Abstract

This study examines strategic management in developing teacher professionalism through the Teaching Factory (TeFa) approach. The Research aims to analyse strategic management processes, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine the contribution of TeFa-based professional development to learning quality and student work readiness. A qualitative approach was employed using in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis. Data were analysed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that TeFa-based teacher professional development is managed through systematic stages of strategy formulation aligned with institutional vision, strategy implementation through delegated managerial roles and annual planning, and strategy evaluation of implemented programs. Supporting factors include institutional readiness and collaboration with industry partners, while inhibiting factors involve limited infrastructure, budget constraints, and unequal industry absorption capacity. The study also reveals that TeFa-based professional development contributes to improved instructional quality and enhanced student readiness for the world of work. These findings highlight the importance of strategic management in optimising the implementation of the Teaching Factory as a sustainable model for teacher professionalism development.

Abstract

Tingginya kecemasan akademik mahasiswa semester 3 dan 5 Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Madura dalam menghadapi tuntutan penulisan karya ilmiah. Karya ilmiah kerap dipersepsikan sebagai beban akademik yang sulit karena kurangnya pemahaman terhadap struktur, kaidah penulisan, pengelolaan referensi, serta proses publikasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan melalui workshop penulisan karya ilmiah sebagai upaya edukatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan mengurangi kecemasan akademik mahasiswa. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan service learning yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Workshop dirancang secara partisipatif, dialogis, dan berbasis praktik dengan memadukan moda luring dan daring, serta melibatkan mahasiswa Kandidat Magister Mengabdi (KMM) dan dosen sebagai fasilitator. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif pada persepsi mahasiswa terhadap karya ilmiah, peningkatan pemahaman teknis penulisan, tumbuhnya minat menulis, serta menurunnya kecemasan akademik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa workshop penulisan karya ilmiah berperan penting sebagai strategi pendampingan akademik yang efektif dalam membangun sikap positif dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa terhadap penulisan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

The transformation of information and communication technology has encouraged religious organizations to adapt their da'wah message dissemination strategies through digital platforms. Muhammadiyah, as one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, has developed a digital media ecosystem known as the Muhammadiyah Digital Center (MDC) in response to the changing communication landscape in the era of media convergence. This study aims to analyze the role of digital media as a channel of religious communication within the MDC ecosystem, identify patterns of digital da'wah content management, and describe the communication strategies applied to reach Muslim audiences in digital spaces. A qualitative method with a case study approach was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews with MDC managers, participatory observation of digital platform activities, and document analysis of organizational communication policies. The results show that MDC has built a structured and integrated digital communication infrastructure, including official websites, social media channels, podcasts, and live streaming services. The content management pattern is centralized yet adaptive to the characteristics of each platform. The communication strategies applied emphasize moderation, inclusivity, and responsiveness to contemporary issues. Media convergence has proven to significantly expand the reach of Muhammadiyah's religious communication while also presenting new challenges related to digital literacy and content management amid the rapid flow of digital information

Abstract

The theme of controversy regarding women has always been an interesting theme in Islamic studies. This made Fazlur Rahman also interested in studying it more deeply. This article explains in depth Fazlur Rahman's thoughts on polygamy. Fazlur Rahman has a different perspective on polygamy, this makes this theme even more interesting to read. This research is a literature review, prepared based on qualitative methods and analyzed descriptively. Islam came with a series of justifications for the actions carried out by the Arabs at that time. Through the Koran, Islam refutes negative accusations and stigma. Islam really glorifies women and the most important gender problem is answered through the concept of monotheism where the status of men and women are equal in the eyes of Allah and society.

Abstract

This article discusses two seemingly contradictory hadith, is t tradition of male genitalia. There is a hadith which states that the thigh is including for male genitalia, so that should be covered, and there is another tradition that informs that the Prophet ever -in some circumstances-lifting clothes so it looks his thigh. This seems contradictory hadith then tried to reconcile with utilizing the science of hadith traditions that are concerned in this matter, namely mukhtalif al-hadîth. By the several methods of settlement, the authors take the methods of al-jam‘. Under this settlement, it can be seen that the two traditions is basically not contradictory, both are maqbûl and ma‘mul bih, prohibition to open thighs is makrûh tanzîh arbitrate and be open is allowed if there is an intent.

Abstract

This research is aimed to explore the idea of Arabization in Qur’ân and hadîth and to elaborate the Arabs’ innovation who unified their empire around a single faith of Islam and a single language of Arabic. The Arabic language has quickly replaced the earlier cultural languages such as Latin, Greek, Syriac, and Persian. This Arabization impressed that the Arabs were not interested in other languages. For Arabs, to learn an “infidel” script would involve an element of, so to speak, impiety, even of pollution. This article would explain the idea of Arabization from the view of Ibn Taymîyah, a strict scholar living in the middle time of Islam. He has put Arabic language not only as the medium of communication between God and Human, but he seems to purify the Arabic language as the ultimate language of Muslim world
