Abstract

Demand for tilapia consumption cannot be fulfilled due to limited availability. Intensive cultivation is carried out by increasing the stocking density to overcome this. An increase in stocking density can lead to a decrease in water quality which in turn can inhibit growth. To overcome this problem, biofloc system cultivation is carried out with herbal supplements through feed to maintain water quality and optimal fish growth. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ginger diet on the growth of tilapia reared for 60 days compared to the ginger and garlic diet for 90 days with biofloc system cultivation. The study was conducted by the experimental method using a completely randomized design, with 3 treatments, 1 control, and each was repeated 4 times for 60 days. The results showed that cultivating tilapia using the biofloc system with the ginger diet for 60 days significantly increased growth, while the garlic diet for 90 days was only significant for weight gain. A ginger diet for 60 days on tilapia and 90 days on gourami with a biofloc cultivation system has the same pattern and effectiveness on growth with an optimal dose of 5.63 g kg-1 feed. The cultivation of the biofloc system was more effective with the ginger diet for 60 days compared to the ginger and garlic diet for 90 days on fish growth. This shows that biofloc cultivation for 60 days with a ginger diet is recommended for fish farming.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ikan lambat dan biaya pakan yang tinggi merupakan permasalahan yang sering dihadapi dalam budidaya ikan gurami. Ikan gurami membutuhkan waktu pemeliharaan lebih dari satu tahun untuk mencapai berat minimal 500 gram. Biaya pakan dalam budidaya ikan hampir mencapai 60% dari biaya produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi larva magot (Hermetia illucens) terhadap pertumbuhan ikan, retensi protein, dan efisiensi pakan, serta  menentukan kombinasi substitusi larva magot yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan, retensi protein, dan efisiensi pakan tertinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah: P1 (pemberian 100% pakan komersial); P2 (pemberian kombinasi larva magot 25% dan pakan komersial 75%); P3 (pemberian kombinasi larva  magot 50% dan pakan komersial 50%); P4 (pemberian kombinasi larva magot 75% dan pakan komersial 25%); dan P5 (pemberian larva magot 100%). Benih ikan gurami dengan bobot rata-rata 7 - 10 gram dipelihara dalam jaring berukuran 50 x 50 x 50 cm dengan kepadatan 8 ekor/unit percobaan selama 42 hari. Pemberian pakan dilakukan dua kali sehari pada pukul 07.00 dan 16.00 WIB dengan feeding rate 5% dari biomasa ikan. Variabel penelitian meliputi laju pertumbuhan spesifik ikan, retensi protein dan efisiensi pakan. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam, dilanjutkan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian larva magot (Hermetia illucens) sebagai substitusi pakan ikan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ikan, retensi protein, dan efisiensi pakan. Kombinasi larva magot 25% dan pakan komersial 75% (P2) menghasilkan pertumbuhan ikan, retensi protein, dan efisiensi pakan tertinggi, berturut-turut sebesar 3,3 ± 0,1 gram/hari; 73,16 ± 7,47%; dan 79,44 ± 7,18%.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi dalam pembenihan ikan gurami adalah pertumbuhan ikan lambat dan penyediaan pakan ikan. Hal ini menjadi kendala dalam peningkatan produksi benih ikan dalam mendukung produksi ikan gurami nasional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap. Penelitian tahap I bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kombinasi pakan maggot dan cacing sutera terhadap pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan, dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan gurami (Osphronemus gouramy). Penelitian tahap I terdiri dari tiga perlakuan dengan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah: P1 (pemberian maggot), P2 (pemberian cacing sutera), dan P3 (pemberian kombinasi maggot dan cacing sutera). Penelitian tahap II bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecernaan pakan benih ikan gurami. Penelitian tahap II terdiri dari dua perlakuan dengan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah: P1 (pemberian maggot) dan P2 (pemberian cacing sutera). Parameter yang diamati adalah kecernaan pakan. Data hasil penelitian tahap I dan II yang meliputi pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan, kecernaan pakan, dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan gurami dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam. Jika terdapat perbedaan antar perlakuan dilanjutkan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi pakan maggot (Hermetia illucens) dan cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.) berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan, dan kecernaan pakan, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan gurami. Pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan tertinggi diperoleh pada benih ikan gurami yang diberi kombinasi pakan maggot dan cacing sutera. Kecernaan pakan benih ikan gurami yang diberi pakan maggot lebih tinggi daripada benih ikan gurami yang diberi pakan cacing sutera.

Abstract

Identifikasi jenis ikan air tawar berdasarkan kualitas air dan kondisi wilayah merupakan tantangan penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya perikanan. Dalam penelitian ini, metodologi Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) digunakan untuk mengembangkan model untuk mengidentifikasi jenis ikan air tawar dengan menganalisis kemiripan kasus (case similarity). Model ini memanfaatkan data historis yang mencakup parameter kualitas air seperti pH, suhu, oksigen terlarut, kandungan ammonia, total padatan terlarut, serta faktor lingkungan seperti suhu udara dan ketinggian daratan. Setiap jenis ikan memiliki preferensi lingkungan spesifik, sehingga pendekatan berbasis kasus memungkinkan untuk membandingkan kondisi saat ini dengan kasus-kasus sebelumnya yang memiliki karakteristik serupa. Dengan menggunakan algoritma kemiripan berbasis metrik, model mengambil kasus terdekat dan menawarkan prediksi jenis ikan yang paling sesuai dengan parameter kualitas air dan kondisi wilayah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model berbasis case similarity dapat dijadikan dasar pengembangan sistem sebagai alat bantu dalam manajemen ekosistem perairan tawar.

