Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the needs of teachers and students to improve critical thinking; (2) develop a pop-up book media innovation design based on local potential integrated tri n to improve critical thinking; (3) test the feasibility of media pop up book based on local potential integrated tri n to improve critical thinking; (4) test the effectiveness of media pop up book based on local potential integrated tri n to improve critical thinking. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) research using the Borg and Gall development model. The development model used at Borg & Gall is described in 10 implementation stages. Data collection was carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. This research uses instruments that have been validated by experts. Data is presented quantitatively and qualitatively. The effectiveness of learning media was tested using the independent t-test and n-gain test.  Research subjects included a limited test of 10 students at Jaraksari 1 Elementary School an operational field test of 21 students at Jaraksari 3 Elementary School as the experimental class and 22 students at Jogoyitnan Elementary School as the control class. The research results show that: (1) analysis of student and teacher needs shows that pop-up book media based on integrated local potential is essential to improve the dimensions of critical thinking; (2) tri-n integrated local potential based pop-up book media developed through the Canva and Quizizz sites; (3) the validity of the Tri-N integrated local potential-based pop-up book media received a very decent title with an average of 93%; (4) the use of pop-up book media is effective in improving students' critical thinking with t-test results with sig (2-tailed) values, namely 0.000 < 0.05 and t count 5.011 > t table 1.681 as well as class n-gain scores experimental 0.577778 which is higher than the control class 0.285714.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran semestinya menyeimbangkan aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan sehingga siswa tidak hanya cerdas secara pengetahuannya saja, tetapi juga memiliki sikap atau karakter yang melekat. Salah satu karakter yang perlu ditanamkan dalam diri siswa yaitu peduli lingkungan. Wujud kecintaan terhadap lingkungan tidak hanya sebatas merawat tumbuhan saja, akan tetapi merawat hewan termasuk dalam sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Tumbuhnya sikap kepedulian terhadap hewan perlu ditanamkan di sekolah dasar yang terintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran. Gerakan SEPEKAN (Serentak Pelihara Ikan) merupakan salah satu program untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap hewan peliharaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Gerakan SEPEKAN dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Siswa terlibat langsung dalam memberi makan ikan, menguras botol tempat memelihara ikan, dan membersihkan tempat sekitar.

Abstract

The character of global diversity is essential for students, as today's world is interconnected without borders. The aim of this study is to determine the content quality of the e-worksheet, its visual design quality, its practicality, and its effectiveness in enhancing students’ global diversity character. This is an R&D study using the ADDIE model. The expert validation test involved three experts specializing in content, media, and practice. The effectiveness test subjects were 18 fourth-grade students from SD N Banjarharjo and SD N Kalibawang. The expert validation results showed that the content quality scored 97% (very appropriate category), and the visual quality scored 91% (very appropriate category). The practicality test resulted in a score of 92%, indicating it is very practical. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using a paired sample t-test showed an increase in the average score from 1.84 in the pretest to 2.90 in the posttest, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference. Therefore, the product is effective in improving students’ global diversity character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). Mengembangkan E-modul berbasis etnomatematika, (2) mengetahui kelayakan E-modul, dan (3) mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan E-modul untuk pengembangan keterampilan literasi numerasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, lembar observasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SDN Banjarharjo Tanjungsari. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validasi E-modul dilakukan oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan pengguna yaitu guru. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) produk yang dihasilkan berupa E-modul berbasis etnomatematika dengan budaya rasulan di Gunungkidul, (2) E-modul berbasis etnomatematika dinyatakan layak berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh 2 orang expert yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi serta seorang pengguna yaitu guru. Rerata perolehan skor dari 2 validator materi adalah 96,88% dengan kategori sangat layak. Rata-rata perolehan skor dari 2 validator media adalah 81,5% dengan kategori layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan (3) berdasarkan hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan SPSS 23, diperoleh rerata posttes kelas Eksperimen sebesar 92,73 sedangkan hasil posttes kelas kontrol sebesar 80,00 artinya E-modul berbasis etnomatematika efektif meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan Pendekatan Pengajaran Responsif Budaya Berbasis Tri-N dan hasilnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Metodologi kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan lapangan digunakan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching Berbasis Tri-N melalui tahap Niteni, Nirokake, dan Nambahi dapat dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya yang terintegrasi dengan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dan Pendidikan Pancasila. Selanjutnya hasil yang didapatkan yakni siswa dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa pada komponen yang menghasilkan konsep unik, karya dan aktivitas asli, serta fleksibilitas mental dalam mengejar pendekatan yang berbeda terhadap suatu isu.

