Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The subjects were students of class X Putri totalling 18 students. The metodh used in this study is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest desigs. The instrument of data collection in this study is the attitudes towards science questionnaire consists of 24 statement that include 4 attitude toward science indicator which is attraction toward science, science learning activities, importance of science, views toward science’s environmental. Data analysis in this study is a descriptive analysis to determine the increase  student’s attitude toward science in learning physics. The research showed the gain student’s attitude toward science at class X SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in middle category (0,42), increase of the student’s attitude toward science in each of indicators in middle category, except importance of science in low category. Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to describe the ability of formal reasoning in students class X SMA IT AL-Ittihad with metacognitive strategies. The subjects were science students class x totaling 19 person. Data collection instrument in this research is the formal reasoning ability test consisting of 15 items about reasonable option. Analysis of data in this research is descriptive analysis to see an overview of the result of formal reasoning ability of students to learn using the criteria of absorption, enhancement of formal reasoning ability, and effectiveness of learning. From the analysis of the data shows : the averages absorption class is 71.9% with the good category, each indicator has increased formal reasoning, and declared effective learning  effectiveness. Therefore, the application is declared effective metacognitive  strategies to train and improve the ability of formal reasoning in physics learning in class X SMA IT AL-Ittihad Pekanbaru. Abstract

ABSTRAKOtomasi monitoring dan penyiraman tanaman dewasa ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan. Karena tanaman membutuhkan air untuk menaikkan unsur hara dalam tanah untuk keseluruh pohon guna dilakukan fotosintesis. Pada penelitian sebelumnya sudah pernah ditawarkan sebuah otomasi dan penyiraman tanaman dimana sensornya masih diletakkan secara statis sehingga sangat tidak efisien jika diaplikasikan pada banyak tanaman. Hal ini disebabkan oleh biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk membeli sensor. Peletakan sensor secara permanen pada setiap tanaman tidaklah terlalu penting, mengingat monitoring tidak dilakukan setiap saat melainkan berdasarkan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Dari segi energi yang dihabiskan penggunaan sensor statis juga terbilang boros jika tanaman yang dimonitoring ada ribuan tanaman. Untuk itu, pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah prototipe pemantauan kelembaban dan penyiraman pada media tanam dengan menggunakan sistem dinamis. Penggunaan sistem dinamis dalam pemantauan tanaman akan menghemat sensor dan juga bisa digunakan untuk berbagai jenis tanaman karena sifat sensornya yang dapat dipindahkan. Menggunakan Stepper Motor sebagai penggerak, Sensor Kelembaban sebagai pemantau kelembaban, Sistem yang dibuat menggunakan Arduino Uno. Sensor yang digunakan akan digerakkan dari satu media tanam ke media tanam lainnya. Hasil yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah terealisasinya sebuah prototipe yang dapat memonitoring tanaman menggunakan sensor kelembaban, penyiraman tanaman dari tanaman cabai dan bayam sehingga lebih menghemat energi dan pengunaan sensor. Kata kunci: Stepper Motor, Dinamis, Moisture Sensor, RTC.

Abstract

Kvisoft Flipbook maker merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran dan fasilitas yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran. Tujuan dari Kvisoft flipbook maker ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi hasil perencanaan, pembuatan dan implementasi media pembelajaran teknik pembuatan PCB secara manual sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran ini yaitu Kvisoft flipbook maker . Adapun sistem media pembelajaran ini berupa modul virtual yang menggunakan aplikasi Kvisoft flipbook maker, hal ini dikarenakan adanya perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, sehingga tenaga pendidik mampu untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang tampilannya menarik, mudah dipahami dan mudah digunakan. Media pembelajaran yang tampilannya menggunakan aplikasi Kvisoft flipbook maker ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam bentuk pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta didik pada pelajaran teknik pembuatan PCB secara manual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini mengacu pada pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, dimana jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental design. Quasi eksperimen design juga bisa disebut dengan semi eksperimen plan. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan tes hasil belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning tools that developed in this research is science learning tools using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model on temperature and heat material in grade VII Junior High School. It consists of Lesson Plan, Student Worksheet, and Cognitive Evaluation Question. The purpose of this research is to produce valid physics learning tools using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model and suitable to improve the students cognitive ability on temperature and heat material in grade VII junior high school. This research is expected to be a reference for making innovative learning tools and can be used as a foundation in the teaching and learning process so that learning objective can be achieved. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using ADDIE model. This research in only limited to the development stage. The research instrument that used is the Lesson Plan validation assessment sheet, Student Worksheet, and Cognitive Evaluation Question which is used by the validator to assess the learning tools. Data analysis of this study is descriptive analysis, by calculating the validation score of each indicator of the learning tools. The result shows that the science learning device using the Problem Based Instruction (PBI) model is valid, with the mean overall score of the tools is 3.41 in high category. So it is proper to use in teaching temperature and heat material in grade VII junior high school.Key words: PBI model science learning tools, temperature and heat material.

