Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a social phenomenon that involves behavior that does not comply with the norms and rules that apply in society. Juvenile delinquency has a negative impact on individuals, families and society. One of the factors that can affect the level of juvenile delinquency is the school environment. Collaboration between students and schools is crucial in controlling juvenile delinquency. In criminological studies, collaboration between students and schools can be an effective strategy in controlling juvenile delinquency. Schools act as educational institutions that can provide a holistic approach to prevention and intervention. The problem that occurred at SMAN 2 XIII Koto Kampar was that there was a lot of juvenile delinquency committed by students due to a lack of knowledge about juvenile delinquency. This service is carried out with the aim of forming students' understanding, especially students of SMAN 2 XIII Koto Kampar regarding juvenile delinquency and its effects, and an introduction regarding the importance of collaboration between students and schools as controlling juvenile delinquency. This service method is carried out by carrying out the preparation stages and the implementation stages of socialization. The results found in this service are that students understand the impact of juvenile delinquency and the urgency of collaboration in controlling juvenile delinquency and follow socialization properly.

Abstract

Vandalisme termasuk perbuatan merusak dan menghancurkan sebuah hasil karya seni atau barang berharga lainnya dengan kata lain menghancurkan dan merusak secara kasar dan  ganas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor penghambat Satpol PP dalam menangani kejahatan dan mengatasi kejahatan Vandalisme di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan menggambarkan keadaaan yang sebenarnya terkait apa yang terjadi dilokasi penelitian melalui pengumpulan, menganalisa dan mengidentifikasi sehingga didapatkan jawaban dari permasalahan yang telah dirumuskan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku vandalisme terjadi karena adanya faktor lingkungan dan orang tua. Karena hal itu, perlu adanya sosialisasi untuk seluruh masyarakat seputar vandalisme, dengan bantuan koordinasi berbagai kalangan aparat pemerintah dan penegak hukum, maka diharapkan dapat menjadi cara mengatasi vandalisme yang terjadi dengan diadakannya patroli rutin. Beberapa kendala aparat pemerintah dalam menjalan kan tugas dan fungsinya saat terjadinya aksi vandalisme, yaitu karena belum adanya regulasi khusus untuk penanganan pada fasilitas publik dan belum adanya ruang khusus atau tempat berekspresi untuk masyarakat dalam menyalurkan kreativitas terutama grafiti

Abstract

Juvenile recidivism poses significant challenges for society, as young offenders often cycle through crime due to negative environmental influences and lack of support. This study aims to explore effective rehabilitation strategies for juvenile recidivists in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews with juvenile inmates, prison guards, and analyses of inmate files, guidance regulations, and annual reports. The findings indicate that a comprehensive coaching model, which includes rehabilitation, educational initiatives, social support, and legal education, significantly aids in the social reintegration of juvenile offenders. The study highlights the importance of tailored rehabilitation approaches that address the unique needs of juveniles compared to adult offenders. To enhance reintegration efforts, the author recommends implementing community-based support programs and increasing collaboration between juvenile justice systems and local organizations to provide ongoing assistance and mentorship for former inmates.Keywords: Juvenile recidivism, recidivism, recidivist, recidivist coaching, social reintegration.

Abstract

Prisons as a place for the implementation of guidance for residents have caused various kinds of problems. The escape or flight of correctional residents is a phenomenon that continues to occur in prisons. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the efforts made by the Kuantan Bay Class IIB Prison in protecting the escape or flight of residents from prison. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Qualitative methods are used by researchers to provide data images based on what is seen which is collected and in the form of notes or documents or interviews to related sources. The results revealed that the escape of prisoners was caused by many factors, namely the inability to maximize supervision by prisons due to overcrowded, and the strong desire of the residents. to meet with family. The conclusion in this study is that the efforts made by The Kuantan Bay Class IIB Prison in protecting the residents of the fostered escape or run away are by establishing good relations between prison officers and the fostered residents, providing punishment for residents who have escaped, holding coaching, training and useful activities for the fostered residents. In addition, in terms of facilities and building conditions, building and security improvements are also carried out to minimize residents from escaping or running away from prisons such as the addition of barbed wire so that fences are not easy to climb. The conclusion of this study is effort.

