Abstract

Saturasi oksigen dalam darah (SpO₂) adalah indikator vital yang menunjukkan efisiensi sistem pernapasan dalam mendistribusikan oksigen ke seluruh tubuh. Pemantauan SpO₂ sangat penting dalam deteksi dini gangguan pernapasan seperti penyakit paru obstruktif kronis (PPOK), asma, dan hipoksia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemantauan SpO₂ berbasis sensor MAX30102 yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Kalibrasi sensor dilakukan menggunakan alat pulse oximeter medis standar untuk memastikan akurasi pembacaan. Pengujian dilakukan dalam kondisi lingkungan terkendali dengan suhu 20°C hingga 27°C. Hasil kalibrasi menunjukkan bahwa sensor MAX30102 memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi dengan deviasi rata-rata kurang dari 2% dibandingkan alat medis referensi. Pengujian terhadap beberapa subjek menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi kadar SpO₂ dalam rentang normal (95%-100%) maupun rendah (85%-90%), dengan hasil yang stabil dan konsisten. Dengan hasil yang telah diperoleh, sistem pemantauan kadar oksigen dalam darah berbasis sensor MAX30102 menunjukkan potensi besar dalam mendukung pemantauan kesehatan secara efisien, akurat, dan real-time. Namun, beberapa faktor eksternal seperti pergerakan pengguna, pencahayaan lingkungan, dan suhu tubuh dapat memengaruhi hasil pengukuran. Optimalisasi lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan terhadap faktor eksternal dalam berbagai kondisi. Dengan pengembangan yang berkelanjutan, teknologi ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan dan memberikan manfaat luas bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Desa Klinting yang berada lereng rangkaian pegunungan Kendheng daerah perbukitan dan tanah gembur yang tepatnya di Kabupaten Banyumas. Dengan kondisi daerah yang berada di lereng bukit dan tanah yang gembur Desa Klinting menjadi salah satu Desa yang tercatat sebagai Desa rawan bencana oleh BTB RI dan BTB Kab. Banyumas. Oleh karena itu, BAZNAS Kabupaten Banyumas berkolaborasi dengan mahasiswa KKN Tematik Kampung Zakat dan Katana untuk membuat pelatihan dan pembentukan pokja kampung tanggap bencana yang bekerja sama dengan BAZNAS RI, PMI, BPBD dengan waktu pelaksanaan selama 2 hari. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi ceramah, diskusi dan simulasi bencana. Adanya program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman warga mengenai risiko bencana khususnya terkait pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam memitigasi resiko kebencanaan di desa tersebut.

Abstract

Particulate matter is an air emission that is compossed of particle and liqud dropplet. This suspension is easily measured in several size distributions: ultrafine particle, fine particle, coarse particle, and total suspended particle. Coarse particle is commonly used as a parameter of air quality index. This research aims to measure coarse particle concentrations inside an air-conditioned room. The measurement was conducted using a particulate sensor and a microcontroller for an hour. All measurements were varied into: active and non active room conditions. The results show that human activities and movements in the first variation has higher concentration than the second one. The difference is about 12 µg/m3. human activities have a significant role in the submicron particulate distribution inside a room. Air-conditioned room has higher concentration than a common room.

Abstract

Chitosan is a functional material with potential for bone scaffolds due to its antibacterial properties, biocompatibility, biodegradability, low toxicity, and ability to support tissue regeneration and prevent infections in graft implantation.This study aims to identify changes in functional groups in each isolation process and identify the effect of chitosan concentration  on the activity of Straphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. Chitosan isolation methods are demineralization, deproteination, decolorization, and deacetylation by microwave irradiation. Analysis of chitosan functional groups using FTIR, while antibacterial activity test using diffusion method. Isolation of chitosan from pearl oyster shells (Pinctada maxima sp.) obtained a degree of deacetylation of chitosan of 95.37%. Pearl oyster shell powder identified typical peaks of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃). The demineralized powder sample had calcium carbonate (CO₃²⁻) peaks that disappeared. Furthermore, the deproteinated powder sample produced peaks with amide groups (C=O dan N-H) of reduced protein. Decolorized powder samples did not show drastic changes in the bands of the deproteinated powder spectra, but the spectra could show cleaner and clearer peaks without any interference from pigments. The last, deacetylated powder sample showed a decrease in peak intensity in the 1650 cm⁻¹ (C=O amide). The analysis of the ability of chitosan to inhibit the growth of E. Coli and S. Aureus bacteria was effective at a minimum chitosan concentration of 20%. In comparison, antibacterial activity in S. aureus is better than in E. coli. Chitosan from this shell can serve as an antibacterial, but its manufacturing techniques need optimization for better efficacy.

Abstract

Sampah secara umum dihasilkan dari kegiatan manusia sehari-hari. Dari berbagai jenis sampah, sampah plastik merupakan sampah non-organik yang paling banyak dihasilkan, tidak dapat diurai secara alamiah, dan memiliki dampak bagi kesehatan maupun lingkungan. Kabupaten Lombok Timur, memproduksi sampah terbanyak setiap harinya di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Usaha mengurangi sampah perlu didukung oleh kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengurangi sampah dan memilah sampah sehingga dapat mengurangi beban pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah, terlebih setelah pemerintah propinsi NTB menggaungkan program Net Zerowaste Emission Tahun 2050. SMA N 2 Selong merupakan salah satu sekolah di wilayah Selong Lombok Timur yang diharapkan mampu menjadi pionir dalam edukasi pengembangan kesadaran diri sehingga memiliki peran yang sangat stategis untuk mengedukasi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah perlu dilakukan edukasi pemilahan sampah plastik di lingkungan sekolah. Bahkan perlu diperkenalkan manfaat mendaur ulang sampah karena hal ini akan menunjukkan animo generasi muda dalam mewujudkan program zero waste di lingkungan SMA N 2 Selong, dan nantinya diharapkan pada generasi muda di seluruh wilayah Lombok Timur. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh siswa kelas X, XI dan XII sejumlah 54 siswa terpilih dan hampie seluruh guru SMA N 2 Selong dengan respon Sangat Memuaskan.

