Abstract

Teacher performance is very necessary for the progress of the nation and this of course relies on the teacher. This of course requires special assessment and attention. This researcher aims to determine the effect of education, work experience and motivation on teacher performance at one of vocational school. The research method used quantitative methods. The variables used in this study were education, work experience and motivation as independent variables and teacher performance as the dependent variable. In the data collection process, it was carried out using a questionnaire which was distributed to 37 respondents, namely all vocational school teachers. The data obtained was then processed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results showed that education had a significant effect on teacher performance, work experience and motivation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

This article addresses the challenges and opportunities arising from the interaction between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and religion in the digital era. Concurrently with the advancement of technology, AI has demonstrated its capability to access and analyze an extensive array of data, encompassing religious texts among others. This phenomenon introduces new prospects for the interpretation and comprehension of religious texts, previously confined to the purview of theologians and scholars but now rendered accessible to a broader spectrum of individuals. Nevertheless, this development also engenders a constellation of challenges. The present article endeavors to elucidate the manner in which religion can acclimate itself to the progressively augmenting role of AI within our society. The foremost challenges that confront religion in this digital epoch shall be expounded upon. Moreover, an examination of how religion can harness this technology for its own purposes will be undertaken. Furthermore, an inquiry into the ethical boundaries governing the role of technology within the realm of religion will be conducted. With a focal point on these inquiries, the article seeks to furnish a comprehensive delineation of the role of AI in the religiosity of the future.Artikel ini membahas tantangan dan peluang yang muncul dari interaksi antara kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan agama dalam era digital. Seiring dengan semakin canggihnya teknologi, AI telah mampu mengakses dan menganalisis data yang sangat luas, termasuk teks-teks keagamaan. Hal ini di satu sisi memberikan kemungkinan baru untuk interpretasi dan pemahaman teks agama, yang sebelumnya menjadi wilayah eksklusif para teolog dan ulama, sekarang dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja. Meskipun demikian, hal ini juga menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan. Artikel ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana agama dapat beradaptasi dengan peran AI yang semakin meningkat dalam masyarakat kita. Apa tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi oleh agama di era digital ini? Bagaimana agama bisa memanfaatkan teknologi ini untuk tujuan mereka sendiri? Dan apakah ada batas etika bagi peran teknologi dalam agama? Dengan berfokus pada pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini, artikel ini berusaha untuk memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang peran AI dalam agama masa depan.

Abstract

Sex outside of marriage is prohibited in Muslim society due to religious rules and its potential negative impacts, such as lineage disruption and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). In Aceh, adult sexual relations are governed by Islamic law under Qawun Jinayah, which mandates public punishment for offenders. Despite this law being enforced since 2002, extramarital sex and the spread of STDs remain prevalent. This qualitative research uses data from journals and publications in databases like MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, PubMed, Elsevier, and legal sources. It also reviews textbooks and Qanun Aceh regulations. The study found that prohibitions and preventive measures of Sharia law have not effectively curbed extramarital sexual practices. Young people, especially those under 18, are particularly vulnerable due to inadequate sexual education and insufficient understanding of Islamic law, making them susceptible to sexual violence, STDs, and legal punishments. The research highlights the need for a multifaceted approach to prevention, combining religious, cultural, and comprehensive sexual education for children. Educating youth about religious prohibitions and health risks can reduce their vulnerability and prevent legal repercussions from norm violations. An integrated educational approach in Aceh, which includes collaboration between educators, religious leaders, and policymakers, is crucial. This holistic curriculum would promote healthier and more informed lifestyles among young people, addressing both religious and health education needs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Jumlah Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) terus mengalami peningkatan seiiring dengan sehatnya kondisi perekonomian Malaysia. Beberapa alasan warga negara Indonesia memilih bekerja ke Malaysia adalah (1) kurangnya peluang pekerjaan di daerah asal; (2) ingin memperoleh pendapatan yang lebih tinggi di Malaysia; (3) berkeinginan untuk memiliki aset dan investasi jangka panjang; (4) ajakan oleh keluarga dan orang-orang yang dikenal yang telah sukses di Malaysia. Semua alasan tersebut telah menguatkan tekat para PMI untuk migrasi ke Malaysia, meskipun harus membawa anak-anak untuk menetap di Malaysia padahal mereka tidak mendapatkan izin tinggal secara legal. Dampak bagi anak-anak yang tidak memiliki izin tinggal adalah selain akses pendidikan menjadi salah satu kendala, akses kesehatan juga demikian. Banyak anak-anak PMI yang tidak mendapatkan informasi kesehatan yang tepat dan memadai, sehingga seringkali dijumpai anak-anak yang sakit dan tidak dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Sosialisasi adalah cara edukasi yang dipandang tepat untuk mengubah serta menerapkan etika batuk dan bersin dengan baik dan benar. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk sosialisasi edukasi secara interaktif berjalan lancar. Aktivitas ini dilaksanakan pada sanggar belajar (SB) Hulu Langat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan antara lain; (1) memberi gambaran lokasi dan keadaan sanggar belajar Hulu Langat. (2) Kondisi kesehatan anak-anak PMI pada sanggar belajar Hulu Langat dan (3) Masalah kesehatan yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak PMI di sanggar Hulu Langat. Adapun lokasi Sanggar Belajar Hulu Langat B52 Kampung Batu 14, Hulu Langat, Selangor, dikawasan Lembah Klang, Malaysia.

