Abstract

This study aims to clarify the influence of factors such as ethical idealism orientation, retaliation, professional commitment, and anticipatory socialization on the intention to whistleblowung. The research uses a quantitative approach. The sampling method employed in this study is non probability sampling, with purposive sampling as the technique. The sample consists of active undergraduate accounting students who have completed the Business Ethics and Accounting Profession courses. The number of respondents was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan method, resulting in a sample size of 260 individuals. The findings of this study reveal that: (1) Ethical idealism orientation has a positive influence on accounting students' intention to whistleblowing; (2) Retaliation does not have a significant influence on accounting students' intention to whistleblowing; (3) Professional commitment does not have a significant influence on accounting students' intention to whistleblowing; (4) Anticipatory socialization does not have a significant influence on accounting students' intention to whistleblowinging.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze patient satisfaction levels with inpatient services at Soedarsono Darmosoewito Hospital in Batam City from July to October 2024. The method used is a survey with a descriptive approach to describe the phenomenon of patient satisfaction. The sample of this study consists of 50 patients who were hospitalized, with the sampling technique of accidental sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation and interviews, as well as questionnaires measuring five service dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results show that overall, patient satisfaction with inpatient services at Soedarsono Darmosoewito Hospital is positive. The dimensions of physical evidence, reliability, and empathy received good scores, with particular attention to cleanliness, comfort, and staff attitudes. However, several aspects need improvement, especially in communication and waiting times. This study provides recommendations for service improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract This study analyzes the effect of Hybrid Leadership Style and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. Belitang Panen Raya 1. This study’s sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the extent to which the independent variables (hybrid leadership style and work environment) influence the dependent variable (employee performance). The results indicate that, mathematically, the Hybrid Leadership Style has a positive relationship but does not have a significant impact. In contrast, the Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Keywords: Hybrid Leadership Style, Work Environment, Employee Performance

Abstract

Maternal and infant mortality rates are one of the indicators to measure the health status of a country. Early detection activities to overcome morbidity and The death of mothers, babies and toddlers can be done by implementing continuous care or Continuity Of Care (COC) which starts from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, to family planning. The purpose of this study is to provide midwifery care to Mrs. W comprehensively and continuously starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, neonates and family planning. The type of descriptive research used is a case study. The research instrument uses a descriptive approach method and is documented in the form of SOAP. In this care, the author collects data through interviews, observations, physical examinations, supporting examinations, documentation studies and bibliography studies. This study was conducted in May-August 2024. From the results of the provision of pregnancy care, it was found that the problem was that the mother had mild anemia and was given education on nutritional patterns and 1x1 fe tablets . During labor, the mother walked normally and was given effluent massage care. Postpartum care went normally. In newborn care, all were found to be within normal limits. While in family planning care, Mrs. W used a 3-month injection   Abstrak Angka kematian ibu dan bayi merupakan salah satu indikator untuk mengukur derajat kesehatan bagi suatu negara. Kegiatan upaya deteksi dini untuk mengatasi kesakitan maupun kematian baik ibu, bayi dan balita tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan salah satunya yaitu implementasi asuhan berkelanjutan atau Continuity Of Care (COC) yang dimulai dari masa kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, bayi baru lahir, sampai dengan KB. Tujuan penelitian ini mampu memberikan asuhan kebidanan pada Ny. W secara komprehensif dan berkesinambungan mulai dari kehamilan, bersalin, nifas, neonatus dan KB. jenis penelitian deskriptif yang digunakan adalah studi kasus (case study), Instrumen penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan yang bersifat deskriptif dan didokumentasikan dalam bentuk SOAP. Dalam asuhan ini, penulis mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, pemeriksaan penunjang, studi dokumentasi dan studi daftar pustaka. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2024. Dari hasil pemberian asuhan kehamilan ditemukan masalah yaitu ibu mengalami anemia ringan dan diberikan edukasi pola nutrisi dan tablet fe 1x1. Pada saat persalinan ibu berjalan dengan normal dan diberikan asuhan massage efflurage. Pada asuhan nifas berjalan dengan normal. Pada asuhan bayi baru lahir didapatkan semua dalam batas normal. Sedangkan pada asuhan KB Ny. W menggunakan KB suntik 3 bulan.

Abstract

Maternal nutrition status of pregnancy is affected by development and fetus growth, that nutrition will consumed pregnancy mother used to fetus growth as big as 40% and for mother requirement 60%. To know the nutrition status during the pregnancy, that used is measurement on Mid Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC). The actual size of normal by mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) is ≥ 23,5 cm. MUAC to be trusted relation with the weight of newborn baby. Research intending to figure out the relation between the nutrition status of pregnant mothers based on the measurement of Mid Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) with the wight of babies born.The methods of this research is Quantitatif  with retrospektifapproach. using secondary data and with number of the respondent is 35. Statistic test used on chi square test.The result of this research, of 35 respondents 33 mothers with MUAC  ≥ 23,5 cm (94,3%) gives birth to babies with normal birth weight of 28 babies (84,8%) and babies with large birth wight is 5 babies (15,2%). And 2 mothers with MUAC ≤ 23,5 cm (5,7%) gives birth to babies with low birth weight of 2 babies (5,7%). The result of this research used SPSS 16.0 that based on Chi-Square test is acquired a significant correlation with two variables is shown by p=0,000 (p value < 0,05).The conclusions of this research it’s means that there is a relation of nutrition status of pregnant mothers based measurement on MUAC with the weight of the baby born

