Abstract

Kota Singkawang, located in Kalimantan Barat Province, is a popular destination for domestic and international visitors. According to the 2013"“2032 Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW), a Type A passenger terminal is planned on Jl. Terminal Induk, Kota Singkawang. However, the terminal's construction is still pending, and the Singkawang Grand Mall currently serves as a temporary terminal for the new Singkawang-Malaysia bus route, which began operations on December 1, 2023. Our research, involving experts from various fields, focuses on designing the Kota Singkawang Type A passenger terminal layout based on necessary facilities and circulation needs. The terminal requires a minimum of 4.7 hectares, but only 2.42 hectares are available. The design accommodates separate circulations for buses and passengers, with specific parking spaces for various transport modes. Given the shortage of 2.28 hectares, an expansion of the terminal's land is recommended. Additionally, it is suggested that Jl. Terminal Induk will be upgraded to a primary arterial road with a minimum width of 11 meters to support future development.Keywords: Transportation Development, Passenger Terminals, Multimodal Connectivity, Cross-Border Transportation, Regulatory Standards

Abstract

There are various reasons and considerations underlying travellers in choosing a mode of transportation. The diversity of transportation mode is an essential factor for transportation business actors in competing to provide a choice of transportation modes that are very popular or no longer in demand for use by travellers traveling from one city to another. Currently, the most frequently used mode of transportation on the Pontianak - Ketapang city route or vice versa is airplane transportation or travel, and this is because both modes of vehicle arrive in the city of Ketapang without transiting in other towns or regions. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the choice of transportation mode and obtain the probability of airplane and travel passengers.This research is conducted with a stated preference method by distributing questionnaires to people traveling from the Pontianak - Ketapang city route using airplanes and travel modes. For the survey, data is collected using a questionnaire distributed to 420 respondents through Google form using four attributes, namely cost, time, headway, and service. Based on the analysis results for calculating transportation mode choice with the stated preference method, a utility model is obtained as follows: U(PT-TR) = 0.291 + -2.883E-6.∆x1 + -0.226.∆x2 + 0.218.∆x3 + 0.023.∆x4 with an airplane probability of 55.92%, while   the travel probability is 44.08%. The most sensitive attribute affecting the choice of transportation mode is the time attribute. It is because changes in travel time will result in a relatively greater probability of mode choice when compared to changes in cost, headway, and service attributes.

Abstract

Tugu Pancasila Roundabout in Putussibau City is a 5-arm roundabout that organizes traffic in 5 directions of movement. Poor traffic management at this roundabout, such as the lack of roundabout signs and no separation island or median on roads other than the main road, makes motorists who should pass through the roundabout instead choose not to cross the roundabout and go against the flow because they want to reach their destination faster. In addition, due to the increasing population and the volume of vehicles traveling, it is anticipated that in the future, the Tugu Pancasila roundabout will have increasingly heavy traffic flows. The performance analysis of Tugu Pancasila Roundabout was calculated using MKJI 1997 and VISSIM software. The performance analysis of Tugu Pancasila Roundabout was carried out by taking roundabout geometric data, manually taking side obstacle data, and traffic volume data for three days using survey aids in the form of CCTV starting at 06.00 - 18.00 WIB. Analysis of the existing conditions in 2023, the highest degree of saturation is 0.62 with the level of service B; in the 2028 projection conditions, the highest degree of saturation is 0.73 with the level of service B; and in the 2033 projection conditions, the highest degree of saturation is 0.86 with the level of service E. With a poor level of service, the volume of vehicles and the roundabout capacity could be more balanced, so improvements are needed for the Tugu Pancasila Roundabout in Putussibau City. The improvement solution is to re-plan the roundabout following the Roundabout Planning Guidelines for Intersections (2004). For the results of the MKJI 1997 analysis of the roundabout re-planning solution, the 2028 projection obtained the highest degree of saturation of 0.54 with level of service B, and in the 2033 projection obtained the highest degree of saturation of 0.63 with level of service B. for the results of the VISSIM software simulation, the roundabout re-planning solution for the 2028 projection obtained a delay of 13.14 seconds with level of service B, and the 2033 projection obtained a delay of 15.60 seconds with level of service C.

