The corona pandemic has now hit 216 countries. The total number of positive cases of Covid-19 worldwide until February 2021 was 109 million. Data on the development of Covid-19 in North Sumatra until February 2021, there were 22,865 positive corona patients with 781 cases of dead patients and 19,641 recovered patients. School is a very effective place in order to improve the health status of the community. The purpose of community service is to aim for elementary school students to increase awareness and ability to wash their hands with soap for 20 seconds during school holidays as protection to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Socialization is carried out using posters. The population and sample of this service are elementary school students with a total of 30 people. The results of this community service were enthusiastically received by elementary school students in class at SD Negeri No. 200308 Padangsidimpuan City as seen from the number of elementary school students who asked about information about covid-19, the spread of covid-19 and how to wash hands with soap for 20 seconds correctly in everyday life. It is recommended that socialization activities to increase awareness and ability to wash hands with soap for 20 seconds during school holidays can be carried out regularly with a more frequent frequency and the range of information dissemination can also be expanded to families of elementary school students in general so that everyone, families and communities better know, understand and be able to practice efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 in daily life through the movement of washing hands with soap for 20 seconds so that ultimately it can improve the health status of the community.

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis which spreads through the air and is contracted through saliva splashes when sufferers cough, sneeze, talk and spit in any place. Tuberculosis is still a disease with a high morbidity rate. Therefore, knowledge about Pulmonary Tuberculosis and its prevention is very important as a strategy in breaking the chain of transmission of this disease, especially if it is also supported by a positive and appropriate attitude that will produce healthy behavior, so that it can assist the government in controlling disease transmission. Pulmonary Tuberculosis with maximum. This community service aims to increase youth knowledge about pulmonary TB prevention in the rainy season as an effort to control infectious diseases at Angkola Barat 1 Public Middle School. This community service activity was attended by 30 class IX students. This activity was carried out by delivering counseling materials and installing posters about pulmonary TB at SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. This activity was also interspersed with discussions and questions and answers. The results of this community service activity were received enthusiastically by students. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could add insight into knowledge related to TB disease and of course affect habits in daily life.

Abstract Millennials need English because the boundaries between countries are no longer visible. This makes us have to be able to communicate using international languages, and English is one of them. However, the impact of implementing the 2013 curriculum on reducing the number of hours for several subjects including English subjects reduced the effort to learn the language. Need a strategy to facilitate mastery of the language. Focusing on language skills such as speaking, writing, listening and reading is one way. Seeing the complex problem of mastering the language, students of SMPN 1 Angkola Barat need help to master English. This assistance is only temporary because after that students are expected to be able to independently make efforts to improve their language skills. These things are the focus of community service carried out by FIB Unsoed lecturers. Formal classes that cannot provide writing competence training are the main background for this service. Thus, the purpose of this service is to improve writing skills through English literacy activities. The methods used are lectures, posters and workshops. One of the goods that is needed by humans, both to maintain personal hygiene and environmental hygiene / sanitation is soap. Soap is a surfactant that is used with water for washing and cleaning. This community service aims to improve community skills in making dish soap through training conducted by the team. This activity uses a participatory model involving community components such as village heads, community leaders, environmental heads, and the community. The implementation of the activity was carried out with the main target being the Sitinjak Village community. The number of participants was 30 people. The location of this community service was carried out at the Sitinjak Village Head Office, Angkola Barat District, South Tapanuli Regency. This type of service is health promotion by providing information and demonstrations as well as training in making dish soap. The method used in this activity is in the form of training, discussion and question and answer. The visible end result of this training activity is that most people know the materials and tools needed in the process of making this dishwashing soap and know exactly the steps required in the manufacturing process. All activity participants stated that this community service was very useful because it could increase the community's knowledge and skills in making dishwashing soap.

