Abstract

The Agricultural Census 2023 (ST2023) is a large-scale activity carried out by BPS. The series of ST2023 activities consists of planning, preparation, data collection, data processing, presentation and data analysis. One of the data processing stages is inputting documents using the Document Management System (SIPMEN). The SIPMEN application is used by all work units at BPS throughout Indonesia which carry out ST2023 data collection using the Paper Assisted Personal Interviewing (PAPI) method. The purpose of using the SIPMEN application by BPS East Lombok Regency is to facilitate the management of ST2023 documents starting from the document distribution process, namely receipt from BPS NTB Province to the process of receiving documents from BPS East Lombok Regency data collection, namely batching (grouping) documents.

Abstract

Geometry is one of the fundamental topics in mathematics, playing a crucial role in understanding shapes, sizes, positions, and spatial relationships between objects. Mastery of this concept is essential; however, in practice, many students still struggle to grasp geometry material. This issue is also evident at SMA Negeri 1 Pujut, where several students demonstrate a low level of understanding of geometric concepts. In response to this problem, the aim of the research is a community service activity was carried out in the form of tutoring sessions focused on improving students' understanding of geometry. This activity employed a visualization approach through function graph sketches to help students better comprehend the interconnections between concepts in a more concrete way. Based on the evaluation results, data showed that 86.67% of students exhibited improved learning outcomes after participating in the activity. This achievement indicates that the instructional method used by the facilitators was quite effective and well-received by the majority of participants.

Abstract

Mastery of mathematical problem-solving skills based on logical reasoning is an important aspect in supporting students’ success in facing the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK). However, many students still encounter difficulties in understanding concepts and effectively solving UTBK-type questions. To address this issue, a community service program was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pujut with the aim of enhancing participants’ mathematical reasoning capacity. The activity began with an introduction to the Mathematics study program, followed by training sessions on strengthening concept mastery through logical reasoning and practice in solving UTBK questions, delivered by lecturers and students. The effectiveness of the training was evaluated through a comparison of participants’ pre-test and post-test results. This activity was attended by 30 students as training participants. The evaluation showed a significant improvement in post-test scores, with 83.33% of participants experiencing an increase in their scores, and the majority achieving above 60 in the post-test. These findings indicate that the applied training method was effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics and their readiness to face the UTBK.

Abstract

Kegiatan konsumsi mahasiswa disamping untuk keperluan kuliah, kegiatan konsumsi juga dilakukan untuk menunjang penampilan dengan membeli barang secara online. Dalam berbelanja online, besar biaya pengeluaran mahasiswa dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai fakor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model dan menentukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi besar biaya pengeluaran belanja online mahasiswa menggunakan regresi tobit dimana variabel terikatnya mempunyai pengamatan tidak lengkap atau terdapat data yang hilang. Data yang digunakan merupakan data biaya pengeluaran belanja online mahasiswa FMIPA Universitas Mataram dan menggunakan 8 variabel bebas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 7 variabel bebas yang dinyatakan dapat berpengaruh secara positif dan satu variabel bebas berpengaruh negatif terhadap biaya pengeluaran belanja online mahasiswa FMIPA. Namun dari model yang dihasilkan diperoleh nilai R2 yang sangat kecil yaitu 0,113. Artinya, hanya 11,3% variasi pengeluaran belanja online dapat dijelaskan oleh delapan variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, sementara 88,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model. Hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari sedikitnya variabel yang signifikan secara individu.

Abstract

A major earthquake struck Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, in 2018, causing significant infrastructure damage, including in North Lombok Regency. This study aims to analyze land cover changes in North Lombok Regency before and after the earthquake using Sentinel-2 Level-1C satellite imagery. Through supervised classification using the Maximum Likelihood method, changes in the area of various land cover types, such as Bare Land, Paddy Field, Dense Vegetation, Water Bodies, and Built-up Areas, were identified and analyzed temporally in 2017, 2020, and 2023. The results show that the earthquake caused drastic changes in land cover in the study area, particularly a decrease in the area of dense vegetation and an increase in the area of bare land. These changes indicate significant ecosystem disruption caused by the earthquake. Subsequently, a recovery trend was observed in the 2020-2023 period. Changes in land cover, especially in built-up areas and bare land, are consistent with the earthquake's impact and subsequent reconstruction efforts.

Abstract

Land cultivation is one of the activities related to land conversion, this conversion is an activity to change part or all of the land function into other functions. Bima Regency is one of the areas that has experienced land cover change. The research aims to analyze land cover in Bima Regency using Landsat Centinel-2A on the GEE platform. GEE is an alternative to image processing because it allows users to access and analyze large amounts of geospatial data with high efficiency. Land area data is obtained on the platform using the NDVI method, then the accuracy test with the help of the Python programming language, the accuracy results for land cover 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 Overall accuracy are 9.73%, 34.12%, 14.61%, 10.77%, 4.95%, 12.72%, 72.5%, 0.06% respectively. Based on the results of the study, land cover change in Bima District did not occur significantly, where there was a change in land cover below 25% in 2015 to 2023, except in 2016-2017 and 2021-2022. The low accuracy value indicates the limitations of simple NDVI-based classification methods in detecting detailed land cover changes. Therefore, the results of this study need to be understood in the context of the limitations of the method and can be used as a basis for developing more complex methods in future studies.
