Abstract

Masalah umum dialami siswa ialah peserta didik sering mengalami kebosanan ketika dalam pengerjaan UKBM saat proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan didalam kelas, jadi kurangnya kreativitas siswa untuk memahami dan menyelesaikan materi karena kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam hal keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang dapat menginspirasi siswa melakukan kegiatan ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Fishbone untuk materi biologi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan menentukan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dari Maret hingga Mei 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen pada nonequivalent control group design, instrumen tes berupa pretest posttest dan Non Tes seperti angket. Penelitian ini memiliki sampel kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Rata-rata hasil posttest eksperimen 81,5 dan rata-rata posttest kontrol 58,2. Hasil angket kemampuan berpikir kreatif responden mendapatkan total skor 1289 dari indikator dan persentase tanggapan responden 88%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adanya pengaruh pada model Problem Based Learning berbantuan fishbone pada materi biologi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada kelas eksperimen dikategorikan kreatif.

Abstract

The scientific literacy understanding ability of Indonesian students according to PISA results from 2000 to 2012 shows that Indonesia continues to decline in rank. In 2015, Indonesia's PISA score has increased, although it increased, it is still much lower than the international average PISA 500 score. Teaching materials are one of the factors that affect students' understanding of scientific literacy. A balanced aspect of scientific literacy has not been fully incorporated into teaching materials in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to develop balanced teaching materials for science. This study aims to determine the characteristics, feasibility, legibility, and improvement of students' scientific literacy. The research method used is research and development. The object of this research is SMP Karya Bunda. The sampling technique was carried out using a simple random sampling technique. The final product of this research is educational material that presents aspects of scientific literacy, namely science as knowledge, science as research, science as a mindset, and the interaction between science, technology, and society. The results of the feasibility test showed that the teaching materials met the criteria very well with a score of 87.98. The results of the readability test showed that the teaching materials used were easy to understand with average readability of 67%. The test results (victory test) showed that the average understanding of the experimental class's science understanding was 67.3%, while the control class was low at 30.8%. These results indicate differences in the improvement of scientific literacy between students who use technical materials and those who use ordinary materials in school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penerapan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggal dengan pembelajaran group investigation dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X MIA MAS Al-Washliyah 22 Tembung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA B yang berjumlah 29 siswa melalui pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggalnya dengan pembelajaran group investigation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes, yaitu; pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian pratindakan sebesar 52,75 kemudian meningkat setelah dilaksanakan penerapan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar tempat tinggal dengan pembelajaran investigasi kelompok pada siklus I menjadi 69,13 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas awalnya 4 sampai 12 siswa dan banyaknya siswa yang tidak menyelesaikan siklus I. 25 orang menjadi 17 orang. Sedangkan setelah diberikan tindakan siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 80,86 dari nilai rata-rata siklus I dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 26 orang dan yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 3 orang. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa pratindakan sebesar 14%, pada siklus I sebesar 41% dan siklus II sebesar 90%.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi buku teks biologi kurikulum 2013 kelas X di MAN Tanjung Pura, Kabupaten Langkat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis konsep buku dalam buku teks biologi kelas X materi virus lima kategori miskonsepsi menurut hersey, yaitu: Misidentifications, Oversimplifications, Overgeneralizalizations, Undergeneralizations dan Obsolete Concept and terms. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, miskonsepsi yang terdapat pada buku teks biologi kurikulum 2013 pada materi virus adalah buku A dan B merupakan buku dengan yang memiliki miskonsepsi jenis misidentifications. Buku A memiliki 1 misidentifications dengan persentase yaitu 11,1%, sedangkan buku B memiliki 2 buah dengan presentasenya 28,6%. Sedangkan dalam tabel overgeneralization pada buku A memiliki 2 buah dengan presentase 22,2% sedangkan pada buku B overgeneralization tidak ditemukan. Miskonsepsi jenis oversimplications Buku A memiliki 4 oversimplications dengan persentase 44,5% sedangkan buku B memiliki 4 buah dengan presentasenya 57,1%. Miskonsepsi jenis undergenerlizations. Buku A memiliki 2 undergenerlizations dengan presentase 22,2%, sedangkan buku B undergenerlizations tidak ditemukan. Kategori Obsolute and terms concepts pada buku A memiliki miskonsepsi jenis Obsolute and terms concepts buku A tidak ditemukan, sedangkan buku B memiliki 1 buah dengan persentasenya 14,3%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah handout terintegrasi paradigma wahdatul ulum pada materi sistem pernapasan untuk menaikkan hasil belajar siswa MAS AL-FALAH ini layak, praktis, dana efektif dalam proses pembelajaraan. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop. dan Disseminate). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa handout terintegrasi paradigma wahdatul ulum pada materi sistem pernapasan yang dikembangkan telah valid, sehingga layak untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan persentase 100% (ahli materi), 92,25 (ahli media), dan 92% (ahli agama). Selain itu, hasil angket respons guru dengan persentase 95% dan angket respons siswa dengan persentase 91,92% menunjukkan betapa praktis penggunaannya. Dilihat dari hasil N Gain yaitu sebesar 0, 81 maka handout dinyatakan efektif dengan kriteria “Tinggi”. Maka dari hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa handout terintegrasi paradigma wahdatul ulum pada materi sistem pernapasan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa MAS AL-FALAH telah dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan. Pengembangan handout pada penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa serta guru dapat menggunakannya sebagai bahan ajar selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce Problem Based Learning-based Learning Worksheets combined with Make A Match which is feasible to use based on expert judgment assessment (2) to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning-based Learning Worksheets combined with Make A Match and (3) to determine the practicality of Problem Based Learning-based Learning Worksheets in training students' critical thinking skills in the biology subject X-MIA virus material at MA Laboratorium Uinsu. This research is a development research with the 4-D model which consists of four stages, namely, define (defining), design (planning), develope (development), and disseminate (dissemination). Data collection was obtained through product feasibility validation results, student and teacher responses, as well as pretest and posttest with N-Gain analysis. The results showed that: (1) Problem Based Learning Learning Worksheets combined with Make A Match to train critical thinking skills is declared feasible to be used by students as learning media with a 99% media validation score, 91% material validation score. (2) The effectiveness of Problem Based Learning Learning Worksheets combined with Make A Match in training students' critical thinking skills based on the results of the N-Gain analysis obtained a result of 0.7 with a high critical thinking level category with the criteria "very effective" problem-based Learning Worksheets is effective in training critical thinking skills. (3) The practicality of Problem Based Learning Learning Worksheets combined with Make a Match in training critical thinking skills based on the results of questionnaire responses by students and teachers shows that student responses obtained a final result of 90% in the "very practical" category and teacher responses obtained a final result of 91% in the very practical category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop guided inquiry-based worksheets on the material of the body’s defense system by testing the validity, practicialy, and effectiveness of the worksheets. The research was conducted at the MAN 2 LABURA school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) research with a 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The results of this study indicate that the guided inquiry-based LKPD develop obtains very practical criteria with a percentage of 79% (media expert), 75% (material expert), and 100% (biology teacher response), and 91% (student response). LKPD is said to be effective based on the n-gain value with a score of 0,81 in the high category. Based on explanation above, the guided inquiry-based LKPD developed is feasible, practical, and effective for use in the learning process in the classrom on biology learning material for the body’s defense system. Abstract

