Abstract

enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik berorientasi Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadappenguasaan konsep IPA dan keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengandesain nonequivalent post-test only control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V di Gugus VIIKecamatan Sukasada terdiri dari 6 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 144 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu SD N 1 Selat diAnturan dengan jumlah siswa 27 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SD N 3 Selat di Anturan dengan jumlah siswa33 orang dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data penguasaan konsep IPA dikumpulkanmenggunakan metode tes pilihan ganda dan data keterampilan proses sains dikumpulkan menggunakan tes esay. Datadianalisis menggunakan Manova dengan bantuan SPSS-22 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapatpengaruh yang signifikan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadap keterampilan proses sains padasiswa kelas V di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 (Fhitung = 32,27 >Ftabel = 4,00), 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadapketerampilan proses sains pada siswa kelas V di Gugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran2018/2019 (Fhitung = 9,64 > Ftabel = 4,00), dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan pendekatan saintifikberorientasi Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadap penguasaan konsep IPA dan keterampilan proses sains pada siswa kelas V diGugus VII Kecamatan Sukasada Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 (0,000 < 0,05). Berdasarkan temuantersebut, bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi Tri Kaya Parisudhaterhadap penguasaan konsep IPA dan keterampilan proses sains pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus VII Kecamatan SukasadaKabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

Learning during a pandemic make teachers have to change learning that is usually carried out face-to-face into online learning that is still fun for students. Learning media during online learning will help teachers deliver learning material more creatively to become more enjoyable, and students easily understand the learning material. This study aims to develop e-comic learning media on the topic of the human digestive system. This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model. However, this study's implementation and evaluation stages cannot be carried out due to the COVID-19 pandemic, limited time, resources, and costs. Thus, in this study, only the analysis, design, and development stages were carried out. The subjects in this study were two media experts, two material experts, and two practitioners. The data collected in this study used a questionnaire method by analyzing the e-comic learning media. The data from the validation results from the experts were then analyzed using the mean formula to find out the average validity score of e-comic learning media on the topic of the human digestive system. The analysis results show that the average validation score of e-comic learning media on the topic of the human digestive system is 4.65 with very good qualifications, and material validation is 4.57 with very good qualifications. So, e-comic learning media on the topic of the human digestive system are declared valid and have very good qualifications.

Abstract

The use of digital learning media is currently very necessary. It is related to literacy, literacy skills, and the ability to use technology effectively. This research aims to develop Digital Literacy-Based Audio Visual Learning Media on the Topic of the Water Cycle. This type of research is developed using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were one learning material expert, one learning media expert and one practitioner. The test subjects were 25 fifth-grade elementary school students. Methods of data collection using interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data collection instrument uses a rating scale. The techniques used to analyze the data are descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative and inferential statistics. The research results are the assessment of the learning design expert, getting a score of 97.5% (very good). The assessment of the learning material expert is 93.3% (very good). The assessment of learning media experts is 97.6% (very good). The results of the teacher's assessment were 95.2% (very good). The assessment results of student responses were 89.5% (very good). The t-test results showed a significant influence between Digital Literacy-Based Audio Visual Learning Media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that Digital Literacy-Based Audio Visual Learning Media could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper was carried out based on the lack of variety in literacy media that the teachers provide, especially in literacy activities before the learning section started. This causes students tend to have lack of enthusiasm or interest in reading when the school literacy movement begins. This paper aims to develop audio-visual literacy media based on fable stories for the student in grade II class of elementary school. This paper uses the ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The subjects in this research were 2 content experts, 2 learning media experts, 2 learning video design experts, 2 practitioners, 3 individual trial students, and 9 small group trial students. Meanwhile, the object of this paper is audio-visual literacy media. The methods used are interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests. Based on the results of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests carried out, overall, it has a very good category. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test calculations carried out obtained a t count of 1.819 while the table was 1.745, so it can be concluded that Indonesian language learning outcomes before using audio-visual literacy media based on fable stories. The implication of this research is that audio-visual literacy media based on fable stories in class II elementary school with qualifications is very helpful in supporting the learning process in the classroom. Thus, the research results show that audio-visual literacy media based on fable stories are feasible and effective for use in the literacy activity process.

Abstract

Lectures are textual, and students have yet to actively participate in learning activities actively, making learning less meaningful. This research analyses the need for developing contextual approach learning tools based on local Balinese wisdom. This research is survey research. The methods used to collect data are questionnaires, interviews, observation and document study. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire sheet. The technique used to analyze data is qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results are, first, that the approach applied in science skills development courses has yet to be effective. Second, one of the difficulties currently experienced by lecturers is that science learning material needs to be connected to the local context or wisdom. Third, lecturers understand the concept of contextual learning, but learning implementation still needs improvement. One of the things that causes learning activities with contextual concepts to be less than optimal is that they need to be integrated or included in the semester lecture plan. Fourth, a contextual approach will have a positive impact that will improve the learning experience. Fifth, using a contextual approach in learning science skills in elementary school helps students understand and apply it to their lives. It was concluded that developing learning tools with a contextual approach based on local wisdom is very important.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students and the lack of utilization of innovative instructional media remain crucial issues in the learning process for fifth-grade elementary school students. The absence of interactive and contextual media has led to suboptimal learning processes and students' achievement falling short of expected targets. This study aims to analyze, develop, validate, evaluate the practicality, and examine the effectiveness of a problem-solving-based flipbook learning media to improve students’ IPAS (Science, Social, and Environment) learning outcomes. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method consisting of planning, development, and product trial stages. The subjects involved 32 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests comprising pre-tests and post-tests. Data were analyzed qualitatively to assess the feasibility of the media and quantitatively using a paired sample t-test to examine its effectiveness. The results indicated that the developed flipbook media achieved very valid qualifications in terms of content and media validity, was highly practical, and significantly improved students’ learning outcomes in IPAS. These findings recommend the use of problem-solving-based flipbook media as an innovative alternative to optimize student-centered learning processes.
