Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of Interactive Digital Module Physics (IDMP) for additional teaching materials in vector concepts. The IDMP which was developed according to the ADDIE model and its implementation uses the Interactive Lecture Demonstration (ILD) learning model. A total of 65 participants were students enrolled in a Basic Physics course at a university in a special area in the central district of Indonesia. The instrument used to validate the IDMP uses a scale of 1-5 and has a scoring rubric and processing effectiveness data using technique Cohen's D formula. The intervention group was given training assignments in using ILD-based IDMPs while the control group was given ILD-based assignments only. The results of this study obtained data that the intervention group was significantly better than the control group, found there was no significant increase. Cohen's D score in the intervention group had a large impact on the control group of 1.17 with a 95% confidence interval. Furthermore, they get learning experience by providing feedback that the course material using ILD-based IDMP can challenge students to learn independently.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Mobile Learning Simulation (MLS) media that is valid for learning the concept of heat transfer. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). MLS was developed to make it easier for students to learn the concept of expansion and increase their understanding of the microscopic nature of heat transfer. MLS can display six 2D simulations, namely the processes of length expansion, area expansion, volume expansion, and heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation. The product effectiveness test was carried out with correspondents of 35 students in one of the schools in western Indonesia, obtaining an average score of 84.3% and was in the very good category. Based on the test results, the MLS application is efficient and suitable for use as a physics learning medium in high school.

Abstract

The application of multiple representation approach in physics learning has been adopted by several researchers, especially to improve the ability and achieve effective learning. The use of multiple representation approach in physics learning over the past few years has provided good results on student learning outcomes, including being able to improve and develop abstract physics concepts, scientific complex skills, metacognition skills, and problem solving. This research is the result of a review based on bibliometric analysis of multiple representations in physics learning. Data was obtained based on Scopus sources from 2013 to 2023, then obtained data as many as 121 articles which then the data was processed using RStudio and VOSViewer. Based on the results of the analysis using Rstudio and VOSViewer, it also displays other information such as year, country, author, institution, journal, co-word analysis, co-occurrence network, and visual density on occurrence. The results of this study provide a framework of the current trends of multiple representations in physics learning both in the present and some indicators that can be used as opportunities for future research.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligent Independent Learning (AIIL) with physics chatbot of global warming concept. Method of research uses the Research & Development method referring to the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted with 64 students at Senior High School in Indonesia who were divided into chatbot-based experimental groups and control groups. The results of this study were obtained by conducting the normalized gain <g> test of 0.60 (medium category) for the control group and 0.87 (high category) in the experimental group. As for the results of the Cohen's D effect-size test, the result was 0.93 with high category AAIL for increasing learning outcome. Thus, the developed AAIL chatbot has high effectiveness in increasing learning outcome.

Abstract

The research was conducted to analyze the level of students critical thinking skills and and the requirements for implementing PBL using android modules to improve students critical thinking skills in physics. This research method was included in the preliminary research with a sample of 174 students in XI grade MIPA at Gresik State High School. Data collection is done by sharing critical thinking tests with students, conducting questionnaires for students, and conducting teacher interviews. The data is examined both qualitatively and descriptively to explain the research's findings. The results of this research showed that 1) many students still had a low level of critical thinking. Of the 174 students, 119 have low level, 44 have medium level, and 10 have high level. The evaluation indicator has the lowest average value, and the interpretation indicator has the highest average. Student critical thinking skills are higher for females than for males. The conclusion is that the skills to think critically is very important during learning, especially in physics. To improve the critical thinking skills of students, the way that can be done is by applying PBL-assisted android modules.

Abstract

Abstrak Media Spherical Video dalam bidang Pendidikan masih jarang dikembangkan. Spherical Video atau Video 360 adalah jenis konten video imersif, memungkinkan pengguna untuk melihat ke segala arah, dan mengontrol apa yang ingin dilihat. Langkah-langkah penelitian diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan kepada 30 siswa. Hasil analisis kebutuhan siswa menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa lebih tertarik menggunakan media pembelajaran lewat internet atau handphone dan sebanyak 100% siswa merasa tertarik jika spherical video dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran. Pnelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Spherical Video pada Konsep Pemanasan Global. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, dan Evaluation). Setelah media dikembangkan, dilakukan uji validasi ahli mengenai aspek media dan materi Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan melakukan uji validasi ahli dengan hasil 89% dengan kategori Valid. Dengan demikian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Spherical Video pada Konsep Pemanasan Global yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah. Kata-kata kunci: Spherical Video, Pemanasan Global, Fisika. Abstract Spherical Video media for education is still rarely developed. Spherical Video or 360 Video is a type of immersive video content, allowing users to look in any direction, and control what they want to see. The research steps began with a needs analysis of 30 students. The results of the student needs analysis show that 90% of students are more interested in using learning media via the internet or smartphones and 100% of students were interested if spherical video was developed as learning media. This research aims to produce Spherical Video on the Concept of Global Warming. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation). After the media was developed, an expert validation test was carried out regarding the media and material aspects. The results of the study were obtained by conducting an expert validation test with a result of 90% with a very feasible category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Spherical Video on the Concept of Global Warming that has been developed can be use as learning media in schools. Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi pada bidang pendidikan terutama pada media dan pendekatan pembelajaran yaitu penggabungan buku dengan teknologi yang berupa interaktif digital modul berbasis STEM. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan siswa, sebanyak 79% siswa membutuhkan modul pembelajaran digital interaktif yang dapat membantu dalam memahami materi fisika dan sebanyak 53% siswa tidak mengetahui tentang pendekatan STEM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Interaktif Digital Modul Energi Terbarukan (IDM-ET) berbasis STEM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan melakukan uji validasi IDM-ET oleh ahli media dan materi yang memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 85,7% dengan skala interpretasi valid dari aspek tampilan modul, bahasa dan penulisan, kemudahan penggunaan, isi materi, dan pembelajaran STEM. IDM-ET juga telah diuji cobakan kepada siswa SMA yang memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 91,8% dengan skala interpretasi sangat baik dari aspek tampilan modul, isi materi, dan kemanfaatan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa IDM-ET berbasis STEM yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid dan sangat baik untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Abstract One of the uses of technology in the education sector, especially in media and learning approaches, is the combination of books with technology in the form of STEM-based interactive digital modules. Based on the analysis of student needs, 79% of students need interactive digital learning modules that can help them understand physics material and 53% of students do not know about the STEM approach. This research aims to produce Interactive Digital Modules Renewable Energy (IDM-ET) based on STEM. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research results were obtained by conducting the IDM-ET validation test by media and material experts who obtained an average score of 85.7% with a valid interpretation scale from the aspects of module appearance, language and writing, ease of use, content, and STEM learning. IDM-ET has also been tested on high school students who obtained an average score of 91.8% with a very good interpretation scale from the aspect of module appearance, material content, and usability. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed STEM-based IDM-ET has been declared valid and very good for use as a physics learning medium. Abstract

