Abstract

This research aims to analyze the steps for using the sociodrama method to increase students’ active learning in elementary school. This research is based on low learning activity, students tend to be quiet and lack enthusiasm during the learning process. Therefore, the importance of learning methods that are interesting and not boring. This research focuses on the steps of the sociodrama method which include 1) determining the theme, 2) determining the role/actor, 3) preparing the role, 4) preparing the audience (observer), 5) implementing sociodrama, and 6) Follow up. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with a library study type. The data collection technique uses documentation with primary data sources in the form of 20 articles. The results of this research found that there were 13 articles that explained the steps of the sociodrama method and 7 other articles did not explain the steps of the sociodrama method. Based on this analysis, researchers found that the sociodrama method was able to increase students’ active learning. Apart from that, the application of the sociodrama method is also very effective in improving speaking skills, honing students’ creativity, fostering a spirit of solidarity and fostering cooperation between students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk melihat seberapa jauh pengaruh model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching terhadap kemampuan pemecahan peserta didik SMA Al-Ishlah Pontianak. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain eksperimen semu dengan melibatkan seluruh peserta didik kelas XI (18 peserta didik) sebagai sampel penelitian. Alhasil, penelitian ini menerapkan teknik sensus atau pengambilan sampel total. Pemungutan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes sehingga bisa mengukur kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pemecahan masalah yang berkaitan dengan materi yang telah dipelajari, serta observasi terhadap keterlaksanaan rencana pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji paired sample t-test setelah memenuhi asumsi normalitas dan homogenitas varians. Hasil uji statistik memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh dari model reciprocal teaching terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (sig < 0,05). Secara lebih spesifik, rata-rata nilai peserta didik pada pertemuan pertama meningkat dari 18,83 menjadi 88,33, pada pertemuan kedua dari 18,44 menjadi 88,5, dan pada pertemuan ketiga dari 18,77 menjadi 88,77.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the low literacy level in Indonesia, which is reflected in the low ranking in the international literacy index. Teachers have a vital role as a motivator who can shape students' reading habits and increase their interest in reading. This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers to motivate students on reading skills at SD Negeri 09, Sungai Ambawang District. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observations of eight teachers and student behavior in grade IV of SD Negeri 09 Sungai Ambawang. Data analysis is carried out by the stages of data reduction, presentation of data in narrative form, and verification for validation of results. The results of the study show that although teachers have provided motivation at the beginning of learning, most of them are not optimal in asking students to read in front of the class, providing encouragement to read at the end of the lesson, and reminding students to make reading a habit. In addition, teachers tend not to remind the importance of taking advantage of free time to read. This study highlights the importance of the role of teachers in fostering a sustainable reading culture and making a significant contribution to improving student literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of grade IV students of SDN 34 Parit Madura Sungai Ambawang in completing the operation of counting the number of addition of the storing technique. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study uses test questions. The researcher gave test questions to students in grade IV IV SDN 34 Parit Madura Sungai Ambawang in analyzing the ability of students to complete the number counting operation of the addition of the storing technique. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that students' ability to calculate long stacked summing numbers was still very low. There were 2 out of 14 students who could answer the thesis questions well. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' ability to calculate long stacked summation numbers is still very low

Abstract

The research background is based on the importance of variation skills in increasing students' learning effectiveness and motivation. This study aims to analyze the teaching variation skills of teachers at SDN 09 Sungai Ambawang, West Kalimantan, especially in teaching styles, media use, and interaction patterns during the learning process in grade IV. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that grade IV teachers at SDN 09 Sungai Ambawang applied a variety of teaching styles quite well, including the use of voice variations, eye contact, and limb movements. The teacher also showed the effective use of graphic media, although there are limitations in the use of audio and projection media. However, the lack of variation in the patterns of interaction between students and the palpable or manipulated media indicates that there is room for improvement. Teachers have applied several variation skills well, there are several aspects that need to be improved, such as the use of more diverse media and increased interaction between students. This study suggests the need for additional training for teachers and the procurement of more complete media facilities to support the achievement of more optimal educational goals

Abstract

This study aims to determine the actualization of the value of global diversity in the behavior of grade IV students at SD Negeri 34 Parit Madura. The research method used is a calytic method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this study uses observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that grade IV students of SD Negeri 34 Parit Madura show positive results in various aspects of diversity attitudes. The attitude of knowing and appreciating other cultures obtained an average of 80%, indicating that most students are able to appreciate and accept cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity. Intercultural communication skills are also excellent with an average of 88%, reflecting students' skills in interacting effectively with various cultural backgrounds. Openness and tolerance reached an average of 79%, indicating students' readiness to learn from different perspectives and adjust to a multicultural environment. Finally, attitudes of reflection and responsibility towards diversity experiences reached an average of 87%, indicating students' understanding of human rights and rejection of discrimination. Overall, students showed a strong and positive attitude in applying the value of diversity

