Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop a Prediction, Alternative conceptions, Refutation, Observation, Comparison and Scientific explanation (PAROCS) strategy to change students’ alternative concepts on inertia concept. The research method used is the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Participants were 30 students (15 boys and 15 girls, their average age were 15-16) in class X of a public high school in Sukabumi, West Java. The instrument used is a four-tier diagnostic test. Data were analyzed based on a 4D model and conceptual category. At the disseminate stage, it shows an increase in scientific concepts and a decrease in alternative concepts after the application of the PAROCS strategy. From this, it can conclude that PAROCS strategy can be developed to change students’ alternative concepts into scientific concepts. Further studies could not only use the PAROCS strategy, but also develop this strategy for different physics concepts.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul digital berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) berbantuan Canva yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mandiri siswa dengan materi energi geotermal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Langkah-langkahnya adalah melakukan analisis, melakukan perancangan produk, melakukan pengembangan produk, melakukan implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMA di Jakarta dengan total 119 responden didapatkan hasil: sebanyak 26.1% responden belajar fisika menggunakan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk modul, sebanyak 28.6% responden belajar fisika menggunakan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk web membantu dalam memahami materi, dan dari survei penelitian awal sebanyak 87% menyatakan tertarik dan sangat penting dalam mempelajari sumber energi panas bumi. Uji kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis STEM berbantuan Canva pada materi energi panas bumi divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan angket uji validasi. Kemudian, pengujian dilakukan kepada sejumlah siswa di tingkat SMA. Kata-kata kunci: modul digital, Canva, STEM, energi geotermal Abstract This study aims to produce a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math )-based digital module with the help of Canva that can be used as a medium for student self-learning with geothermal energy materials. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The steps are conducting analysis, product design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of preliminary research conducted on high school students in Jakarta with a total of 119 respondents obtained the results: as many as 26.1% of respondents studied physics using learning media in the form of modules, 28.6% of respondents studied physics using learning media in a web form to help understand the material, and from the initial survey research as much as 87% stated that they are interested and very important in studying geothermal energy sources. The feasibility test of Canva-assisted STEM-based learning media on geothermal energy materials was validated by media experts and material experts using a validation test questionnaire. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan pendekatan STEM-Project Based Learning berbantuan Aplikasi Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite (PTSS) untuk meningkatkan berfikir kreatif siswa pada materi koefisien gaya gesek. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model STEM-Project Based Learning. Langkah-langkah nya terdiri dari Scientific Inquiry, Technological Application, Engineering Design, dan Mathematics Processing. Hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang dilakukan kepada siswa SMA di Jakarta dengan total 44 responden didapatkan hasil: penggunaan media pembelajaran selama belajar dari rumah sebanyak 29,5% responden menggunakan Google Classroom, sebanyak 22,7% responden menggunakan WhatsApp Group, sebanyak 20,5% responden menggunakan Zoom Meeting, sebanyak 11,4% responden menggunakan Google Meet, sebanyak 2,3% responden menggunakan Youtube, sebanyak 2,3% responden menggunakan PowerPoint dan sebanyak 2,3% responden menggunakan E-Modul, sebanyak 90,9% responden belum mengetahui adanya aplikasi PTSS. Maka, dalam penelitian ini dipilih aplikasi PTSS untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran fisika dan akan dilakukan pengujian kepada sejumlah siswa di tingkat SMA. Abstract This study aims to apply the STEM-Project Based Learning approach assisted by the Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite (PTSS) application on the friction coefficient material. The learning model used in this study is the STEM-Project Based Learning model. The steps consist of Scientific Inquiry, Technological Application, Engineering Design, and Mathematics Processing. The results of preliminary research conducted on high school students in Jakarta with a total of 44 respondents obtained the results: the use of learning media while studying from home, as many as 29.5% of respondents using Google Classroom, as many as 22.7% of respondents using WhatsApp Group, as many as 20.5% of respondents using Zoom Meeting, 11.4% of respondents using Google Meet, 2.3% of respondents using Youtube, 2.3% of respondents using Powerpoint and 2.3% of respondents using E-Modules, 90.9% of respondents don't know about the PTSS application yet. So, in this study, the PTSS application was chosen to support physics learning activities and will be tested on several students at the high school level. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika berupa modul digital fluida berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) sebagai bahan ajar. Modul digital yang dikembangkan berisi materi fluida dinamis. Konten dalam modul digital ini didukung dengan gambar, video, animasi, praktikum dan proyek sederhana, serta evaluasi pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran peserta didik secara mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Langkah-langkahnya adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan, merancang media, menghasilkan dan memvalidasi media, mempersiapkan lingkungan belajar dan menilai kualitas instruksional media. