Abstract

Learning regional languages ??(Sundanese and Javanese) in schools often faces the problem of low student interest and engagement due to teaching methods that have not been optimally integrated with the local cultural context. This study focuses on developing an innovative local wisdom-based regional language learning model, integrating traditional sports to create meaningful and enjoyable learning. The key stages of this research used qualitative methods through literature studies, analyzing various relevant primary and secondary sources to formulate a conceptual model. The main findings of this study indicate that combining regional languages ??with traditional sports can be an effective medium for improving students' language competencies, both oral and written, as well as understanding contextual meanings. Another finding is that this model also fosters positive attitudes towards preserving local culture. It is concluded that the developed model, which is contextual, communicative, and interactive, is effective for actively internalizing ancestral cultural values ??and is aligned with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. ABSTRAKPembelajaran bahasa daerah (Sunda dan Jawa) di sekolah seringkali menghadapi latar belakang masalah berupa rendahnya minat dan keterlibatan siswa akibat metode pengajaran yang belum terintegrasi secara optimal dengan konteks budaya lokal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan model pembelajaran bahasa daerah berbasis kearifan lokal yang inovatif, dengan mengintegrasikan olahraga tradisional untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan menyenangkan. Tahapan penting penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder yang relevan untuk merumuskan model konseptual. Temuan utama dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan bahasa daerah dengan olahraga tradisional dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi berbahasa siswa, baik lisan maupun tulisan, serta pemahaman makna secara kontekstual. Temuan lain adalah bahwa model ini juga menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal. Disimpulkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan yang bersifat kontekstual, komunikatif, dan interaktif efektif untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai budaya leluhur secara aktif dan selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The paradigm shift in education in Indonesia demands innovations in learning that are relevant to the needs of the 21st century. One of the main challenges is the low quality of moral education, which serves as the foundation for shaping students’ character at the junior high school (SMP/MTs) level. This issue arises due to the limited availability of structured learning models aligned with the values of Nabawi morals. This study aims to develop and implement a systematically designed Nabawi moral education program to foster students’ positive behavior, strengthen the role of teachers, and involve parents as educational partners. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of needs analysis, design, expert validation, limited trials, implementation with target groups, and evaluation and FGD (Focus Group Discussion), through both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results show that the development of this Nabawi moral education program effectively enhances students’ understanding of moral values, strengthens teachers’ instructional skills, and fosters collaboration between schools and parents. The program has been validated by four experts religious expert, material/language expert, design expert, and media expert resulting in a score of 15 (95%), indicating that the program is highly feasible to be applied at the SMP/MTs level. Therefore, this program is considered feasible to be implemented as a contextual and applicable Islamic value-based character education model. ABSTRAKPerubahan paradigma pendidikan di Indonesia menuntut adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Salah satu tantangan utama adalah rendahnya kualitas pendidikan akhlak yang berfungsi sebagai pondasi pembentukan karakter siswa di tingkat SMP/MTs. Masalah ini muncul karena masih terbatasnya model pembelajaran yang terstruktur dan sesuai dengan nilai-nilai akhlak Nabawi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan program pendidikan akhlak Nabawi yang dirancang secara sistematis agar mampu membentuk perilaku positif siswa, memperkuat peran guru, serta melibatkan orang tua sebagai mitra pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) model ADDIE dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, serta implementasi pada kelompok sasaran dan evaluasi, dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion), analisis data penelitian ini kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan program pendidikan akhlak Nabawi ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai nilai moral, memperkuat keterampilan guru dalam mendidik, serta menumbuhkan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua. Program ini telah divalidasi oleh empat ahli yaitu ahli bidang agama, ahli bidang materi/bahasa, ahli bidang desain, ahli bidang media diperoleh skor 15 (95%) yang menunjukkan bahwa program ini termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak untuk diterapkan di tingkat MTs dan SMP. Dengan demikian, program ini layak untuk diterapkan sebagai model pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai Islam yang kontekstual dan aplikatif.

Abstract

The existence of regional languages continues to experience a decline in the number of speakers in the world, especially in Indonesia. In order to stop this situation, it is necessary to have prevention efforts. One of these efforts is digitization as a form of transformation in the era of society 5.0. This digitization effort is an act of transforming the form or transfer of print, audio and video media into digital form. This paper aims to describe certain media that can be used as innovations in language-based digital learning, especially Sundanese. The media are in the form of digital learning applications (MABS: Sundanese Teaching Materials).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of comprehension and reading speed of students, the sample of which was students of SMAN 22 Bandung class XI-I. The data analysis technique was a test technique. Quantitative data analysis techniques were used to analyze the results of the reading comprehension test in the form of average scores. The data analysis procedure was to measure reading speed (KM) and measure reading ability (KMP). Based on the results of the study, it was found that the students' reading speed was 149.05 wpm with a reading comprehension of 59.07. This shows that the students' reading speed is still below the high school criteria of 250 wpm. Students are said to understand the contents of the reading if the level of comprehension reaches 40-60. In line with this statement, students can be said to understand the contents of the reading because they have a level of comprehension of 59.07. Therefore, it can be concluded that students tend to read carefully to better understand the contents of the reading text, which ultimately affects their reading speed to be below standard, while the understanding of the contents meets the student's standards.

