Abstract

BackgroundThe phenomenon of the spread of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in various parts of the world has implications for all aspects of life, one of which is education and learning. The demands of digital-based adaptive learning as the demands of the world of education must meet these demands. Van Dijk's digital divide theory is an instrument to observe the phenomena that occur, as well as Everet M. Rogers' perspective with Adoption Diffusion Theory (ADT) as a treatment for campus teaching programs that bridge the digital culture gap.Research PurposeThe research purpose was to lead the emergence of digital cultural imbalances for teachers in accessing e-learning at Al Mufidah Elementary School, Surabaya. Research MethodThis study uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with 13 teachers at the research location with a total sampling method to map the digital culture gap like what happened in the research locationFindingsThe results of this study are the differences in resources experienced by teachers have an impact on the duration of access (often using the default application but never used for learning), mental, and social (teachers become passive).ConclusionThe most dominant access differences are differences in motivation (teachers do not have strong motivation to access), materials (teachers do not have sufficient competence to access technology and digital learning platforms every day), skills and use (teachers are not intense in using digital technology, do not using applications while learning).

Abstract

Background. Gender education in education circles often tends to be neglected by parents and the community. This happens because the community does not realize how important gender-awareness-based education is for children at the elementary education level as a provision for children to know their identity when they are adults. Research Purpose. The purpose of this study is to create gender-awareness-based learning media that can be integrated with learning in elementary school educational institutions and carried out with the help of parents. Research Method. Researchers use the Research and Development development research model with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data analysis technique for this study comes from data from instrument validation results, namely descriptive data from material, language, media, and media implementation experts. Findings. The findings in this study are that interactive edutainment media is feasible and contains an introduction to gender identity. In addition, the introduction of gender insight that is intended to be developed for elementary school students through this book is an understanding of the biological function of sex, body parts, introduction to genitals, and gender roles. Conclusion. Gender education in education circles often tends to be neglected by parents and the community. This happens because the community does not realize how important gender-awareness-based education is for children at the elementary education level as a provision for children to know their identity when they are adults.

Abstract

This research is a bibliometric study using Lotka's Law. Lotka's Law describes the frequency of publications by authors in a particular field. According to Lotka, there is an inverse relationship between the number of articles written and the number of authors who write articles, namely the more articles written, the fewer authors write them. This research aims to determine the pattern of writer productivity according to Lotka's law in the Edulib journal. The object of this research is articles in the Edulib journal with a publication period of 2011-2021. The data collection method in this research was carried out by documentation and then tabulated in table format using MS Excel. Article obtained from the page https://ejournal.upi.edu/index.php/edulib/issue/archive. The articles collected were 166 articles written by 206 different authors. In this research, the "Straight Count" technique was used, namely only the main author or first author was counted. Because there are 79 authors as second authors, the number of authors calculated is 127. The calculation results show that the parameter value n is 2.6895 and C is 0.7985. This means that in 2011-2021 the number of authors who contributed one article was 79.85% of the total number of authors. The results of this research also show that the largest number of author collaborations is five authors in producing one article. The author listed as the first author who was most productive in producing articles was Doddy Rusmono with a contribution of 6 articles.

Abstract

ABSTRACT            In Indonesia, age is one of the requirements for someone who wants to get married. The existence of the law on marriage age restrictions is for the benefit of family and marriage as regulated in article 7 paragraph 1 of Law No.1 of 1974 that in marriage the bride must be 19 years old and the bride must be 16 years old If this is not fulfilled, the marriage dispensation provided by the Religious Courts must be used. In the Decision of the Surabaya Religious Court number (519/ Pdt.P/2018/PA.Sby) the judge granted the petition of the petitioner, namely giving a dispensation to the applicant's child who had not yet been sentenced to age for marriage. As for this study to determine the judge's consideration of early marriage dispensation based on the Decision of the Surabaya Religious Court number (519/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Sby) and to find out the decision in the perspective of Islamic law.            The method used by the authors in this study is a qualitative or empirical method with documentation data collection techniques which are then analyzed to obta           in conclusions            From the results of the research conducted it can be concluded that, the judge's consideration in deciding the case (519/Pdt.P/2018/PA.Sby) first though the applicant's child had not reached the age of 19 years as stipulated in law number 1 of 1974 but the applicant's child showed his ability to get married then in order to prevent the judge from being obedient, he granted the petitioner's request by providing a marriage dispensation. Both court rulings are in accordance with Islamic law because the Shari'a do not provide a certain age limit for marriage. Keywords: Judge Considerations, Marriage, Early Marriage Dispensation