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan menggunakan studi literatur tentang ketersediaan bahan ajar didapatkan hasil bahwa ketersediaan bahan ajar modul digital berbasis STEM pada materi fluida ketersediaanya kurang banyak. Selain itu, hasil dari angket kuisioner diperoleh sebanyak 82,5% siswa membutuhkan bahan ajar yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan dalam memahami materi fluida. Uji kelayakan materi dan media menggunakan angket uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan media serta uji coba dilakukan kepada siswa SMA. Abstract This study aims to develop physics learning media in the form of STEM-based fluid digital modules (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as teaching materials. The developed digital module contains dynamic fluid matter. The content in this digital module is supported by images, videos, animations, practicums, and simple projects, as well as learning evaluations that can support student learning independently. The method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The steps are to perform a needs analysis, design a medium, produce and validate the media, prepare the learning environment and assess the instructional quality of the media. Based on the results of the needs analysis using a literature study on the availability of teaching materials, the results of the availability of STEM-based digital module teaching materials in fluid materials are less available. In addition, the results of the questionnaire obtained as many as 82.5% of students needed teaching materials that could overcome difficulties in understanding fluid materials. The feasibility test of materials and media uses validation test questionnaires carried out by material and media experts, and trials are carried out on high school students. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Modul Pembelajaran Digital menggunakan model Science, Technology, Engineering dan Mathematics (STEM) pada materi magnet. Modul Digital dikembangkan untuk mempermudah siswa dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran secara mandiri. STEM adalah pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk memecahkan masalah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah materi magnet pada kemagnetan, medan magnet di sekitar kawat berarus, dan gaya lorentz. Hasil studi pendahuluan, dengan metode survei kepada 33 siswa, bahwa 72,7% materi magnet sulit dipahami, 64,4% mengalami kesulitan menyelesaikan soal materi magnet, 60,6% mengalami kesulitan mengingat rumus/materi dalam materi magnet. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan langkah-langkah: Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating. Kata-kata kunci: STEM, Modul Digital, Pembelajaran, Magnet, ADDIE, Flipbook Abstract This research aims to develop a Digital Learning Module using Model Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in magnetic materials. Digital Modules are developed to make it easier for students to carry out the learning process independently. STEM is learning that emphasizes the knowledge and skills to solve problems. The subjects of this study were magnetic matter on magnetism, magnetic fields around the impacted wire, and Lorentz force. The preliminary study results, with a survey method of 33 students, show that 72.7% of magnetic matter is difficult to understand, 64.4% have difficulty solving magnetic matter problems, and 60.6% have difficulty remembering formulas/materials in the magnetic material. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sumber belajar yaitu modul elektronik (E-modul) belajar siswa dengan pendekatan Dilemmas Stories pada materi listrik dinamis dengan metode Science, Tecnology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) sebagai pengetahuan yang layak sebagai sumber belajar siswa dalam meningkatkan wawasannya dan karakter tentang listrik dinamis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII IPA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Jakarta sebanyak 36 siswa. Cerita dilema yang digunakan yaitu dilema penggunaan listrik dengan pendekatan yang dibentuk berdasarkan perpaduan beberapa disiplin ilmu yaitu Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Methematics (STEAM). Untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul yaitu berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, angket respon guru, angket respon siswa terhadap modul tersebut. Model pengembagan yang diugunakan penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisys, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah E-Modul dapat memberikan informasi dan memotivasi dalam pembelajaran dengan perangkat lunak komputer yang lainnya dalam hal meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, soft skills lain sebagai implikasi dari pembelajaran yaitu refleksi terhadap nilai-nilai, rasa ingin tahu, bertanggung jawab, dan berani berargumentasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dalam penerapan pendekatan Dilemmas STEAM meningkatkan wawasannya dan karakter. Oleh karena itu, bisa dikatakan bahwa pendekatan ini dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Kata-kata kunci: E-Modul, Dilemma STEAM, ADDIE, Listrik Dinamis Abstract This study aims to produce a source study that is module electronics (e-module) learning student with Dilemmas Stories approach to the Theory of dynamic electricity with method Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) as proper knowledge as source study student in increase his insight and character about electricity dynamic. The subject study is student class XII science in the high school in Jakarta, with as many as 36 students. The dilemma story used is about using electricity with a formed approach based on the fusion of some discipline of knowledge, that is, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Appropriateness of the module know based on results validation expert, questionnaire teacher response, and questionnaire response students to the module. The development model used to study this is the ADDIE model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The expected results from the study are that e-module could give information and motivate learning with the device and other computer software to increase student results. Besides that, another soft skill implication from learning is the reflection on values, desire to know, being responsible for answering, and brave argument. The study also finds that applying the STEAM Dilemmas approach improves his insight and character. Because of that, this approach could be applied to learning physics. Abstract

