Abstract

Increasing the productivity and efficiency of production machines cannot be separated from the availability of machine spare parts in the warehouse department. Delays in the delivery of spare parts if machine problems occur often become a problem that disrupts efficiency. This delay was caused by the search for engine spare parts in the warehouse taking too long to find. The long search time was caused by the irregular placement of the materials and the messy condition of the warehouse. This research aims to make improvements to the goods search process to make it faster and more effective in the warehouse area and increase warehouse capacity using warehouse re-layout. This research method uses the implementation of warehouse re-layouts combined with the application of Kaizen 5S in controlling the condition of machine spare parts. This research found that the reason for the long search time for machine spare parts was due to the lack of knowledge of warehouse operators and the absence of training regarding the application of the 5S method, as well as the careless placement of spare parts in warehouses that were not neatly arranged.  This research has resulted in a reduction in search time for engine spare parts from 6.4 minutes to 4 minutes per spare part unit or a decrease of 36.5%. Meanwhile, the results of the warehouse re-layout resulted in an increase in warehouse capacity from 80 pallets to 316 pallets, an increase of 395%.

Abstract

This study aims to collect and analyse students' assessment of the use of ChatGPT and Google Scholar in finding academic information sources. Data was collected through a questionnaire designed to evaluate ease of use, quality of information obtained, and impact on students' learning process. The results of the questionnaire were analysed using statistical methods to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. Normality test, validity test, and reliability test were conducted to ensure data distribution and reliability. The results showed that the Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.8290 confirmed that the data was reliable. The correlation coefficient between 0.600 to 0.800 shows a high correlation, indicating the significant influence of using ChatGPT and Google Scholar in helping students find and understand academic information. Nonetheless, some limitations need to be noted, such as limitations in interpretation and analysis that require in-depth understanding as well as customisation to specific academic contexts.

Abstract

In the last six months, one of the Bank Central Asia (BCA) in Central Jakarta received various kinds of complaints from customers every month. The complaint relates to the Customer Service Officer (CSO) who is not optimal in terms of service. This is of concern to research, because competition in the service industry, especially banking, is increasing every year. This research aims to analyze improving the quality of service to customers and provide appropriate solutions for the continued trust of BCA customers. This research method uses the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method combined with customer complaint data through questionnaires and comparison data with competitor banks through benchmarking. This research found six causes of declining CSO service quality based on Voice of Customer (VOC). Meanwhile, from the 6 causes of problems, seven corrective actions were produced using a correlation matrix and technical actions to improve the quality of CSO services. After measuring aspects using the QFD method, the resulting importance level was 17%, meaning it was important to repair, the aspect difficulty level was 2%, meaning it was easy to repair, and the estimated cost aspect was 15%, meaning the cost was low in repairs. Corrective actions on the part of the CSO have been maximized in providing services to customers at BCA Branch Unit Offices (BUO). Gajah Mada, Central Jakarta.  So that in the coming years the quality of CSO services will continue to be evaluated to reduce complaints from BCA customers.

Abstract

PT.

The existence and traces of involvement of dayah ulama in the power dimension have placed them as religious leaders and political actors. Resulting in vertical mobility in policy making. The research subjects were dayah ulama and religious leaders in Aceh. This study aimed to understand the dimensions of the political power of Acehnese ulama working at the level, space, and form. This research used qualitative methods based on interview data, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results showed that the ulama dayah had a lot of capital and power to build power. These dimensions could be classified as follows: 1) the level dimension in the power structure of ulama was very central and able to influence local and even national political constellations; 2) with personal qualities and public belief in the Keuramat (sacred) and temeureuka (damned) owned by the ulama, indicating the legitimacy of power in the form of “visible and invisible power” in the Aceh ulama; 3) through dayah institutions, networks of religious organizations and the Ulema Consultative Assembly had provided ample space for Aceh ulama to build their identity and power as holders of religious and social authority in the public sphere.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership Style and the Big Five Personality traits on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among Civil Servants (ASN) in the Health Department, the Population and Civil Registration Department, and the National Population and Family Planning Agency in Mataram City and West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The Transformational Leadership Style is measured using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) Form 5X, which encompasses four main dimensions: idealized influence/charisma, individualized consideration, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation. Meanwhile, the Big Five Personality traits include Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study sample consists of 233 respondents selected based on Isaac and Michael's sample size determination table, with a 5% error level. Data is analyzed using multiple regression to determine the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results show that Transformational Leadership Style, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness significantly influence OCB, whereas Neuroticism does not have a significant influence. Overall, Transformational Leadership Style and the Big Five Personality traits collectively have a significant influence on OCB. This study provides important contributions to the understanding of factors influencing OCB in the public sector, particularly within the context of the NTB Provincial Government. The managerial implications of these findings include the importance of developing supportive leadership styles and nurturing certain personality traits to encourage voluntary behaviors beneficial to the organization. Further research could explore other potential factors influencing OCB in the ASN work environment.

Abstract

The Integrated Population Information System (SINTREN) is a collection of actions to organize and distribute death certificate documents and population data electronically or via the internet using existing technology, communication, and information facilities. The SINTREN system is used with the aim of providing convenience in population administration services related to death certificates in Cirebon Regency. This research aims to review whether the management of the application or website is able to cut the distance and time of users to be more efficient. The research employs a qualitative approach through observation, documentation, and observations, with a particular focus on informants who were directly involved in the application of the SINTEREN application for issuing death certificates. Data analysis was conducted using Budiani's theory of effectiveness, which includes evaluating the accuracy of program goals, the effectiveness of program socialization, the achievement of program objectives, and the monitoring mechanisms in place. The study contributes by analyzing and interpreting data collected from various sources, providing insights into its implementation, functionality, and impact on improving population and civil registration services. This study could help identify areas for improvement, enhance system efficiency, and inform future policy decisions regarding population information management in the region.