Abstract

Abstract: his study seeks to evaluate the Mathematical Reasoning skills of students who take the Mathematical Modeling course. The participants of this investigation consisted of 12 people from the Mathematics Education Study Program, consisting of 2 men and 10 women. Data collection was carried out through a written assessment in the form of a mathematical reasoning competency measurement test accompanied by an interview. This research is classified as qualitative research because the data collected is assessed descriptively based on the fulfillment of specified indicators. The results of the data analysis of this study show that overall, the level of proficiency of students in mathematical reasoning regarding the formulation of conjectures is at a percentage. 66.66% are categorized as good, Performing mathematical manipulation with a percentage of 58.33% is still considered not good, Compiling evidence, providing reasons or proving the correctness of the solution, with a percentage of 50.00% in the category is still not good, on the ability to draw conclusions from statements, with a percentage of 58.33% in the category of not good, while examining arguments with a percentage of 41.66% while in the ability to find patterns or properties of mathematical phenomena for generalize with a percentage of 33.33% in the category of poor in the adequate range. Keywords: Mathematical Reasoning Ability, Mathematical Modeling Abstrak: Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengevaluasi keterampilan Penalaran Matematis mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Pemodelan Matematika. Peserta investigasi ini terdiri dari 12 orang dari Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, terdiri dari 2 orang laki-laki dan 10 orang perempuan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penilaian tertulis berupa tes pengukuran kompetensi penalaran matematis yang disertai wawancara. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif karena data yang terkumpul dinilai secara deskriptif berdasarkan pemenuhan indikator yang ditentukan. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, tingkat kemahiran siswa dalam penalaran matematika mengenai rumusan dugaan berada pada persentase. 66,66% berkategori baik, Melaksanakan manipulasi matematis dengan persentase 58,33% tergolong masih kurang baik, Menyusun bukti, memberikan alasan atau pembuktian atas kebenaran penyelesaian, dengan persentase 50,00% dalam kategori masih kurang baik, pada Kemampuan menarik kesimpulan dari pernyataan, dengan persentase 58,33% dalam kategori kurang baik, sedangkan memeriksa argument dengan persentase 41,66% sedangkan pada kemampuan menemukan pola atau sifat-sifat fenomena matematika untuk melakukan generalisasi dengan persentase 33,33% dalam kategori kurang baik dalam rentang cukup. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis, Pemodelan Matematis

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi terutama pada peserta didik kelas I yang lebih senang bermain kegiatan kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung sehingga peserta didik berkesulitan berkonsentrasi dan kurangnya penggunaan media membuat peserta didik merasa cepat bosan saat belajar membaca sehingga kurangnya keterampilan membaca permulaan pada peserta didik kelas 1¸ untuk itu salah satu cara yang dilakukan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan di perlukannya sebuah media agar belajar membaca permulaan berjalan dengan efektif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pop up book yang layak, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Reseach and Development (R&D) atau penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, Analyze, Design, Development¸ plementation, and Evalute. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan tiga tahapan saja yaitu Analyze, Design, Development dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu dan biaya untuk penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini berdasarkan ahli media memperoleh sebesar 75% dikategorikan “Layak”. Ahli materi memperoleh 80% dikategorikan “Layak”. Ahli bahasa memperoleh sebesar 88% dikategorikan “Sangat Layak”. Hasil kepraktisan dari angket respons siswa mendapatkan sebesar 89,06% dikategorikan “Sangat Praktis”. Hasil dari keefektifan sebesar 87,5% dikategorikan efektif menurut KKM yang telah ditetapkan adalah 60.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Smart Box yang layak, praktis dan efektif untuk menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila pada kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran tradisional seperti papan tulis dan buku gambar serta metode ceramah tidak efektif menarik perhatian siswa, yang mengakibatkan kurangnya fokus, ketertarikan, dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, media Smart Box dikembangkan dengan fitur menarik dan interaktif yang dirancang untuk merangsang keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima langkah: analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pada pengembangan ini menggunakan tiga taapan saja yaitu Analyze, design dan development dikarenakan kurangnya waktu dan biaya untuk penelitian dan pengembangan. Validasi ahli media dan materi menunjukkan bahwa media ini layak dan sangat layak digunakan dengan skor masing-masing 84% dan 100%. Kajian kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa media Smart Box dinilai sangat praktis dengan skor 93%. Kajian keefektifan, berdasarkan observasi keaktifan siswa, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan N-gain sebesar 0,64 yang menunjukkan kategori "sedang". Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Smart Box efektif dalam menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa di kelas IV dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Numeracy is the knowledge and skills to use various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve practical problems in a variety of daily life contexts and analyze information displayed in various forms (graphs, tables, charts, etc.) and then use the interpretation of the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions. researchers want to contribute to schools by analyzing the literacy and numeracy skills of students from three indicators of literacy and numeracy skills. This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques with tests and observations. The results showed that the numeracy skills of SDN 25 Sungai raya students were still in the low category. The first indicator is in the low category, the second and third indicators are in the very low category. The conclusion obtained in this study is that students of SDN 25 Sungai Raya are lacking in high-level thinking. The ability to think at this level is not instantly obtained, but must be trained. One form of training is to familiarize students with higher order thinking in every learning activity.