Abstrak Model pembelajaran STEM-Project Based Learning merupakan kombinasi dari model pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technologi, Engineering, Mathematics) dan PjBL (Project Based Learning) yang dapat membantu siswa untuk memahami sebuah konsep pembelajaran melalui sebuah kegiatan proyek. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja pesertadidik berbasis STEM-Project Based Learning pada materi Induksi Elektromagnetik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Berdasarkan hasil survei yang disebar ke 24 peserta didik SMA didapatkan bahwa terdapat 50% peserta didik menyatakan materi Induksi Elektromagnetik dianggap sulit, 8,3% peserta didik menyatakan materi Induksi Elektromagnetik sangat sulit, dan 66,7% peserta didik menyatakan tertarik menggunakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis STEM-Project Based Learning. Model pembelajaran STEM-Project Based Learning diawali dengan tahap reflection, selanjutnya tahap research, discovery, application, dan diakhiri tahap communication. Hasil penelitian ini berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis STEM-Project Based Learning sebagai media pembelajaran untuk memahami konsep Induksi Elektromagnetik. LKPD terintegrasi STEM-Project Based Learning ini diharapkan mampu membantu peserta didik dalam pemantapan dan pemahaman konsep dengan baik. Kata-kata kunci: LKPD, STEM, PjBL, Induksi Elektromagnetik Abstract STEM-Project Based Learning learning model is a combination of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning models that can help students understand a learning concept through a project activity. Therefore, this study aims to develop student worksheets based on STEM-Project Based Learning on Electromagnetic Induction. This research was conducted by applying the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Based on the results of a survey distributed to 24 high school students, it was found that 50% of students stated that electromagnetic induction material was considered difficult, 8,3% of students stated that electromagnetic induction material was very difficult, and 66,7% of students stated that they were interested in using the Student Worksheet. The STEM-Project Based Learning learning model begins with the reflection stage, then the research, discovery, application stage, and ends with the communication stage. The results of this study are student worksheets based on STEM-Project Based Learning as a learning medium to understand the concept of Electromagnetic Induction. The integrated STEM-Project Based Learning LKPD is expected to be able to assist students in strengthening and understanding concepts well. Keywords: LKPD, STEM, PjBL, Electromagnetic Induction

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui komik fisika berbasis flipbook. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design dengan pendekatan pre-experimental. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara random sampling sebanyak 68 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol. Media yang digunakan adalah komik berbasis flipbook tentang materi usaha dan energi. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dianalisis berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil dari kedua kelas yang diujikan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh media komik flipbook terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil hipotesis untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pada nilai pretest dan posttest berada pada kategori rendah . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa komik fisika berbasis flipbook yang dikembangkan terdapat pengaruh yang sedikit terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Kata Kunci: Komik berbasis flipbook, Kemampuan berpikir kritis. Abstract This research aims to determine the effect of students' critical thinking skills through flipbook-based physics comics. This type of research is a quantitative research using a one-group pretest-posttest design with a pre-experimental approach. The research sample was determined by random sampling as many as 68 students. This research was conducted in one experimental class and one control class. The media used is a flipbook-based comic about business and energy. Students' critical thinking skills were analyzed based on the results of the pretest and posttest. The results of the two classes tested showed the influence of flipbook comic media on students' critical thinking skills. The hypotesis result for the experimental class and control class showed an influence on the pretest and posttest scores in the low category. Thus, it can be concluded that the flipbook-based physics comic that was developed has a smal influence on students' critical thinking skills. Keywords: Flipbook-based comic, Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

Abstrak Berdasarkan hasil studi Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) menunjukkan bahwa sikap percaya diri akan kemampuannya atau Self Efficacy peserta didik Indonesia berada pada posisi di bawah rata-rata. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat mempengaruhi self efficacy peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran STEM-Project Based Learning terhadap self-efficacy pada materi fluida statis menggunakan VOSviewer. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode analisis bibliometrik dengan mengumpulkan beberapa artikel dari jurnal ilmiah, baik nasional maupun internasional. Artikel yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan analisis penggunaan model pembelajaran STEM-Project Based Learning terhadap Self Efficacy pada materi fluida statis. Kata-kata kunci: Self-efficacy, STEM-Project Based Learning, Model pembelajaran Abstract Based on the results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) study, it shows that the self-confidence of Indonesian students is in a position below the average. With these problems, a learning model is needed that can affect the self-efficacy of students. This study aims to analyze the STEM-Project Based Learning model of self-efficacy in static fluid materials using VOSviewer. The method used is the bibliometric analysis method by collecting several articles from scientific journals, both national and international. The articles that have been collected are then analyzed using VOSviewer. The results of this study indicate the analysis of the use of the STEM-Project Based Learning method on Self Efficacy on static fluid materials. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi android berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pada materi fluida berbantuan articulate storyline. Aplikasi Android dikembangkan untuk mempermudah siswa dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. STEM adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang memiliki pendekatan berbasis masalah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah materi fluida statis dan fluida dinamis. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan dengan metode survei kepada 54 siswa dan 3 guru SMA di Jakarta, didapatkan 89,5% materi fisika dianggap materi sulit dipahami oleh siswa karena rumus yang terlalu banyak, serta siswa mengalami kesulitan untuk menyelesaikan soal fluida. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan langkah-langkah: Analyzing, Designing, Developing, Implementing, and Evaluating. Android app was developed to make it easier for students and teachers in the learning process. STEM is a learning approach that has a problem-based approach. The subjects of this study are static fluid matter and dynamic fluid. Based on the results of a preliminary study with a survey method of 54 students and three high school teachers in Jakarta, 89.5% of physic materials were considered difficult to understand by students because of too many formulas, and students had difficulty solving fluid problems.