Abstract

Indonesia is a biodiversity country. Abundance of biological resources may encourage researchers to optimize its use. As an example papaya trees are utilized as raw material for thin films. Sap of papaya latex is doppinged with Cu. This composition is depositioned on top of FTO by spin coating method. The addition of Cu dopping aims to control the rate of crystallinity of the material. This research will add Cu between 10% and 50% solution. Based on FTIR test results, flavonoid compounds might be obtained with O-H group, some aromatic rings C = C and C = O, aliphatic compounds C-H and -CO. Flavonoid compounds are potentially utilized as dye for DSSC. The thickness of dye produced by doping Cu 10% is approximately (0.5-2) μm. Furthermore, dopping Cu from 20% to 40% can produce thickness around 10-50 nm. Meanwhile, the results of the XRD test show an effective Cu between 10% to 40%.

Abstract

Inovasi pembuatan pakan ternak dalam sediaan wafer perlu dilakukan untuk menjadi alternatif pakan saat musim kemarau. Limbah tahu merupakan salah satu bahan dasar yang dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembuatan wafer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi perlakuan yang direkomendasikan dalam pembuatan kandidat wafer berdasarkan karakteristik fisis wafer. Kandidat wafer ditinjau berdasarkan warna, kadar air, densitas wafer, densitas partikel, dan porositas.  Proses pembuatan wafer dilakukan dengan proses pemadatan dan pemanasan. Sebelum serbuk limbah tahu dicetak, dipastikan dahulu kadar air pada serbuk limbah tahu sesuai dengan stadar SNI 3148:2:200. Suhu pemanasan serbuk limbah tahu yang direkomendasikan menggunakan suhu 100oC. Karakteristik serbuk limbah tahu yang dihasilkan yaitu serbuk berwarna putih, kadar air sebesar 14,1% dengan nilai densitas partikel serbuk limbah tahu(𝜌sa ) 0,189g/cm3 serta porositas (𝜙sa ) 0,216%. Sedangkan untuk proses pencetakan wafer, suhu pemanasan yang direkomendasikan yaitu 70oC. Kandidat wafer yang diperoleh menghasilkan warna putih, tahan hingga 4 minggu, kadar air 7,19%, densitas partikel (𝜌p ) 0,254 g/cm3, densitas wafer 1,10 g/cm3 dan porositas 𝜙w sebesar 3,47±0,0118%.

Abstract

Chitosan is one of the biopolymers that has recently been developed in the medical field. Chitosan is biocompatible, biodegradable, and non-toxic, so it is safe for the human body. This study aimed to identify the characteristics of chitosan isolated from pearl oyster shells. Chitosan is obtained through three stages: deproteination, demineralization, and deacetylation. Characterization of chitosan is done physically and chemically including organoleptic test, yield calculation in each step of isolation, FTIR, and XRD. Isolated chitosan identified deacetylation degree and functional group with FTIR. While the crystal structure was determined using XRD. The results showed that chitosan powder has a beige color with a final yield of 7,06%. The characterization of FTIR shows that synthesized pearl oyster shells have successfully formed chitosan compounds with a deacetylation degree of 81,50%. Another characteristic is the crystal structure obtained; chitosan has orthorhombic unit cells with a degree of chitosan crystallinity of 36,94%. Based on the result, chitosan has met several standards in medical applications as a biomaterial.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using comics as a learning medium in mathematics. This research method is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This method includes identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all available research in the form of journals, articles and others. Based on the results of the study, it was found that comics were an interesting, simple, and easy-to-understand learning medium for students so as to facilitate the teaching and learning process and increase learning motivation and improve student learning outcomes.Keywords:comik: Learning media: Mathematics

Abstract

QCM or quartz crystal microbalance is a non static crystal that can be used as a mass sensor. As a piezoelectric crystal, a QCM generates an electrical signal with a specific frequency. The frequency change can be utilized as a frequency counter in a mass measurement system. This study aims to develop a coarse particle sensor system using a QCM and an oscillator circuit. In line with this, this study uses an oscillator circuit and a QCM for a sensor development. Thus, the frequency measurement of the QCM contains an oscillator and a signal conditioner connected to a microcontroller. For this purpose, an Arduino Nano was used as the signal processing, while a QCM was used as a coarse particle sensor and compared to a digital dust sensor (Winsen ZH03). The sensor system was evaluated using a fixed-type crystal connected to an oscillator: 2.5 MHz - 7.2 MHz. Arduino Nano processed the frequency signal generated by the developed oscillator. The results show that the sensor system has a stable output signal compared to the comparator. There is a linear correlation between the frequency measured by the system and the oscilloscope (99.73%). It can be concluded that the sensor system can measure coarse particle concentrations from 32-620 ug/cm3 (frequencies from 2 MHz to 7.2 MHz) with a response time of 1 second. The system has an accuracy of 99% and a resolution of 1 Hz.