Abstract

The runway is one component in the airport system, its performance greatly affectsall airport operational activities. Anticipating the increase in services from thecapacity of the number of passengers, it is necessary to build a new runway. In thisstudy, analyze the forecast of the number of movements with the trend analysismethod and the percent forecast method from PT. Angkasa Pura II, field subgradeCBR, new runway capacity and planning year, and new runway pavement using theFederal Aviation Administration (FAA) method and FAARFIELD 1.42 software.Based on the analysis results, the field subgrade CBR was 0.38% 3%, then it wasstabilized using selected soil (CBR 20.523%) with a thickness of 60 cm. The forecastresults with both methods show that the trend analysis method is used because thetime is earlier than other methods, namely in 2027 with the existing runway capacityat Supadio International Airport of 54 operations/hour with a maximum capacity of51 operations/hour. The results of the runway flexible pavement thickness using theFAA method manually obtained a total pavement thickness of 42" (107 cm), whichconsists of 4"(10 cm) Surface Course, 12"(31 cm) Base Course, and 26"(66 cm)Subbase Course, while the FAARFIELD 1.42 software has a total pavementthickness of 30.43"(77 cm), which consists of 4"(10 cm) Surface Course, 5" (13 cm)Base Course, and 21.43"(54 cm) Subbase Courses.

Abstract

With Pontianak as its capital, Kalimantan Barat relies on river transport, including speedboats and klotok, as key transportation alternatives. Factors like service quality, safety, and convenience influence their use. The research focused on the Pontianak to Labai Hilir Village route in Ketapang Regency and analyzed user characteristics, Minimum Service Standards (MSS), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Male users dominate, particularly those aged 15-25, with 44% using speedboats and 32% klotok. Many users are entrepreneurs with incomes of Rp 2,000,000-6,000,000, using these transports mainly for economic purposes. The study found that speedboats meet 78% of MSS and klotok 67% of MSS, per Indonesia"™s Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 61/2021. IPA identified key issues like speedboat capacity, safety, fleet size, and information availability. Klotok users highlighted inadequate cleaning facilities. The CSI values are 70.69% for speedboats and 67.80% for klotok, both categorized as "satisfied," indicating that overall service meets user expectations.Keywords: Klotok, River Transport, Minimum Service Standard, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)

Abstract

Increased traffic activity can result in congestion, delays, or accidents at unsignalized intersections. This study assesses the performance of the three-arm unsignalized intersection at Jl. Gusti Situt Mahmud-Parit Pangeran, Pontianak, under current conditions and a 5-year forecast. The analysis employs the Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023 and VISSIM software, with data gathered during peak hours on Mondays from 17:00 to 18:00. In the present scenario, PKJI 2023 indicates a degree of saturation (DJ) of 0.95, a delay of 17.08 seconds, and a Level of Service (LOS) C, while VISSIM shows a delay of 21.10 seconds and LOS C. For the 5-year forecast, PKJI 2023 predicts a DJ of 1.07, a delay of 22.76 seconds, and LOS C, whereas VISSIM anticipates a delay of 21.10 seconds and LOS D. The most effective solution to enhance intersection performance includes widening significant roads, adding lanes, and incorporating medians, which would achieve an LOS A, thereby effectively mitigating congestion and delays for both current and projected conditions.

Abstract

Ruas jalan Rasau Jaya-Parit Sarem merupakan salah satu ruas jalan di kecamatan rasau jaya kabupaten kubu raya yang merupakan jalan kolektor primer dan mempunyai akses strategis yang menghubungkan 2 Kecamatan, yaitu Kecamatan Sungai Kakap dan Kecamatan Teluk Pakedai melalui pelabuhan penyebrangan Parit Sarem. Permasalahan kerusakan pada ruas jalan Rasau Jaya-Parit Sarem sebelum umur pelayanan dilalui satu diantaranya akibat adanya beban berlebih dari kendaraan berat yang membawa material dan hasil perkebunan melewati ruas jalan tersebut. Penelitian Penentuan Tebal Perkerasan Dengan Metode Desain Perkerasan Jalan (MDPJ) Tahun 2017 pada Perencanaan Teknis Jalan Rasau Jaya-Parit Sarem ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perkerasan jalan dengan menggunakan software KENPAVE untuk memprediksi kerusakan akan terjadi berupa fatigue cracking dan rutting pada perkerasan lentur dan kerusakan berupa cracks pada rigid pavement serta pengaruhnya terhadap umur rencana. Bedasarkan hasil analisis kerusakan jalan menggunakan software KENPAVE prediksi kemungkinan terjadinya kerusakan retak lelah (fatigue cracking) dan alur (rutting) pada analisa tebal perkerasan lentur didapatkan bahwa metode menggunakan MDPJ dapat memenuhi umur rencana 20 tahun. Hasil analisis kemungkinan terjadinya kerusakan permanent deformation pada analisa tebal perkerasan lentur didapatkan metode analisis tebal perkerasan MDPJ dapat memenuhi umur rencana 20 tahun. Hasil prediksi kemungkinan terjadinya kerusakan cracking pada analisa tebal perkerasan kaku didapatkan bahwa metode analisis tebal perkerasan MDPJ belum dapat memenuhi umur rencana 20 tahun yaitu umur layanannya hanya dapat sampai tahun ke-7.

