Abstract

Permintaan makanan organik yang terus tumbuh menciptakan persaingan bisnis, banyak super market menyediakan produk organik. Hal ini merupakan sesuatu yang penting bagi pelaku pemasaran organik untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat beli konsumen. Niat beli makanan organik dipengaruhi oleh health consciousness, food safety concern, dan perceived value. Melihat potensi usaha pertanian organik, khususnya padi organik, banyak petani mulai beralih dari sistem pertanian organik, salah satunya adalah Aliansi Petani Padi dan Polowijo Organik Boyolali (APPOLI). Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan penerapan MMBE ICS, pengemasan dengan vakum dan pelatihan POC. Metode pelaksanaan adalah FGD, penyampaian materi, pelatihan dan implementasi, serta evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan APPOLI mampu menerapkan MMBE sehingga pendistribusian dokumen ICS menjadi lebih efisien dalam waktu pengiriman, kelengkapan data dan kemudahan akses. Petani mampu mengemas dengan vakum sehingga beras lebih tahan lama, dan petani mampu membuat dan mengimplementasikan POC.

Abstract

Unstructured inventory management leads to stockpiling, high storage costs, and the risk of product damage due to excessive storage time. This study aims to analyze organic rice inventory control in the Pangudi Bogo Farmers Group, Dlingo Village, Mojosongo District, Boyolali Regency, using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This study employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation in the Pangudi Bogo Farmers Group's granary section. Data analysis was conducted using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, supplemented by calculations of Safety Stock, Reorder Point (ROP), Maximum Inventory, and Total Inventory Cost (TIC) based on demand and inventory data for the period August 2024–July 2025. The results showed that the EOQ calculation for each type of organic rice resulted in an optimal order quantity of 4,097 kg for red rice, 3,054 kg for black rice, and 3,161 kg for brown rice, with order frequencies of 9, 8, and 6 times respectively during the study period. The safety stock values obtained were 136 kg, 91 kg, and 76 kg, while the reorder points were 635.67 kg, 424.12 kg, and 353.62 kg, and the maximum inventory levels were 4,233 kg, 3,145 kg, and 3,237 kg for the three product types. The total inventory cost (TIC) using the EOQ method per product type was Rp16,069,464 per period, which was more efficient than the current system, which resulted in inventory accumulation of up to 70,840 kg and product damage of 1,800 kg during the study period. Abstract

The implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in organic rice farming is an important effort to improve productivity, product quality, and agricultural sustainability. The success of GAP implementation largely depends on farmers' participation in farming activities. This study aimed to analyze the participation level of organic rice farmers in implementing GAP and the factors influencing it in Dlingo District, Boyolali Regency. The study employed a quantitative survey approach involving 30 members of the Pangudi Bogo Farmer Group selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results showed that farmers’ participation in GAP implementation was categorized as high, with an average score of 4.13. Farmers were generally 58 years old, had elementary school education backgrounds, and mainly cultivated organic red rice. Motivation, farming experience, education level, land size, and age contributed to farmers' participation in GAP implementation. Strengthening farmers’ capacity through extension services and technical assistance is essential to support sustainable organic farming development.