Abstract

The success improvement on thehealth aspects is prominently directed by attempts to reduce the mortality rate of both infants and toddlers. One of the efforts is routinely give the complete vaccinations for them. This study aims to examine the correlation of the knowledge levels and role of health personnel of the Integrated Heath Post to provide pentabioand measles immunizationsfor toddlers particularly the ones under three-year old in Buliang Health Centre of BatuAji. The research design used in this study was a descriptive analytic design with 21 respondents chosen through total sampling method. The data was analyzed by chi square statistical test at significance level of 95%. The results show that 17 respondents have good knowledgeand able to implement their knowledge on vaccinations well. From 17 respondents whom actively engaged in vaccination process, 13 of them are able to perform the pentabio and measles vaccinations well. Besides, from the chi square test, it is obtained p-value > 0.05, thus, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation of the knowledge levels and role of health personnel of the Integrated Heath Post to provide pentabioand measles vaccinationsfor under three-year toddlers. Finally, it is expected that both the health personnel of the integrated health post as well as the civil society to actively take a part in increasing the health quality of the children through giving complete and proper vaccinations for them.

Abstract

Contraception is an effort to prevent unwanted pregnancy; it can be either temporary or permanent. SDKI data at Riau Islands in 2007 showed that injected contraception was the most prominent method (50%). The objective of this study was to identify the correlation between use of injected DMPA hormonal contraception and weight gain. This is an analytical observation study with cross sectional approach. The study was done on June to July 2017. Population of the study consisted of 422 acceptors of DMPA injection visiting Erliksana Midwife Clinic in 2016. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Data were analyzed by using chi square. 9 out of 35 respondents (52.9%) in less than 1 year use category revealed weight gain. On more than 1 year use category 16 respondents (88.9%) showed weight gain. The p value was 0.027. There was correlation between injected contraception use and weight gain. The midwives should give socialization about safe contraception use and about side effect of contraception.

Abstract

Background scabies is a disease caused by ectoparasit Sarcoptes scabiei, which is mostly being ignored so that become a common health problems throughout the world. Scabies disease commonly affects individuals living in groups such as inhostels, boarding school, prisons, hospitals, densely populated settlements, and nursing homes that are equally at high risk for dissemination various skin diseases. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge and the behavior of swapping towels, clothes or prayer tools, and crowded sleeping with the incident of scabies on students at Boarding School Al-Kautsar Batam. Method this research used the cross sectional methodology, with total sampling technique. As many as 122 students were taken for sample. Data were analyzed using chi-square. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between knowledge (p = 0,007, RR 3,026), swapping towels (p = 0,019, RR 2,614), alternately clothing or prayer tools (p = 0,006, RR 3,985), crowded sleeping (p = 0,001, RR 4,303) with the incident of scabies at Boarding School Al-Kautsar Batam. Conclusion Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between knowledge and the behavior of swapping towels, clothes or prayer tools, crowded sleeping with the incident of scabies.

Abstract

The purpose of education in Kindergarten is to develop the child's development. One of child development is the development of fine motor and memory / short-term memory capacity of the child. The development of fine motor is a smooth coordination that uses smooth muscles, while the ability of short-term memory is a memory capability lasting a few seconds or at most a few minutes. The expectations of parents and teachers with the fine motor skills of children who grow normally along with the ability of memory / short-term memory of children. The research was conducted at the Islamic Education Foundation of TK Cendana Batam city for being supported by the stimulation of fine motor development and short-term memory by the teachers at Tk. For the aim that children do not have fine motor background and poor short-term memory skills. This research method is analytic observasional with approach of cross sectional conducted at Islamic Education Foundation of TK Cendana Batam City on 2017. Population in this research is student at Islamic Education Foundation of TK Cendana Batam City on  2017 which amounted 52 peoples, using technique of taking total sampling. The statistical test used is chi-square test using the degree of significance of 95%  from 52 respondents, where 26 respondents with smooth motor development of children who are not in accordance with the development of childrend with classification of 12 respondents (46.2%) have short-term memory capacity of children less, and 14 respondents (53,8%) have ability of memory short-term good, while 26 respondents who have a smooth motor development in accordance with age of development with a classification of 26 respondents (100%) have good short-term memory ability of children. The results of statistical test with chi-square obtained value p value = 0.00 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.There is a correlation between the Development of Smooth Motoric Children With Short Term Memory Capacity of Children In Islamic Education Foundation TK Cendana Batam City on 2017

Abstract

Adolescents are the group that most often visits fast food restaurants that sell a lot of junk food, even up to three times a week. Junk food has an unbalanced nutrient content. This study aims to determine the relationship between the frequency of eating junk food and the nutritional status of 10th grade students at SMA Kartini Batam.This research method uses a cross-sectional design carried out at Batam Kartini High School. The sampling technique uses Slovin formula with a sample of 52 students. Data collection using questionnaires and anthropometric measurements. Data analysis using Spearman rank correlation test.From 22 respondents with a percentage (42.3%) whose frequency of eating junk food is rare and 28 respondents with a percentage (53.8%) have normal nutritional status. Based on the correlation test it is known that there is a significant relationship between the frequency of eating junk food and nutritional status in students with p value 0,000. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the frequency of eating junk food and nutritional status in 10th grade students at SMA Kartini Batam in 2018.
