance of aligning visual elements with brand messaging to create a cohesive and convincing impression in the consumer's mind. The results of this study provide practical guidelines for donut entrepreneurs in optimizing their branding and visual identity strategies to achieve better marketing success.

Abstract

One way to improve the quality of PT. XYZ is implemented, planned, and systematically through education, training, and existing competencies. In other words, the importance of education and training in the organization is the improvement of employee performance which includes knowledge and skills that support, as well as the formation of the attitude of each employee as desired by the organization. This study uses an explanatory type of research with a quantitative approach. The independent variables used in this study were education and training (X1) with formal and non-formal education indicators, competence (X2) with indicators of leadership training, functional training, and technical training. The dependent variables in this study are performance with indicators of quantity, quality, and attitude/reliability.

Abstract

Retail companies market products by involving the sale of products by retailing to consumers through stores, minimarkets, supermarkets, and others. There have been many retail companies that have grown. One of them is PT SIL. The purpose of research at PT SIL is to determine the factors that affect the income of cashiers who sometimes experience income differences. The research method used is an implementation method. The results showed several obstacles to the cashier's income, namely the accuracy of the performance cashier's performance. Moreover, it can be concluded that the cashier plays an important role in the presence or absence of differences in income.

Abstract

Bookkeeping is something that business actors must apply. Bookkeeping can be done both manually and computerized. In the development of an increasingly advanced era, the role of technology certainly has a major influence in the business world, especially in processing company financial data. In recording transactions, a computerized system is needed to make it easier for companies to record and the need to present a fast and accurate financial statement. This study aims to analyze what problems are often faced by CV AJM while implementing a manual bookkeeping system and providing solutions to these problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative based on primary data sources and secondary data obtained by conducting field research. The result of this study is to explain good financial document filing, recording of financial statements, and guidelines for using accounting bookkeeping applications that can help CV AJM manage business activities. So that with this computerized bookkeeping can help workers quickly and accurately; later, business owners can use these financial statements as study material to analyze their business and be able to maintain their business in the future.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative methods to understand the object studied in depth. This research is used to determine how work motivation improves work discipline in PT IP employees. To get the human resources to contribute positively to all company activities in achieving its goals, every employee must be motivated to improve work discipline. Motivation is an essential thing to be considered by management if they want every employee to contribute positively to achieving company goals because, with motivation, an employee can have high enthusiasm in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PPM) berupa workshop penyusunan pembelajaran efektif dan menyenangkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dilakukan di SDN Malangan 3 Bulu Sukoharjo. Kegiatan PPM bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampulan guru menyelenggarakan model pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien, dan menyenangkan disertai media pembelajaran. Peserta dari kegiatan PPM berjumlah 100 yang terdiri dari guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Bulu Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode kegiatan PPM dilaksanakan dengan metode Blended Learning, yaitu dilaksakan secara klasikal dan daring dengan menggunakan Google Classroom. Kegiatan PPM secara klasikal dilaksanakan dengan menjabarkan materi tentang pembelajaran efektif dan efisien dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran, pemberian contoh-contoh media pembelajaran, diskusi terstruktur dan praktik menyusun rancangan pembelajaran efektif, efisien dan menyenangkan. Hasil dari kegiatan PPM yaitu guru memiliki pemahaman tentang rancangan pembelajaran efektif dan efisien dan produk berupa modul ajar yang memuat media pembelajaran.
