Abstract

Menstruation is an event that naturally (normally) occurs in women who are entering reproductive age. Menstruation occurs because the uterus sheds its endometrial lining periodically. One of the menstrual problems that often arises is dysmenorrhea. This study aims to analyze differences in dysmenorrhea pain scales with herbal therapy of papaya leaf decoction and red ginger decoction. The design used in this study is an experimental quesy through the Pretest-Posttest None equivalent Control Group approach. Samples were taken using non-probability sampling with accidental sampling techniques. The results of the research data were carried out by a bivariate test with a T-test with α: 0.05. Based on the results of the study, the difference after being given papaya leaf decoction and red ginger stew had a mean of 1.66 for papaya leaf decoction and a mean of 1.22 for red ginger stew. The results of the T-Test statistical test showed a result of 0.875 which is greater than α, so it can be concluded that there is no difference between the administration of papaya leaf decoction therapy and red ginger stew. Based on the results of these studies, a decoction of papaya leaves and ginger can be used as an alternative therapy to reduce menstrual pain

Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the open unemployment rate (TPT), Human Development Index (HDI), and inflation on economic growth in Bengkulu Province over the 2014–2023 period. Employing a quantitative approach, the research utilizes secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that, on a partial basis, only the HDI has a statistically significant influence on economic growth, while the open unemployment rate and inflation do not demonstrate significant effects. However, when analyzed simultaneously, all three variables collectively exert a significant impact on economic growth in the province. These results underscore the pivotal role of human capital development in driving sustainable economic performance. Enhancing education, healthcare, and general welfare as reflected in HDI can contribute more effectively to long-term economic resilience. The study highlights the need for targeted policy interventions that prioritize improvements in human resource quality alongside macroeconomic stability. Future research may explore additional socio-economic indicators or extend the analysis to a broader regional scope for comparative insights. Overall, the findings provide empirical support for formulating inclusive development strategies aimed at achieving sustainable economic growth in Bengkulu and similar regions.

Abstract

This study develops a Spectrum Model of Indonesian Political Leadership through an analysis of the political thought and exercise of power of four post-reform presidents: Abdurrahman Wahid, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Joko Widodo, and Prabowo Subianto. The study aims to map variations in political leadership within Indonesia’s electoral democracy from 1999 to 2024 and to explain their implications for democratic quality. Using content analysis, the research examines 86 state speeches, 24 policy documents, and 212 national media articles. The analysis employs frequency coding of key thematic terms representing orientations toward power and democracy. The findings identify four ideal types of political leadership: Normative–Pluralist, Rational–Stable, Populist–Pragmatic, and Militaristic–Adaptive. These types exhibit fundamental differences in power orientation, state–society relations, and strategies of political consolidation. The spectrum model offers a new analytical framework for understanding leadership dynamics in electoral democracies that are vulnerable to oligarchic influence and power centralization. Policy implications underscore the importance of strengthening non-executive