Governments in both developed and developing countries are still working to stop the spread of this new type of corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). The mosque is one of the places that can be used in an effort to socialize the prevention of the spread of covid-19. The purpose of community service so that the Al-Mahmudah congregation can easily find out information about covid-19 and efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 in the mosque / mosque area. The socialization was carried out using posters. The population and sample of this service is the congregation of Mesjid Al- Mahmudah with a total of 40 people. The results of this community service were enthusiastically received by the congregation at the Al Mahmudah mosque which can be seen from the many employees who asked about information about efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the mosque / mosque area as well as efforts to detect, isolate and protect Covid-19 in everyday life. . Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease related to cartilage damage which causes pain and interfere to perform activities of daily living. The aim of this community service is to help patients with osteoarthritis to reduce their intensity of pain through rheumatic gymnastics. The applied method was rheumatic gymnastics. The results of this project showed that the average intensity of pain during pre-test was 4 and in post, it became by 3. It implies that the average reduction was 1. Therefore, it can be said that this project managed to reduce the pain intensity.

Masa usia sekolah merupakan masa pertumbuhan dengan peningkatan berbagai kemampuan dan perkembangan lain yang membutuhkan fisik sehat. Ketidaktahuan akan gizi yang baik pada anak ataupun orang tua menyebabkan anak sekolah sering berperilaku salah dalam menkonsumsi zat gizi, salah satunya adalah seorang anak lebih sering mengkonsumsi makanan jajanan dibanding mengkonsumsi zat gizi seimbang. Apabila anak kelebihan energi, maka energi yang berlebih akan disintesis menjadi lemak tubuh, jika lemak tubuh tidak terpakai untuk energy akan terjadi penimbunan lemak dan jika hal ini terjadi terus menerus maka mengakibatkan kegemukan dan Obesitas. Pada anak sekolah, kejadian kegemukan dan obesitas merupakan masalah yang serius karena akan berlanjut hingga masa dewasa. Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat agar siswa sekolah dasar dapat mengetahui informasi mengenai makanan jajanan yang aman dan sehat sehingga dapat terhindar dari obesitas. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan poster. Populasi dan sampel pengabdian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar dengan jumlah 40 orang. Hasil akhir yang terlihat dari kegiatan sosialiasi ini adalah sebagian besar siswa memahami pencegahan obesitas melalui pemilihan makanan jajanan yang man dan sehat. Siswa terlihat tertib dan sesuai dengan yang diarahkan oleh panitia kegiatan. Kegiatan pemberian informasi mengenai makanan jajanan sebagai upaya pencegahan obesitas berhasil dilaksanakan. Kegiatan pemberian informasi mengenai makanan jajanan sebagai upaya pencegahan obesitas dapat dilakukan secara berkala dengan frekuensi yang lebih sering dan jangkauan penyebaran informasinya juga dapat diperluas kepada keluarga siswa secara umum agar setiap orang, keluarga dan masyarakat lebih mengetahui, memahami dan dapat mempraktikkan upaya pencegahan obesitas melalui pemilihan makanan jajanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang akhirnya dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat.

Scabies is a skin disease caused by Sercoptes scabiei Var humanis. This mite is an obligate parasite for humans. The spread of scabies generally occurs through direct contact between the skin or through sleeping utensils, clothes and towels (Wibisono, 2011). Scabies is often found in Indonesia, this is because Indonesia is a tropical country. This type of service is health promotion with counseling methods. The service was carried out at the Class II B Correctional Institution, Padangsidimpuan City. The population and sample of this service are prison residents with a total of 40 people. The results of this community service were enthusiastically received by prison residents as seen from the many prison inmates who asked questions about how to prevent the spread of scabies which met the requirements for use in everyday life. which can be seen from the number of prison inmates who ask questions about how to prevent the transmission of scabies which meet the requirements for use in everyday life. It is recommended that health educator activities regarding the prevention of transmission of scabies with a clean and healthy lifestyle in the Class IIB Prison in Padangsidimpuan City can be carried out periodically with a more frequent frequency and the range of information dissemination can also be expanded so that it covers all prisoners in general so that prison residents and guards better know, understand and be able to practice the application of prevention of scabies transmission with a clean and healthy lifestyle that meets health requirements in everyday life which in turn can improve the public health status.
