Abstract

The presence of women's football in Aceh is against the MPU because according to them women's football is not in accordance with Islamic law. With this, this study aims to determine how the perceptions of football observers in Aceh on the formation of women's football teams in Aceh. Respondents in this study were divided based on 4 criteria consisting of, (1) Perspectives of football lovers, (2) According to the point of view of the Football Coach, (3) Viewpoints of Football Players, (4) Perspectives of Sports Managers. Collecting data in this study using a closed questionnaire system with the aim of knowing the perceptions of football observers in Aceh which are divided into 3 things, namely, in terms of facilities and infrastructure, referees, and cultural / cultural aspects. Based on the results of data processing in this study, the data of this study were presented using a Likert scale with the results that answered strongly disagree 4.8%, disagree 8.8%, agree 22.7%, and strongly agree 63.7 to existence. Women's Football in Aceh. This research can conclude that the perception of football observers on women's soccer in Aceh is positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the favorite sport of the people of Banda Aceh City in the new normal era. descriptive research method with survey techniques. The sampling technique used random sampling techniques, the object was 350 people. Data collection techniques using google form. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of the study were sports carried out by the people of Banda Aceh in the new normal era, including jogging by 58.3%, cycling by 27.8%, martial arts 4.3%, badminton sports 4.3% and agility sports 1.9%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the favorite sport of the people of Banda Aceh in the new normal era is jogging.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of rondo training in improving the passing accuracy of U-15 athletes at SSB Talenta Aceh Football. The method used in this study was an experiment involving 15 athletes who underwent a passing accuracy test before and after an 8-week rondo training program. The data obtained showed that the average pretest score before training was 8.93, while the average postes score after training increased to 11.47. Statistical analysis showed a standard deviation of 1,580 for pretes and 1,187 for postes, signaling an increase in performance consistency. The hypothesis test yielded a t-value of 5.824, which showed that the difference between the pretest and postes scores was significant. These findings indicate that rondo training not only improves passing accuracy but also has a positive impact on athletes' confidence and adaptability in game situations. The results of this study recommend the application of the rondo training method regularly in the training program to support the development of technical skills of young athletes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen kurikulum dan strategi guru dalam pembinaan karakter serta ibadah peserta didik di SD Islam Terpadu Ikhtiar Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kurikulum dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang berorientasi pada integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam seluruh aspek pembelajaran. Guru berperan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dan membimbing pelaksanaan ibadah melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, keteladanan, serta pengawasan. Pembinaan ibadah peserta didik diwujudkan melalui program harian seperti shalat berjamaah, tadarus Al-Qur’an, hafalan, dan kegiatan keagamaan lainnya. Sinergi antara kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan pembinaan karakter dan ibadah di SD IT Ikhtiar Makassar.

Abstract

Indonesia’s Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB Tiga Menteri), which prohibits schools from mandating the hijab, has sparked significant controversy, particularly in Minangkabau society, where Islamic norms are strongly interwoven with adat and educational traditions. This study aims to analyze the roots of Minangkabau resistance to the hijab policy and to understand what this conflict reveals about broader negotiations between state authority and local Islamic educational values. Employing a qualitative fieldwork approach, the research integrates in-depth interviews, field observations, and digital documentation. These primary data are complemented by qualitative content analysis of media reports, public statements, and community narratives to capture both grassroots and public discourses. Findings show that Minangkabau communities interpret the policy as undermining the moral development of children and disrupting the long-standing normalization of hijab practice in schools. Their resistance signifies a strong assertion of educational autonomy and reflects a challenge to the state’s attempt to centralize religious policy. This contestation is rooted not only in religious doctrine but also in cultural heritage and communal identity. The Minangkabau reaction highlights the persistent dissonance between national education policies and local religious-cultural frameworks, demonstrating that uniform regulations may fail to accommodate Indonesia’s plural sociocultural landscape. The study underscores the need for culturally responsive policy-making in Islamic education, encouraging future decisions to integrate local values, community participation, and context-sensitive approaches to avoid conflict and strengthen policy legitimacy.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Chromebook integration on students' interest and ability in learning English at SMPN 7 Bukittinggi. The present study employs a qualitative case study approach, focusing on grade VII students from classes VII3, VII4, and VII5, which collectively encompass a total of 10 participants, with five females and five males. The data presented herein were collected through a combination of classroom observations and interviews with students and teachers. The findings indicate that Chromebooks facilitate interactive, collaborative, and personalized learning environments, thereby enhancing student motivation, English proficiency, and digital literacy. These tools facilitate essential functions, including the facilitation of assignment access, the provision of feedback, the promotion of peer collaboration, the cultivation of critical thinking, and the promotion of self-assessment. The efficacy of teacher facilitation is paramount for the optimal utilization of Chromebooks. In essence, the integration of Chromebooks into pedagogy fosters dynamic, student-centered environments conducive to autonomy and the development of higher-order thinking skills, underscoring the necessity for continual assessment to address a range of digital learning requirements

