Abstract

Grup  disebut Grup Dihedral dengan order 2n, dinotasikan D2n, untuk bilangan asli n yang lebih besar dari 3 merupakan grup yang dibangun oleh dua element berbeda yaitu a dan b. Graf Pangkat dari grup dihedral D2n adalah graf yang semua simpulnya merupakan semua element dari D2n. Lebih jah, dua simpul berbeda, a dan b, dikatakan bertetangga jika dan hanya jika  ax = b atau by= a  dengan x dan y bilangan bulat positif. Pada artikel ini akan dikaji beberapa indeks topologi dari graf pangkat untuk grup dihedral, yaitu indeks Randic, Harmonik, dan Hyper-Wiener. Hasil penelitian ini berupa rumus umum dari indeks topologi dari graf pangkat grup dihedral.

Abstract

This study uses Google Earth Engine, a cloud computing platform, to examine variations in land surface temperature in East Lombok Regency between 2010 and 2020. This study uses MODIS satellite data and is analyzed using Google Earth Engine by adapting a mathematical method—namely, the Random Forest Algorithm from discrete mathematics. According to the results, the temperature increased from its lowest point in 2010 (14.32°C) to its maximum point in 2020 (36.19°C), rising to 16.67°C and 37.74°C. Due to residential growth, Wanasaba, Pringgabaya, and Sambelia saw the biggest increases. Comprehensive temperature monitoring is made possible by Google Earth Engine, which facilitates the effective processing of large-scale spatial data. These results offer a scientific foundation for policy decisions and are essential for environmental management and climate change mitigation. In addition to supporting environmental monitoring initiatives, this study provides a reference for related studies in other areas dealing with issues related to land use and climate change. This research is important for the Central Lombok government as a basis for mitigation efforts in responding to temperature changes and their implications for land use change.

Abstract

Angka putus sekolah di Nusa Tenggara Barat, khususnya Lombok Barat, masih menjadi perhatian dengan rata-rata lama sekolah 6,87 tahun pada 2023. Dua faktor utama yang berkontribusi pada permasalahan ini adalah pernikahan dini dan penggunaan smartphone yang bermasalah di kalangan remaja. Pernikahan dini berdampak negatif pada pendidikan, kesehatan, dan pengembangan sosial remaja, sementara penggunaan smartphone yang tidak terkontrol dapat mengganggu proses belajar dan interaksi sosial. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja SMAN 1 Lembar di Lombok barat mengenai risiko dan dampak pernikahan dini, serta mengembangkan kebijakan penggunaan smartphone yang sehat. Selain itu, program ini berupaya meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan akademik siswa melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan efektif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan dan perencanaan melalui diskusi dengan stakeholder, pengembangan materi edukasi, dan persiapan logistik. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui mini workshop dengan pembelajaran langsung. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan umpan balik peserta via Google Form. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini dan penggunaan smartphone yang positif. Kesimpulannya, program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rata-rata lama sekolah di Lombok Barat dan membentuk generasi muda yang lebih cerdas dan bertanggung jawab dalam menggunakan teknologi, dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dan pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis AI untuk pengembangan diri.

Abstract

This community service program was carried out with the primary objective of enhancing the professional competence of mathematics teachers at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level in Mataram City, particularly in the teaching of geometry. Recognizing the importance of mastering digital technology in modern mathematics learning, the program focused on the introduction and application of GeoGebra as an interactive medium for teaching geometry concepts. The activities were conducted at the Basic Computer Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Mataram, involving 18 MTs mathematics teachers. The program consisted of introducing fundamental concepts of geometry, hands-on training on the technical use of GeoGebra, and an evaluation of learning outcomes through pre-tests and post-tests. The evaluation results indicated an improvement in participants’ scores, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training. The teachers’ enthusiasm was evident from their active participation in discussions, asking questions, and exploring GeoGebra’s features during the training. The pre-test results showed that participants scored between 7 and 20, with an average of 13.56. Following the post-test, scores improved significantly, ranging from 20 to 28 with an average of 24.89. This confirms that all teachers, without exception, experienced an increase in scores. The positive impact of this program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of mathematics teaching at the MTs level.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang dihadapi guru MTs dalam mengajarkan materi geometri dan penerapan pendekatan pemecahan masalah (problem solving). Fokus kegiatan adalah pada pendalaman filosofi dan konsep dasar geometri, serta pelatihan penerapan problem solving dalam pembelajaran. Pada pelatihan penguatan konsep geometri, peserta mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai makna konseptual di balik sifat-sifat bangun datar dan ruang, relasi antar-teorema, serta relevansinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan lebih dari 80% peserta mampu memahami filosofi konsep geometri dan mengaitkannya dengan strategi pembelajaran. Sementara itu, melalui pelatihan problem solving, guru dilatih untuk mengenali tahapan pemecahan masalah mulai dari memahami persoalan, merancang strategi, melaksanakan solusi, hingga merefleksi hasil. Sebanyak 70% peserta berhasil menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berbasis problem solving yang aplikatif di kelas. Efektivitas kegiatan ini juga ditunjukkan melalui hasil pre-test dan post-test, di mana seluruh peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman, dengan beberapa mencapai peningkatan skor hingga 75 poin. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual guru terhadap geometri, keterampilan pedagogik berbasis problem solving, serta kepercayaan diri dalam mengajar matematika secara lebih bermakna dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Berbagai faktor dapat mempengaruhi rendahnya minat siswa dalam belajar matematika, diantaranya adalah metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru saat mengajar, keterbatasan sarana prasarana pembelajaran, motivasi dari guru, dan dukungan orang tua siswa. keingintahuan siswa berupa materi yang menarik, penjelasan guru yang mudah dipahami akan menjadikan matematika menjadi mata pelajaran favorit, mengingat pentingnya pemahaman konsep dasar matematika di tingkat sekolah, khususnya SMA, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan minat belajar matematika. Dalam hal ini, upaya yang dilakukan melalui media cerita tentang paradoks dan temuan tokoh-tokoh matematika yang dimanfaatkan untuk membantu memudahkan kehidupan manusia, diharapkan bisa menumbuhkan keinginan mengetahui palajaran matematika sehingga menumbuhkan minat belajar matematika siswa. Pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 8 Juni 2024 yang dialaksanakan melalui tahapan penyusunan materi palatihan, FGD, memberikan pre test, memberikan materi serta memberikan post test setelah diberikannya materi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah dari 10 item pertanyaan, terdapat 8 pertanyaan yang jawabannya positif dan 2 lainnya jawabannya negatif. Sebagian besar responden setuju (52.57%) atau sangat setuju (38.97%) dengan pertanyaan yang masuk dalam golongan positif, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki pandangan yang positif terhadap topik yang ditanyakan. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil post test menunjukkan bahwa intervensi atau pelatihan yang dilakukan efektif dalam meningkatkan pandangan positif responden.

