Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) in children remains a significant global health problem, particularly in countries with high transmission rates. Children are more susceptible to rapid progression into severe forms of TB, such as TB meningitis and miliary TB, due to their immature immune systems. Diagnosing TB in children is challenging because symptoms are often nonspecific and bacterial loads are low, leading to frequent negative bacteriological results. Common clinical manifestations include persistent cough, prolonged fever, weight loss, and failure to thrive. Major risk factors include close contact with adult TB cases, malnutrition, and immunocompromised conditions. Diagnostic approaches require a combination of clinical evaluation, radiological examination, and immunological tests such as the tuberculin skin test or IGRA. Treatment follows standard antituberculosis drug regimens according to national guidelines. Preventive measures, including BCG vaccination and routine screening of household contacts, play a crucial role in reducing the incidence and complications of TB in children. Overall, early detection and comprehensive management are essential to decrease morbidity and mortality associated with pediatric TB.

Abstract

Abstract

The main problem in this study is regarding the various obstacles to education for the poor, based on social facts through interviews and phenomena encountered in the Padang city community, one of the roots of the education problem lies in the weak community economy so that many dhuafa children are constrained in privately based schools. The educational constraints that often occur among the poor are school debt from tuition/UKT payments, school exam payments, development payments and so on, so that they cannot get a diploma to apply for jobs and continue their education to a higher level. This study aims to find out the strategies of the amil zakat infaq and sedekah Mitra Ummat Madani institutions in implementing educational programs to help the education of the dhuafa, and then find out what are the drivers and obstacles of Lazis Mitra Ummat Madani in delivering educational programs to the dhuafa in Padang City. The type of research that the authors use is a type of field research (Field Research), to obtain data from the problems studied. The data collection technique that the writer uses is through interviews and documentation. Data management was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner, then described and classified aspects of certain problems and explained through effective sentences. The lack of attention in the field of education for dhuafa (non-orphanage) children has led Lazis Mitra Ummat Madani to create an educational program with another name, namely the civil generation scholarship program (Pro Be GEMA). Supporting factors in channeling the program by making donors as foster parents for orphans and dhuafa in terms of supporting their education so that the education of orphans and dhuafa is given more attention. There are 3 taglines for the Madani Generation Scholarship Program, namely fostering generations of Qur'an memorizers by establishing tahfiz houses, having noble character through various kinds of religious activities and achieving achievements in the formal and informal fields.

Abstract

The implementation of electronic recording systems like Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is expected to ease and accelerate service provision. However, EMR applications don't always fully support healthcare professionals in their duties. Therefore, an evaluation is crucial to identify system weaknesses. User satisfaction with electronic medical records is a key indicator of information system success. This study aimed to determine the satisfaction level of electronic medical record officers using the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method, based on the dimensions of Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use, and Timeliness. This descriptive quantitative study used a survey method, distributing questionnaires to 39 EMR user officers. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. The results showed all variables were in the very satisfied category, with average values of Content 4.33, Accuracy 4.31, Format 4.35, Ease of Use 4.23, and Timeliness 4.27. The F-test also indicated that all five EUCS variables simultaneously had a significant effect on user satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that the EMR system at UPTD Koni Health Center has met end-user expectations regarding its operations. UPTD Koni Health Center is advised to continuously improve the quality of the EMR system, conduct ongoing evaluations and improvements in areas with a medium satisfaction level, and strategically plan EMR system development to support more efficient health services.