Abstract

This study explores the challenges students face in academic writing and identifies effective techniques that can help overcome these problems The research background shows that academic writing skills are essential for students and researchers but many face difficulties in organising ideas following writing guidelines and structuring arguments logically Using a qualitative approach this study applied systematic literature review SLR to collect data from in depth interviews and observations of students and researchers The results showed that good planning clear language use and peer feedback significantly improved the quality of writing In addition techniques such as mind mapping and the use of writing aids were also shown to support a more systematic writing process This study fills a gap in the literature by highlighting the lack of integration of various academic writing techniques and the influence of external factors such as social support and stress levels on the effectiveness of these techniques The findings are expected to provide guidance for academic writers in selecting techniques appropriate to the challenges faced and provide insights for educators in supporting the development of students writing skills < p>

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Bahasa Inggris merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu diasah sejak dini, namun banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara dan kurang memiliki minat belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dan minat belajar bahasa Inggris melalui pendampingan story telling berbantuan English cartoon story. Mitra sasaran adalah 34 siswa SMPN 17 Mataram, yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi sekolah sebagai perwakilan siswa dengan kebutuhan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan metode ceramah dipadukan diskusi interaktif serta praktik story telling secara individu dan kelompok. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa secara signifikan, nilai rata-rata pre-test 72.06 meningkat menjadi 77.94 pada post-test, dengan standar deviasi menurun dari 13.933 menjadi 13.034, dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menghasilkan Z = -5.830, p = 0.000 < 0.05. Secara kualitatif, siswa menjadi lebih aktif, berani berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris, dan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi selama kegiatan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa English cartoon story efektif sebagai media pendamping story telling, mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dan minat belajar bahasa Inggris, serta dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan di sekolah. Kata kunci: Story telling; English cartoon story; Kemampuan berbicara; Minat belajar. ABSTRACTEnglish is an important skill that needs to be honed from an early age, but many students have difficulty speaking and lack interest in learning. This community service activity aims to improve English speaking skills and interest in learning through storytelling assistance using English cartoon stories. The target partners are 34 students from SMPN 17 Mataram, who were selected based on school recommendations as representatives of students who need to improve their speaking skills. The activity was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, using a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and individual and group storytelling practice. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in student abilities, with the average pre-test score of 72.06 increasing to 77.94 on the post-test, with the standard deviation decreasing from 13.933 to 13.034, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielding Z = -5.830, p = 0.000 < 0.05. Qualitatively, students became more active, dared to speak in English, and showed high enthusiasm during the activities. These findings indicate that English cartoon stories are effective as a companion medium for storytelling, capable of improving speaking skills and interest in learning English, and can be applied continuously in schools. Keywords: Storytelling; English cartoon stories; Speaking skills; Interest in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the tourism sector and Regional Original Income (PAD) in Gowa Regency. The tourism sector is considered to have great potential in increasing PAD through developing tourist attractions and increasing the number of tourist visits. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the Spearman Rank correlation analysis technique. The data used is time series data from 2015 to 2024 which includes the number of tourist attractions, the number of domestic tourists, foreign tourists and Gowa Regency PAD. The research results show that there is a strong and significant relationship between the number of tourist attractions and PAD. Meanwhile, a number of domestic tourists have a positive relationship with PAD. The number of foreign tourists shows a negative relationship. These results indicate that the development of tourist attractions has the most significant influence in increasing Gowa Regency's PAD compared to the number of tourist visits, especially foreign tourists.

Abstract

Despite global reforms in science education that emphasize collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world application, many secondary students continue to struggle with scientific reasoning and communication, particularly in Biology. This study addresses this gap by evaluating the effectiveness of the Critical Analysis and Discussion Comparison with Extended Learning Community (CADC-ELC) method in enhancing students' written and oral communication and cognitive performance. Employing a quasi-experimental design with 90 tenth-grade students in Indonesia, participants were divided into three groups: CADC-ELC, CADC-only, and conventional instruction. Data were collected using validated observation sheets and a 30-item cognitive test and analyzed using the Games-Howell post-hoc test. Results revealed that CADC-ELC significantly outperformed other groups in all areas: written communication improved from M = 31.0 to 70.3, oral communication from M = 9.1 to 17.06, and cognitive scores from M = 33.3 to 83.1 (all p < .001). These findings suggest that CADC-ELC offers a robust, globally relevant model for strengthening science education through dialogic, scaffolded, and context-rich instruction.