Abstract

Research related to Merdeka Belajar Campus Merdeka has been written, but no one has focused on studying the networks and collaborations of students, lecturers and partners that emerged as a result of the implementation of Merdeka Belajar programs. This article will look at how the Independent Learning Curriculum is able to build networks and collaboration between students, lecturers and partners. The case study approach was chosen as the method in this research because it is in accordance with the scope of the research, namely only examining networks and collaboration between students, lecturers and partners that were formed through the Independent Learning policy at one tertiary institution, namely Abulyatama University. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentation, which are used to obtain data from primary and secondary sources that are relevant to the social phenomenon being studied. The research results show that collaboration between students, lecturers and partners can be established through Merdeka Belajar programs (teaching campuses, internships and independent studies, student exchanges, independent entrepreneurship, even teaching practitioners). The Merdeka Belajar program has increased the frequency and intensity of collaboration between students, lecturers and partners quite high, with good quality and positive results.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan gadget di kalangan anak-anak semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, termasuk di kalangan anak-anak migran di Malaysia. Gadget menjadi sarana hiburan dan pembelajaran, tetapi penggunaan yang tidak terkendali dapat membawa dampak buruk bagi kesehatan fisik, mental, dan sosial anak-anak. Edukasi mengenai bahaya penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan sangat penting untuk diterapkan, terutama bagi keluarga migran yang mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan pengawasan yang optimal. Sosialisasi adalah cara edukasi yang dipandang tepat untuk menyampaikan bahaya penggunaan gadget dalam waktu yang lama. Beberapa dampak utama dari penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan pada anak-anak termasuk masalah kesehatan fisik, seperti gangguan penglihatan, postur tubuh yang buruk, dan risiko obesitas akibat kurangnya aktivitas fisik. Selain itu, ada dampak psikologis yang serius, seperti gangguan perhatian, masalah tidur, hingga kecanduan gadget yang dapat mengganggu perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak-anak. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan juga dapat menyebabkan keterisolasian sosial, mengurangi interaksi anak dengan keluarga dan teman sebaya, serta menurunkan kemampuan komunikasi dan keterampilan sosial mereka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada sanggar belajar (SB) Pandan Indah, Malaysia.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Non PNS RSUD Budhi Asih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan unit analisis pegawai Non PNS RSUD Budhi Asih, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 orang. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling diperoleh responden sebanyak 100 responden, dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan spss versi 26. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa Lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai non pns RSUD Budhi Asih baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, dan Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Teachers’ work commitment is a key element that influences the quality of education in schools. Highly committed teachers tend to be more dedicated to their profession, resulting in better quality teaching and positive relationships with students. Intrinsic motivation is an interest that arises within a person, either in satisfaction or personal achievement, when carrying out a particular job. On the other hand, emotional intelligence refers to the teacher’s ability to recognize, understand, and handle their own emotions and the emotions of others, such as students. This study will explore intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence to improve teachers’ work commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach, using a survey method involving 150 teachers. The questionnaire used in this data collection measured intrinsic motivation, emotional intelligence, and teachers’ work commitment. Multiple regression was used to analyze the collected data and identify the relationship between the three variables. The results showed that intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence significantly positively influenced teachers’ work commitment. However, the impact of emotional intelligence proved to be much greater than intrinsic motivation. These findings indicate that developing emotional intelligence can be an effective way to improve teachers’ work commitment. Thus, this study suggests that schools should place more emphasis on emotional intelligence training in the context of teacher professional development.

Abstract

Aceh as a province with the implementation of Islamic law is not necessarily free from the problem of teenage promiscuity. Free sex among adolescents in Aceh can be seen from the various cases of adolescents who become pregnant at school age, the spread of sexually transmitted diseases is also increasing, abortions and early marriages are increasingly common. Socounseling related to free sex among adolescents is very necessary. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling on the dangers of free sex on adolescents at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Indrapuri Aceh Besar. The design of this study was to use a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest and posttest approach, where the selection of the intervention group was then carried out pre (before) and post (after). The sampling technique used saturated sampling with a sample size of 37 students. The results of the Wilcoxon sigh rank test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.005) obtained a p value of 0.000 <0.005. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of counseling on the dangers of free sex on adolescent knowledge about free sex at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Indrapuri Aceh Besar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers' emotional intelligence in improving character education for students at SLB N Kota Jantho. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants in this study were the school supervisor, principal, and teachers at SLB N Kota Jantho The results of the study indicate that teachers' emotional intelligence plays an important role in improving character education for students at SLB N Kota Jantho. Teachers with high emotional intelligence are able to create a conducive learning environment, build positive relationships with students, and become role models in character development. Components of emotional intelligence, such as self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, have been shown to contribute significantly to the improvement of aspects of student character education, such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, and caring. The findings of this study indicate that training and development of emotional intelligence for SLB teachers needs to be a priority for schools and local governments. Investment in improving teachers' emotional intelligence can contribute to improving the quality of character education for students with special needs at SLB N Kota Jantho.