Abstract

Food stalls are one form of culinary business that faces challenges in managing limited raw materials to maximize profits. This study uses a linear programming method with a Simplex approach to optimize the profits of Solo food stalls that sell three main menus: fried rice, fried noodles, and meatballs. The optimization model is designed by considering the limitations of raw materials such as vegetables, eggs, chicken, oil, sauce, and spices, as well as the selling price and cost of raw materials per portion. In this case, we use manual and software analysis, namely by using POM-QM for Windows. The results of manual and software analysis show the same results, namely by producing 25 additional packages of fried rice and 33.33 packages of meatballs. Because the requested results use integer numbers, we perform branch and bound analysis to produce the maximum value with all values ????of x1, x2, x3 are decimal numbers. The optimization results show that the Simplex method can determine the combination of the number of portions of each menu optimally to achieve maximum profit without violating resource constraints. Thus, this article was created so that we can determine the maximum profit with the availability of existing raw materials and with the capacity that traders have to make it easier for traders to manage.

Abstract

Agricultural land plays a vital role in supporting food security and the regional economy; however, rapid development often leads to land-use conversion. This study aims to analyze changes in agricultural land in Central Lombok Regency over the past ten years (2014–2023) using the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform. The research utilized Landsat satellite imagery to classify land cover types and identify agricultural areas through supervised classification and change detection techniques. The analysis results show a significant decline in agricultural land area, from 29% in 2014 to 26% in 2023. This decrease indicates a conversion of agricultural land to other more economically profitable uses, such as infrastructure development and plantation expansion. The accuracy assessment yielded an overall accuracy of 99%, which is categorized as very good, demonstrating the reliability of the model in mapping land-use changes. The findings of this study are expected to provide useful insights for policymakers in promoting sustainable land-use planning and mitigating the negative impacts of land conversion on the agricultural sector in Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

 Indonesia is an agrarian country with great potential in the agricultural sector, particularly in key commodities such as rice and corn, which play an important role in food security and animal feed. However, limited resources such as land, fertilizer, and labor pose challenges in achieving production efficiency and maximum profits. This study aims to optimize agricultural land allocation to maximize profits using a linear programming model. The case study was conducted on agricultural land owned by a resident of Bajo Village, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Primary data was collected through direct interviews, including land area, input requirements (fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, and labor), and profit per hectare. The model was solved using the graphical method with the assistance of POM-QM for Windows and Google Colab application. The analysis results indicate that the optimal land allocation is 3.65 hectares for rice and 2.54 hectares for corn, yielding a maximum profit of Rp58.906.350,00. This solution meets all available resource constraints. These findings indicate that the linear programming approach is effective in helping farmers make data-driven decisions to improve land and resource management efficiency. The application of this model also opens opportunities for the implementation of similar methods in other sustainable agricultural planning, particularly in the context of small-scale agriculture with limited resources.

Abstract

In tropical regions such as East Lombok Regency, where food production is highly dependent on rainfall, drought poses a major threat to the agricultural sector. This study aims to monitor drought patterns over time using Google Earth Engine (GEE). Vegetation indices, including the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI), and Normalized Difference Drought Index (NDDI), were derived from Landsat 8 satellite imagery. The analysis revealed that during the dry season, particularly in August and September, the southern region—especially Jerowaru Sub-district—experienced severe drought conditions. The western parts, including Sambelia, Pringgabaya, and Suela Sub-districts, were also significantly affected, with the most impacted areas being rain-fed rice fields, corn plantations, and mixed horticultural crops. Temporal trend analysis indicated an increasing drought intensity in the later years of observation. The resulting information can support decision-making in drought risk mitigation and sustainable water resource management. By integrating satellite-based drought assessment with agricultural planning, this approach can strengthen food security and promote adaptive agricultural practices in drought-prone regions such as East Lombok Regency.