Abstract

Gourami is an economically significant fish in the aquaculture sector due to its high market demand and relatively stable price. However, it is also challenging to cultivate, with disease outbreaks being one of the primary difficulties. Early diagnosis of gourami fish diseases requires expertise from fish health specialists, who are often difficult to find due to their limited availability. With advancements in artificial intelligence-based technology, this study developed an expert system to diagnose gourami fish diseases based on observed symptoms. The system employs the Certainty Factor (CF) approach to estimate the likelihood of a particular disease affecting the fish. The Certainty Factor approach utilizes a knowledge base derived from expert knowledge to address uncertainty in diagnosis. The certainty factor weights are determined based on confidence levels from both experts and users to generate an accurate diagnosis. This expert system was developed using data from 20 types of gourami fish diseases and 38 associated symptoms. The system successfully identified diseases with a certain level of confidence and provided appropriate treatment recommendations based on the confidence level obtained. By implementing this expert system, the risk of disease outbreaks can be minimized, thereby improving efficiency and productivity in gourami fish farming while helping maintain fish health and reducing economic losses caused by disease.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi peternak kambing Desa Langgar, Kecamatan Kejobong, Kabupaten Purbalingga adalah pertumbuhan dan perkembangbiakan kambingnya lambat dan sering terserang penyakit kudis. Para peternak masih beternak kambing secara tradisional dan tidak dilandasi dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan beternak kambing yang memadai. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengembangkan beternak kambing secara intensif di Desa Langgar, Kecamatan Kejobong, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan metode pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan cara alih teknologi melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan meliputi pelatihan pembuatan pakan ternak dengan metode fermentasi dan  pengendalian penyakit pada ternak kambing. Kelompok sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah peternak kambing warga Muhammadiyah di Desa Langgar, Kecamatan Kejobong, Kabupaten Purbalingga. Jumlah kelompok sasaran sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota kelompok peternak kambing di Desa Langgar, Kecamatan Kejobong, Kabupaten Purbalingga dalam beternak kambing secara intensif. Pelatihan beternak kambing secara intensif dan upaya menanggulangi penyakit pada kambing, serta pembuatan pakan ternak fermentasi telah memberikan tambahan pengetahuan bagi peternak kambing untuk mengembangkan usaha beternak kambing melalui pemanfaatan teknologi baru.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the effect of the product quality and price variables toward customer’s satisfaction. Method of data collection in this research is using the survey method with questionnaires. Population in this research is student of Ganesa Vocational School. Based on the results of the analysis, it indicates that product quality has a significant effect on the customer’s satisfaction indicated by the t significant value 0.000 less than α =0.05. product quality and price significantly influence the customer’s satisfaction shown by F significant value of 0.000 smaller than α=0.05 and are able contribute to the customer’s satisfaction variables of 0.515 or 51.5 % the remaining 40.6% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this research.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the effect of the service quality and price variables toward customer loyalty. Method of data collection in this research is using the survey method with questionnaires. Population in this research is the customers of Speedy in Cimanggis. Based on the results of the analysis, it indicates that the service quality significantly influences the customer loyalty, shown by the t significant value of 0.000 smaller that α 0.05 with the regression coefficient of 2.537. service quality has a significant effect on the customer loyalty indicated by the t significant value 0.000 less than α =0.05. service quality and price significantly influence the customer loyalty shown by F significant value of 0.000 smaller than α=0.05 and are able contribute to the customer loyalty variables of 0.504 or 50.4%. the remaining 49.6% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine whether there is a positive influence and significant correlation between the learning environment and learning motivation either alone or together on student achievement Al Lughah . The population in this study is Al-Lughah students totaling 180 students with an error level of 5%, the samples of 120 students are obtained using random sampling techniques. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis concludes that (1) There is a positive and significant influence between parental attention on learning achievement t count = 9.355 and t table = 1.876, sig 0.000). (2) There is a positive and significant influence between the learning environment on learning achievement t count = 2.513 and t table = 1.980, sig 0.000). (3) There is a positive and significant influence between the learning environment and parental attention together on learning achievement F = 5,439 and t; Ftable = 3.07, sig 0.000

Abstract

The waste problem in Dukuhwaluh Village was still a lot of household waste thrown away in any places. This household waste causes unpleasant odors, environmental pollution, various disease outbreaks, aesthetic disturbances, and flooding during the rainy season. Another problem encountered in Dukuhwaluh Village is the provision of feed for catfish farmers, the price of which is increasingly expensive. This causes the development of the catfish farming business to be very slow and even threatened with collapse. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of fish farmers in Dukuh Waluh Village in cultivating maggots using media from household organic waste. This community service activity also aims to develop magot as an alternative fish food that is cheap, has high nutritional value and is environmentally friendly. The implementation of this community service uses research-based community empowerment methods. Meanwhile, the approach method used in implementing community service is active and collaborative participation. The results of community service activities can increase the knowledge and skills of the Dukuhwaluh Village fish farmer in maggot cultivation. The fish farmer group has also been able to practice magot cultivation using household organic waste properly and correctly, as well as applying the results of maggot cultivation to feed catfish.