This study aims to develop instructional media in the form of guided inquiry-based LKPD on excretion system material to test the feasibility, practicality and determine the effectiveness of LKPD. This research used R&D research methods with the Borg & Gall development model (research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing and operational product). The test subjects in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Brandan Barat. The media expert validation results obtained an average percentage of 92.5% with a very decent category. The results of the material expert validation obtained an average percentage of 93.75% with a very decent category. The results of the teacher’s response assessment obtained an average percentage of 91% in the very practical category. The results of the assessment of student responses in the limited scale trials obtained an average percentage of 80.99% in the very practical category and in the large scale trials and average percentage of 83.99% was obtained in the very practical category. Based on the results of the feasibility, practicality and product effectiveness tests, the guided inquiry-based LKPD on excretion system material develop is feasible, practical and effective for improving students critical thinking skills. Abstract

LKPD (Student Worksheet) based on discovery learning  is intended to provide learning knowledge directly in the process of meaningful learning activities so as to direct students to find learning concepts. This study aims to determine the level of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD based  on Discovery Learning to train students' critical thinking skills on respiratory system material. Researchers used the R&D (Research and Development) method  using a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Development and Desemminate) developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel in 1974. The test subjects in the study consisted of 36 students from class XI IPA SMA PAB 4 Sampali. The results showed that the feasibility value of developing LKPD from material experts was 86.1% with the very feasible category and LKPD experts by 75% with the feasible category. Then the percentage of practical scores for LKPD development from biology teachers and students of science XI was 82.14% and 83.47% respectively with the practical category. The effectiveness of LKPD development based on individual completeness from  the pre-test  and post-test students obtained an average N-Gain  score of 62.14, so the use of the method has been effective because the N-Gain normality value obtained between 0.30 < g < 0.70 with the "effective" criterion. Then for the N-Gain score value of 0.62, this value is in the medium category because the N-Gain score is between 0.3-07 with the category "medium N-Gain". From the overall results including valid, practical and effective categories, it can be concluded that LKPD based  on Discovery Learning on the equipment system material is suitable for use and distribution to PAB 4 Sampali High School.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: (1) the feasibility level of the module based on the local potential of Biology; (2) the level of practicality of the biology module; and (3) the level of effectiveness of the use of biological modules based on local potential of coffee plants (Coffea sp.) on the material of inheritance patterns. Development research includes the following stages: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation. The test subjects consisted of media experts, material experts, linguists, and 1 MGMP teacher with 40 students at MAS Miftahussalam, 10 students as small group trials and 30 students as large group trials. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and a test sheet. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the feasibility of the media was in the very feasible category (94.54%); (2) The biology module material is in the very feasible category (87.63%); (3) The language is in the very feasible category (91.66%); (4) Practicality obtained from MGMP teachers is in the very practical category (94.75%); (5) The trial of 40 students was in the practical category (76.48%); and (6) the effectiveness obtained by n-gain of 0.71 with the effective category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the biology module based on the local potential of the coffee plant (Coffea sp.) on the material of inheritance patterns is very feasible, practical, and effective in improving the learning outcomes of class XII students