Abstract

Madrasahs, as Islamic educational institutions, hold a crucial position in fostering social mobility within society. This study aims to explore the connection between madrasahs and social mobility through a literature review approach. Madrasahs play a pivotal role in elevating the social status of their students by offering a blend of religious and general education. The findings highlight that madrasahs significantly contribute to shaping individuals who are not only grounded in Islamic values but also equipped with modern competencies, enabling them to make positive contributions to society. By integrating religious teachings with contemporary knowledge, madrasahs prepare students to navigate both the spiritual and worldly aspects of life, positioning them as agents of change. As such, the continued existence and development of madrasahs emphasize their relevance as dynamic educational institutions capable of addressing the diverse social and cultural challenges of the modern world.

Abstract

Currently, tax revenue is the backbone of revenue in the State Budget. The Directorate General of Taxes continues to improve its performance so that tax revenue targets are achieved by trying to improve its performance through tax administration and bureaucratic reform programs. Tax administration and bureaucratic reform cannot be separated from the role of transformational leadership. In addition to the application of the right leadership style, there are internal factors that influence employee performance, namely competence and work motivation. This study aimed to examine the effects of transformational leadership, competence, and work motivation on employee performance, both individually and collectively. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires and supported by secondary sources. Multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 27 was used for data analysis. A sample of 95 employees from KPP Madya Bandar Lampung was selected using simple random sampling. The results showed that transformational leadership, competence, and work motivation significantly influence employee performance, accounting for 67.3% of the variation, while the remaining 32.7% is due to other factors not included in the study.

Abstract

The 0.6% contribution of the forestry sector to GDP is considered very low despite 64.1% of Indonesia's land area being allocated as forests. Most of the 64.8% production forest allocated is not yet optimized for strengthening national food security, in which Indonesia is ranked 65th in the world. Therefore, an innovative forest management system is needed to synergize timber and non-timber production. This paper presents a multi-business forestry (Mb-F) implementation strategy analyzed through a dynamic system-based multi-criterion decision-making tool named Super Model Mb-F (SM Mb-F). SM Mb-F is built based on a causal loop diagram (CLD), which describes the dynamic relationship between land typology suitability and decisions related to the type of business, commodities, land use area, workload, and financing for many variables relating to 5M business principles and sustainability. Results showed that CLD formulated in 280 sub-models in a total of 4,764 decision variables with an error deviation of 6.4%. The SM Mb-F simulation on two sample concession units produces a projected increase in wood supply, employment, and state revenue, plus the provision of new functions such as food, NTFP, and environmental services. These benefits are obtained by business feasibility. Assuming that gradually until 2030, the Mb-F can be implemented in 32% of Indonesia's production forests, then by 2045, it is projected that there will be an increase in wood production by 296.8%, state revenue by 654.3%, and labor absorption by 985.7%, as well as adding food production up to 19.36 M tons. This is because the land use efficiency of the current operation of forest concessions following the Annual Allowable Cut (AAC) under the selective cutting and replanting system in Indonesia (TPTI) is only about 3% of the total area of forest concession. Assuming the cutting cycle is 35 years, timber could be extracted in 1/35 of the total forest concession area. Implementing Mb-F will significantly improve the land use efficiency from about 3% to 90%.  The Mb-F will also restrain the rate of decline in carbon stocks, which is deeper if governance is still under the BAU scenario. This research suggests further global research, emphasizing the importance of innovative models for sustainable forestry governance and food security worldwide.
