Abstract

This research aims to find out how global interaction affects the quality of elementary school students' verbal communication. This study was carried out by collecting data through book and journal literature studies. The research results show that global interaction through information and communication technology (TIC) influences the social interaction patterns of elementary school students. Students who use gadgets a lot and interact via social media rely more on social media communication and instant messaging than face-to-face interaction. Excessive use of gadgets is also associated with impaired verbal communication. These findings help to better understand how global interactions can influence the way students interact with others. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for developing more effective strategies to deal with the impact of global interactions on the quality of elementary school students' verbal communication.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is very important because it helps students prepare themselves to achieve success in the future and helps build a better society. In this research the author used qualitative methods. This research aims to observe the collaborative efforts of ASEAN and UNICEF in identifying education problems and the role of the two organizations in efforts to improve the quality of education. The collaboration between these two organizations has had a positive impact in improving educational accessibility, educational quality and educational relationships for children. The policy implementation resulting from this research provides valuable insights for policymakers to strengthen partnerships and joint efforts in improving education systems in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

Globalization has a significant impact on Indonesian values, influencing various aspects of Indonesian people's lives.  This research analyzes changes in Indonesian values ​​due to the influence of globalization using descriptive analysis methods from various data sources.  The results of the analysis show a complex transformation in traditional values ​​such as mutual cooperation, kinship, and cultural diversity, with several aspects experiencing weakening due to the domination of foreign culture through media and technology.  However, there are also positive aspects such as increasing access to information which can strengthen Indonesian identity through a broader understanding of culture and history.  Thus, globalization has a complex impact on Indonesian values ​​which presents challenges and opportunities that need to be managed wisely in the global era.

Abstract

This article discusses the quality of education in Singapore, Indonesia, and Timor Leste. The purpose of writing this article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the quality of education in Singapore, Indonesia, and Timor Leste, by exploring the factors that influence the quality of education in each country, including curriculum, teacher quality, and educational facilities. Singapore has an excellent education system with a comprehensive curriculum, high-quality teachers, and modern educational facilities. Indonesia faces challenges in improving the quality of education, such as a curriculum that is not fully aligned with local needs, low teacher quality, and inadequate educational facilities in some areas. Timor Leste, as a newly independent country, is still in the process of building a quality education system with constraints such as a non-standardized curriculum, inadequate teacher quality, and limited educational infrastructure.

Abstract

Pancasila disampaikan mengingat sifat-sifat mulia yang telah ada sejak zaman dahulu, yang kemudian dipulihkan oleh para pionir negara melalui pemikiran dan refleksi yang mendalam. Dengan demikian, Pancasila hadir sebagai sistem kepercayaan negara dan pola hidup bangsa Indonesia yang mengandung sifat-sifat kritis dalam setiap sudutnya. Dari sifat-sifat tersebut, muncullah sistem etika Pancasila yang menjadi titik tolak pembebasan bangsa Indonesia dari landasan permasalahan yang ada. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, sistem etika Pancasila terus disempurnakan dalam pelaksanaannya, sehingga setiap aktivitas dan upaya masyarakat dalam mencapai tujuan bersama dapat terkoordinasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstrac The learning models and media used by educators have an impact on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence and differences between the make a match learning model assisted by wordwall and powerpoint on students' learning outcomes. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study was students in grade IV of SDN 2 Beringin Raya with a total of 60 students. The sample used was 60 students with sampling using simple random sampling techniques and data collection using tests and observations. Data analysis used the t-test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a significant influence of the application of the make a match learning model assisted by wordwall on students' learning outcomes. (2) There was a significant influence of the application of the make a match learning model assisted by PowerPoint on the results of students' science learning. 3) There was a difference in the influence of the application of the make a match learning model assisted by word walls and assisted by PowerPoint on the results of students' science learning.

Abstract

In the modern world, the approach to learning mathematics is considered a social activity because it involves interaction between teachers and students, building collaboration, and using technology to solve mathematical problems. The design of digital sociomathematics teaching materials aims to create a learning environment that is more accessible, flexible, interactive, collaborative, innovative, and efficient. This research aims to develop a socio-mathematical digital teaching material for elementary schools. The research uses development research methods, using the ADDIE development model, which consists of analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation stages. However, the current research focus is analysis, design, and development. The study data was obtained through the questionnaire. The material validation results showed 61% of the category is high and 39% is excellent. This study concludes that the instructional materials developed are employed in classroom teaching. This study suggests that future research could be directed towards evaluating the implementation of socio-mathematical digital teaching materials in primary school classrooms.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the snakes and ladders media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject. The research method used was a quasi-experimental group design, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The population and sample consisted of 40 students. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression analysis. If the significance result was 0.00 < 0.05, then the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the implementation of the PBL model assisted by the snakes and ladders media on the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Metro Timur. This research indicated that the problem-based learning model integrated with educational game media had the potential to be an effective learning approach to improve students' learning outcomes at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu kompetensi dari tujuan pendidikan abad 21. Namun pada kenyataannya, ditemukan masalah terkait rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 1 Segalamider Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penerapan model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS peserta didik kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen dengan pendekatan quasi experimental dan desain penelitian menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan populasi sebanyak 109 peserta didik dengan sampel sebanyak 56 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik tes berupa tes uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS peserta didik. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fhitung = 15,65 ≥ Ftabel = 4,21 dan N-Gain sebesar 0,36 dengan kategori sedang. Maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS peserta didik sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan indikator penting dalam mengukur keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Tingginya hasil belajar menunjukkan efektivitas model dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Namun, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V SDN 3 Kresnomulyo masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media wordwall terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan populasi berjumlah 35 peserta didik dan sampel sebanyak 35 peserta didik. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan non tes berupa lembar observasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana, berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang siginifikan penggunaan model problem based learning berbantuan media wordwall terhadap hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas V SDN 3 Kresnomulyo.