Abstract

Abstract: The learning device developed is a problem solving model based on soundwave material for grade VIII SMP students, consisting of a Learning Implementation Plan(RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and Learning Outcomes Test. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine the validity of learning tools based on problem solving models onsound wave materials. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) with a4D model design. The research instrument used was the RPP validation assessment sheet,LKPD, and the Learning Outcomes Test which were used by the validator to assesslearning tools. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis. Based on the resultsof the validity data analysis, the average value of the validity of the lesson plan was 3.60with a very high category, the average validity of LKPD was 3.49 with a very highcategory and the Learning Outcomes Test was 3.38 with a very high category, so that theaverage -The overall average of learning devices is 3.49 with a very high category. Thus,learning tools based on the problem solving model are declared valid and suitable for usein sound wave material in class VIII SMP.Key Words: Physics Learning Tools, Models, Problem Solving, Cognitive Ability

Abstract

Abstract:The use of learning media is very important. However, the learning media has not been used optimally. Based on the results of observations in junior high school, students are still lacking in maximizing learning media for environmental pollution materials. This is because students cannot directly observe the object of pollution during learning. For this reason, it is necessary to develop learning worksheets media that are equipped with experimental media complete with the need for tools and materials based on the SETS approach to cognitive learning outcomes and students' environmental care attitudes. This study aims to describe the development and validity of learning media and worksheets based on the SETS approach, as well as the students' environmental care attitude. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) development research methods with a 4-D model, namely Define, Design, Defelopment and Dessimination. In this study, modifying it into two stages, namely the design and development stages. The SETS approach-based learning worksheet media that will be developed are validated first by physics education lecturers. The types of data to be obtained in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data in the form of validity values from the media and LKPD and qualitative data obtained from input from the validator. The data collection instruments used were in the form of LKPD media validation sheets and experimental tools. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the LKPD media using Aiken's V. The results showed that the overall validity of the LKPD media was valid with Aiken's validity index of 3,34.And the validity of the experimental media is 3.18.So it can be concluded that the SETS approach-based science learning media on environmental pollution material for class VII SMP is declared valid based on the assessment aspect on the validation sheet.Keywords: LKPD Media, SETS, Environmental Pollution

Abstract

Abstrack:Physics is an abstract lesson so that there are manymisconceptions experienced bystudents, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially business and energy materials. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop media in the form of interactive video using articulate storyline 3. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which is only limited to 3 stages, namely the analysis, design, and development stages. The data obtained in the form of the average validation results of three validators. The results showed that the average validation score for all aspects of interactive video media was in the valid category, which was 3.55 and the average result for all aspects of the material was 3.16 with a valid category. So it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of interactive videos on business and energy materials for class X of high school has been valid based on all aspects of both media and material and this interactive video is worthy of being used as a medium for high school physics learning.Keywords: Interactive Video, Articulate Storyline 3, Physics Learning Media

Abstract

 Outdoor Learning-based physics student worksheets are task sheets that must be done by students that contain instructions for activities that will be used outside the classroom. This research aims to develop a valid physics worksheet based on outdoor learning on the material of straight motion for class X SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) based research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Validation is carried out at the development stage by 3 validators who are experts and experienced in their fields and have experience. The instrument of this research is an assessment sheet in the form of a checklist. This research uses two types of data collected, namely quantitative data obtained from the score of the validation sheet assessed by the validator and student responses, while the qualitative data is in the form of criticism and suggestions from the validator on the product developed and a description of the implementation of product trials. Data analysis used descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indicator used to determine the validity of the developed student worksheets. The results of this research provide an outdoor learning-based physics worksheet product which was developed on straight motion material which was declared valid from the presentation, linguistic, and graphic aspect with high and very high categories, so it was feasible to use in learning to support the teaching and learning process so that it became better.

Abstract

The purpose of this training activity is to train the elementary school teachers in Inuman Sub-District, Kuantan Singingi Regency to developing an integrated  instrument component (IIC) natural science based on nature around. Teachers are trained to operate the Integrated Instrument Components natural science elementary shool that has been developed. The target audience is elementary school teachers in Inuman SubDistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency and who attended this event came from public and private elementary school representatives with 29 participants from 12 schools. Method of activity is the presentation of materials, modeling, training and simulation /discussion. Evaluation carried out from the beginning of the activity, during the implementation and the end of activities with questionnaires, observations and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively. The result of data analysis obtained by the average of the performance of 89% participants in very good category, so also the participant response about this service activity equal to 97,5% in very good category. The conclusion of the results of this training activities of elementary school teachers in the Inuman Sub-District, Kuantan Singingi Regency has the knowledge and able to implemeting in developing an integrated  instrument component simple natural science based on nature around for natural science learning in elementary school.