Abstrak Interaktif Digital Modul Physics (IDMP) berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah sebuah inovasi pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep usaha dan energi dalam fisika dengan cara yang lebih interaktif dan efektif. IDMP ini berisi beberapa komponen seperti teori, soal dan video yang saling terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul digital berbasis Problem Based Learnning pada materi usaha dan energi yang valid digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang dilengkapi dengan teknologi digital yang memungkinkan siswa untuk memperoleh informasi melalui berbagai media seperti video, simulasi, dan animasi. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Produk akhir dari penelitian ini berupa modul digital berbentuk sebuah aplikasi android sehingga dapat diakses dengan mudah melalui smartphone. Produk akan divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli pembelajaran, serta dilakukan ujicoba kepada guru fisika dan peserta didik. Abstract The Interactive Digital Module Physics (IDMP) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) is an innovative learning tool designed to assist students in understanding the concepts of work and energy in physics in a more interactive and effective way. IDMP consists of several components such as theory, problems, and integrated videos. This research aims to produce a digital module based on Problem Based Learning on the topic of work and energy that is valid as a physics learning media equipped with digital technology, enabling students to obtain information through various media such as videos, simulations, and animations. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The final product of this research is a digital module in the form of an Android application that can be easily accessed through a smartphone. The product will be validated by media experts, subject matter experts, and learning experts, as well as tested by physics teachers and students. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-learning berbasis POQE berbantuan Microsoft Sway pada konsep global warming sebagai media bahan ajar yang efektif serta dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika. E-learning disajikan dalam bentuk link sehingga dapat diakses melalui berbagai macam perangkat elektronik kapan dan dimana saja. Komponen e-learning terdiri dari, capaian pembelajaran, alur tujuan pembelajaran, indikator POQE, peta konsep, materi, informasi teknologi, soal pre-test, quiz, video dan form serta pelengkap lainnya. Studi pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan ke sejumlah siswa SMA, sebanyak 77,3% menyatakan bahwa penggunaan internet lebih sering digunakan sebagai sumber belajar. Studi ini mengusulkan model inkuiri "prediction-observation-quiz-explanation" (POQE) untuk merancang program pembelajaran global warming. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan D'Cohen Formula untuk mengukur efektifitas dari e-learning dan validasi media serta materi menggunakan Model Rasch dengan pengolahan data berbantuan aplikasi Ministep. Penelitian yang dilakukan masih dalam proses dan terus berlanjut. Kata-kata kunci: e-learning, inkuiri POQE, global warming. Abstract This study aims to produce POQE-based e-learning assisted by Microsoft Sway on the concept of global warming as an effective teaching material that can be applied to physics learning. E-learning is presented in the form of a link so that it can be accessed via a variety of electronic devices anytime and anywhere. The e-learning component consists of learning outcomes, learning objectives flow, POQE indicators, concept maps, materials, information technology, pre-test questions, quizzes, videos and other forms and supplements. Preliminary studies that have been conducted on a number of high school students, as much as 77.3% stated that the use of the internet is more often used as a learning resource. This study proposes a "prediction-observation-quiz-explanation" (POQE) inquiry model to design a global warming learning program. This study uses the Research and Development research method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). In this study, the D'Cohen Formula was used to measure the effectiveness of e-learning and media and material validation using the Rasch Model with data processing assisted by the Ministep application. Abstract

Abstrak Digital modul merupakan bahan ajar yang dapat membantu peserta didik belajar secara mandiri, kapanpun dan dimanapun, melalui media berbasis internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbentuk digital modul pada konsep energi terbarukan berbasis Microsoft Sway. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development (RnD) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa digital modul yang dapat diakses melalui Microsoft Sway, konten pada digital modul berupa materi pokok energi terbarukan, contoh dan evaluasi, praktikum online, serta game interaktif untuk mereview materi yang telah dipelajari. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, sebanyak 91,5% peserta didik tertarik menggunakan digital modul berbasis Microsoft Sway sebagai sumber belajar. Uji validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menggunakan angket serta diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik. Kata-kata kunci: Digital Modul, Energi Terbarukan, Sway. The results of this study are digital modules that can be accessed via Microsoft Sway, content on digital modules in the form of renewable energy subject matter, examples, evaluations, online practicum, and interactive games to review material that has been studied. Based on needs analysis, 91.5% of students are interested in using digital modules based on Microsoft Sway as a learning resource.