Abstract

Literacy is a very important aspect of life, as it enables access to various types of information. However, among the younger generation, literacy is rarely sought and tends to be neglected. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of literature on literacy among the younger generation, to develop critical thinking skills through literary literacy, and to identify efforts to increase awareness of literary literacy among the younger generation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study include a literature review and the distribution of questionnaires to respondents regarding issues examined in the research, which will produce efforts to maintain literary literacy among the younger generation, identify literary works that are attractive to the younger generation, and determine media preferred by the younger generation to encourage their interest in literary literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readability level of 43 texts in the book Rancagé Diajar Basa Sunda for junior high school students using Fry Graphs, as well as to evaluate their suitability for readers aged 12 to 15 years. This study uses a document analysis method comprising steps such as text identification, calculation of sentence and syllable counts, graph mapping, and interpretation of results in the context of Sundanese. The results showed that only 11 texts (26%) were in the "suitable" category, while most were in the low and very low categories. However, such low scores do not necessarily reflect incompatibility, because the clarity of sentence structure is a way to accommodate the limitations in mastery of Sundanese cultural vocabulary among junior high school students. The results of this study show that Fry's Graph must be interpreted in a real way in Sundanese. By implication, teachers and book writers must balance simple sentences with important cultural vocabulary. At the same time, authorities can use these results to formulate readability standards for local Sundanese materials.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah dan merancang sebuah model asesmen pembelajaran dongeng berbasis tradisi lisan Sunda, asesmen berfungsi sebagai pengukur, pengevaluasi, dan penelaahan kebutuhan suatu pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu perancangan model awal asesmen lisan berbasis tradisi dongeng Sunda untuk siswa pada tahapan Fase D. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, sumber data meruapakan buku-buku, dokumen perencanaan asesmen fase D, dan validasi-validasi dari para ahli dan pengajar senior. Adapun teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan serta verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah rancangan mode awal asesmen lisan berbasis tradisi dongeng Sunda di fase D, adapun bentuk dari rancangan modelnya adalah asesmen yang berupa praktik dengan keaktifan siswa, penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk perancangan model asesmen atau model pembelajaran yang berbasis tradisi daerah.

Abstract

Kampung Naga is an indigenous village in West Java that still upholds the values of ancestral heritage. This research discusses how the description of the Kampung Naga community settlement and the value system and norms carried out by the Kampung Naga community and the correlation between the value system and community behavior reflected in the settlement towards natural preservation. With an ethnographic approach, this research describes and interprets cultural phenomena that reflect the view of life of the Kampung Naga community. Data were collected through literature study, field observations, and interviews. The literature study involved archives, articles, and books, while field data was obtained through involved observation and in-depth interviews, which recorded the mythology and spatial layout of Kampung Naga. The data were then identified and processed inductively, based on existing concepts, values and beliefs. The results showed that the people of Kampung Naga still strongly uphold ancestral customs, which help maintain the balance of nature and prevent environmental damage. They value customs as norms in action and behavior, utilize local produce, and inherit Sundanese manners well, as well as showing typical Sundanese hospitality or commonly called soméah hadé ka sémah, which reflects hospitality and respect for guests.

Abstract

Sebutan otak kiri dan kanan. Kenyataannya ada manusia yang dominan otak kiri dan ada yang dominan otak kanan. Otak kiri bertanggung jawab terhadap kemampuan verbal dan matematis seperti berbicara, membaca, menulis, dan berhitung. Proses berpikirnya bersifat logis, sistematis, dan analitis. Otak kiri tergolong short term memory (memori jangka pendek). Otak kanan berurusan dengan irama, musik, imajinasi, emosi, warna, gambar, dan diagram. Cara berpikirnya bersifat kreatif, tidak teratur, dan menyeluruh. Otak kanan tergolong long term memory (memori jangka panjang). Analisis pustaka di atas menjadi pemicu teridentifikasinya masalah yaitu adanya perbedaan daya pikir anak yang mengikuti pendidikan formal dan non formal antara usia 12 s.d 15 tahun dalam kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan asosiasi untuk menghafal dan memahami Asmaul Husna. Hasilnya ternyata pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peserta pelatihan, baik terhadap peserta yang sedang bersekolah maupun terhadap peserta yang tidak bersekolah. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa ternyata pendidikan formal berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan daya ingat. Kemampuan rata-rata daya ingat peserta yang bersekolah di SLTP lebih tinggi (80,69) dibanding kemampuan rata-rata daya ingat peserta anak usia SLTP yang tidak bersekolah (63,42).

Abstract

Kasus pelanggaran etika dan tata krama yang kerap muncul di media sosial menimbulkan kekhawatiran berbagai kalangan terhadap degradasi moral para generasi muda. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pembinaan kepada generasi muda untuk senantiasa menggunakan etika dan tata krama bahasa Sunda yang baik dan benar dalam bermedia sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini didasarkan pada hasil penelitian Model 3W (Wiwaha, Wiraga, Wibawa) sebagai alternatif solusi mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan empat langkah kegiatan yakni perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam pengabdian ini adalah pengurus dan anggota komunitas Mojang Jajaka (Moka) Kota Tasikmalaya. Para peserta dibimbing untuk memahami dan menguasai konsep etika dan tata krama bahasa Sunda yang baik dan benar (wiwaha), terampil menerapkannya dalam media sosial (wiraga), serta mampu menjadi figur atau teladan bagi masyarakat luas (wibawa). Kegiatan pembinaan ini diharapkan mampu membekali para peserta agar lebih bijak menggunakan media sosial yang didasarkan pada penerapan etika dan tata krama Sunda dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