Abstract

Proper and effective rehabilitation patterns for terrorist criminals remain a critical concern in Indonesian correction institutions. A thorough knowledge of extremism and terrorism remains a barrier to rehabilitation. Despite the significant loss of life resulting from the actions of the perpetrators, they maintain a conviction that their deeds are genuine and aligned with the principles espoused by Islam. The culprits' strong adherence to the imam's authority poses challenges to their willingness to consider perspectives that originate from their external groups. The results of this study showed that the pattern of rehabilitation that has been done has not been done to the fullest extent. This was found by using a qualitative approach and the case study method on the Nusakambangan correction institutions Class IIA, where data is collected through field observations and in-depth interviews with some key informants. The religious comprehension of incarcerated terrorists is deeply extremist. This is attributable, among other things, to the jail's poor quality of human resources in the rehabilitation process, the jail's lack of funds and supplies, and the convicts' inactivity in responding to government programs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the guidance of prisoners in the Indonesian criminal justice system, especially the guidance of prisoners with life sentences who are vulnerable to various disorders, including psychological disorders. The research method used is qualitative research, then data analysis is carried out by arranging, sorting, grouping and categorizing it according to the research context. The research results show the need for a holistic rehabilitative approach that involves various aspects, such as education, skills and mental health. Effective coaching not only improves individuals personally but also contributes to the prevention of reoffending and social reintegration. The implications of these findings for criminal policy and the justice system are also discussed

Abstract

One of the features of adolescent recognition is wild racing. Wild racing is a high-speed activity (which exceeds the normal limits in the Traffic Act) whether it is a motorcycle or a car that does not meet national standards or equipment standards, performed on public tracks. The method in this research uses qualitative research which is research that can give a detailed description and analysis of the phenomena that occur. The school acts as a guide by advising, educating and being a good example to its students. As far as schools are concerned, these are: the implementation of sanctions on construction, the introduction of a full-day system, active extracurricular activities, strict school care, the participation of parents in the supervision of children, the provision of a persuasive approach to students. (Imtak Dan Literasi). There are two factors that most influence the onset of juvenile disability in wild racing, both external and internal. On the subject of this research uses social bonding theory which studies a social and personal relationship with other people or their surroundings. In the role of school with all kinds of efforts to minimize the rate of adolescent disability especially wild racing must have its own obstacles experienced. As is expected in the future, youth racing will be reduced and replaced by other positive activities.

Abstract

In an effort to control social behaviour, the Indonesian National Police implemented the concept of community policing (Polmas). The police then formed the Binmas or Bina Masyarakat unit as the spearhead of community service. Pekanbaru Kota Police Station as Harkamtibmas Police Station is not equipped with Criminal Investigation unit. The purpose of this research is to examine the implementation of problem solving in dealing with the phenomenon of crime, as well as the correlation between problem solving policies and social control efforts. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, with data collection techniques by interview and documentation. From the results of interviews with informants, it can be concluded that the presence of problem solving is a form of alternative case handling other than procedural law, where this policy prioritises the principle of consensus so that cases can be resolved through mediation between parties. In its implementation, apart from Bhabinkamtibmas, the Kelurahan government also participated in the mediation process between problem parties, represented by RT/RW

Abstract

Indonesia is a maritime country with vast sea territory, which has led to the phenomenon of illegal imports in several areas, including Bengkalis. This study aims to examine the factors causing meat smuggling in Bengkalis and the preventive efforts made by the Bengkalis Customs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research found that Bengkalis' geographical location, high import duty rates, and domestic demand prices trigger smuggling. Preventive efforts by Customs and Police include: a) sea and coastal patrols; b) food availability surveys with Disperindag; c) socialisation to the community to secure the area

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan upaya buat tingkatkan harkat serta martabat susunan warga yang dalam keadaan saat ini tidak sanggup buat membebaskan diri dari perangkap kemiskinan serta keterbelakangan. Sedangkan Etnografi kejahatan ialah satu disiplin ilmu yang mengkaji tentang fenomena kejahatan di bermacam wilayah di Indonesia, yang bentuk- bentuknya dipengaruhi oleh aspek budaya ataupun tradisi etnis tertentu di daerah- daerah tersebut. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian di Kelurahan Sungai Pagar Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai pemberdayaan masyarakat terhadap etnografi kejahatan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan, dimana tahap pertama merupakan tahap persiapan dan tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan pengabdian. Tim pengabdian memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pemberdayaan masyarakat terhadap bentuk etnografi kejahatan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu Masyarakat Kelurahan Sungai Pagar, Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir secara umum telah memahami defenisi kejahatan dan jenis-jenisnya tetapi tidak memahami tentang etnografi kejahatan di Indonesia, sehingga dengan dilakukannya sosialisasi terkait pemberdayaan etnografi kejahatan maka diharapkan masyarakat lebih mengenal lagi terkait dengan etnografi kejahatan.