Abstract

This study evaluates the use of Bagasse Ash (BA) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as partial cement replacements in standard concrete. The experiment used cylindrical specimens with diameters of 10 cm and 15 cm, with cement replaced by BA and RHA at 0% (control), 2.5%+2.5%, 5%+5%, and 7.5%+7.5%. Tests on material properties and concrete performance—including slump, unit weight, compressive strength, and splitting tensile strength—were conducted in accordance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI). The results show that increasing BA and RHA content reduces slump values, from 90 mm in the control mixture to 75 mm at the highest substitution level, but all mixtures remained within the acceptable workability range of 75–100 mm and met the criteria for normal-weight concrete. The highest 28-day compressive strength, 32.900 MPa, was achieved with the 2.5% BA + 2.5% RHA mixture, slightly exceeding that of the control concrete. The greatest splitting tensile strength, 2.924 MPa, occurred at the 5% BA + 5% RHA level. Overall, the findings indicate that moderate substitution using BA and RHA can maintain satisfactory mechanical performance while offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional cement.

Abstract

Kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komiditas terbesar di Indonesia terutama di pulau Kalimantan dan tiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan luas. Hal tersebut berimbas pada banyaknya limbah yang dihasilkan dari pabrik pengolahan kelapa sawit itu sendiri, limbah yang dimaksud antara lain adalah abu kelapa sawit, sisa pembakaran boiler untuk bahan bakar ketel uap yang ada di pabrik kelapa sawit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja dan dan sifat fisis campuran setelah ditambahkan abu sawit sebagai filler yang di subtitusi dengan abu batu dengan persentase variasi 0/100, 25/75, 50/50, 75/25, 100/0   pada campuran perkerasan jalan AC-WC. Dari hasil pengujian marshall test   didapat kesimpulan bahwa semakin meningkatnya kadar abu kelapa sawit semakin meningkat pula KAO, Kadar aspal optimum tertinggi pada variasi 100 % abu sawit % abu batu yaitu 6,375 %. Untuk nilai stabilitas tertinggi   pada variasi 0/100 yaitu 935,64 kg, terendah pada variasi 100/0 yaitu 881,05 kg, untuk flow tertinggi pada variasi 0/100 yaitu 3,61 mm dan terendah pada variasi 25/75 yaitu 2,50 mm. Dari keselurhan hasil pengujian untuk semua variasi subtitusi filler abu kelapa sawit dengan abu batu semuanya masuk dalam syarat spesifikasi Bina marga 2018 revisi II.Kata kunci : Abu Kelapa Sawit, Subtitusi Filler, Aspal Beton Lapis Aus

Abstract

Tanah lempung merupakan tanah kohesif yang memiliki nilai kohesi (c) tanah yang besar serta memiliki kecenderungan nilai batas cair (LL) dan nilai indeks plastisitas (IP) yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan batas cair (LL) dan indeks plastisitas (IP) terhadap nilai kohesi pada tanah lempung di Kabupaten Mempawah.   Dalam penelitian ini, pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji geser langsung. Sampel tanah yang akan digunakan adalah jenis tanah lempung yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Mempawah. Berdasarkan sistem klasifikasi AASHTO, USCS dan USDA, untuk semua sampel tanah yang digunakan dan telah diuji memiliki fraksi lempung. Hasil data yang dianalisa menggunakan metode analisa regresi dan korelasi menghasilkan persamaan (c = -0,0037(LL) + 0,2862 dengan r ² = 0,4315) dan (c = -0,0034(IP) + 0,1770 dengan r ² = 0,3040). Pada uji hipotesa menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifkan antara nilai batas cair (LL) dan nilai indeks plastisitas (IP) terhadap nilai kohesi (c) tanah lempung di Kabupaten Mempawah. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa semakin besar nilai batas cair (LL), dan nilai indeks plastisitas (IP) maka nilai kohesi tanah (c) semakin kecil.Kata kunci: batas cair, indeks plastisitas, kohesi, tanah lempung, uji geser langsung