Abstract

Pembelajaran konvensional dan rendahnya kemandirian belajar menyebabkan siswa bergantung pada guru sehingga kreativitas, berpikir kritis, dan daya saing sulit berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis website terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan 29 siswa kelas I sebagai responden. Data diperoleh melalui survei, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, pengkodean, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan kemandirian belajar terdiri atas kemampuan, keinginan, dan kebebasan belajar. Mayoritas siswa berada pada kategori “sangat mampu” dan “cukup mampu” memahami materi Pancasila Bab 3. Kesimpulannya, media berbasis website efektif meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas I. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi guru, sekolah, dan pihak terkait untuk memperkuat kemandirian belajar di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) yang terintegrasi dengan ajaran Tri-N (niteni, nirokke, nambahi) guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi dua ahli (materi dan media), satu guru kelas IV, serta 28 siswa sekolah dasar pada uji coba luas. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli, angket respon guru dan siswa, lembar observasi, dan tes berpikir kritis berdasarkan indikator Ennis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan menghitung persentase kelayakan, respon, serta efektivitas melalui uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul IPAS berbasis STEM terintegrasi Tri-N memperoleh rata-rata skor validasi sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat valid. Angket respon guru mencapai 90% dan respon siswa sebesar 88% yang keduanya termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor berpikir kritis siswa dari rata-rata pretest 56,42 menjadi 78,75 pada posttest dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,61 yang termasuk kategori sedang–tinggi. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran sekolah dasar. Modul IPAS berbasis STEM–Tri-N dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar inovatif yang mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sekaligus menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.   This study aims to develop a Science and Social Studies (IPAS) module based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) integrated with the Tri-N concept (niteni, nirokke, nambahi) to enhance elementary students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants consisted of two experts (subject and media), one grade IV teacher, and 28 elementary school students in the field trial. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, observation sheets, and critical thinking tests based on Ennis’ indicators. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods by calculating percentages of validity, practicality, and effectiveness with an N-Gain test. The results indicated that the STEM–Tri-N integrated IPAS module obtained an average validation score of 86%, categorized as highly valid. Teacher responses reached 90% and student responses 88%, both categorized as very practical. Effectiveness tests revealed an improvement in students’ critical thinking scores, with the average pretest score of 56.42 increasing to 78.75 in the posttest, and an N-Gain score of 0.61 categorized as medium–high. These findings demonstrate that the developed module is valid, practical, and effective for elementary education. The STEM–Tri-N integrated IPAS module can serve as an innovative teaching material alternative that supports the implementation of the Indonesian Merdeka Curriculum while fostering students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires elementary schools to provide learning experiences that foster critical thinking skills from an early age. However, instructional practices in many elementary classrooms are still dominated by teacher-centered approaches, which limit student engagement and opportunities for higher-order thinking. This study aims to develop and validate a technology-based cooperative learning model that aligns with the characteristics of elementary school students and is oriented toward enhancing critical thinking skills. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, consisting of a preliminary study, model design, expert validation, revision, and a limited field trial involving fifth-grade students. The developed model integrates cooperative learning strategies, specifically Think-Pair-Share and Jigsaw, supported by digital technologies such as Google Classroom, Padlet, and Kahoot, to facilitate collaboration, reflective discussion, and formative assessment. Research instruments included expert validation sheets, observation checklists, and critical thinking skills tests.The validation results indicate that the developed model is highly valid and feasible for implementation. The field trial results demonstrate increased student engagement, improved conceptual understanding, and higher critical thinking scores compared to previous instructional conditions. These findings suggest that the technology-based cooperative learning model has strong potential to support the development of critical thinking skills in elementary education and provides a practical framework for teachers to integrate technology into classroom instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of project-based learning implementation through the Lisadanur program in improving elementary school students' literacy and numeracy skills. The study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive-comparative design on student learning outcomes before and after the program implementation. The subjects were elementary school students involved in contextual project-based learning activities that integrated reading, writing, data processing, and numerical problem solving. Data were collected through literacy and numeracy tests and documentation of learning outcomes, then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to compare changes in score achievement. The results showed a significant increase in both aspects, namely literacy increased from an average score of 55 to 88.89 and numeracy from 35 to 77.78. These findings indicate that project-based learning can increase student engagement, conceptual understanding, and the ability to apply knowledge in real contexts. In addition, collaborative interactions and the role of teachers as facilitators also support the creation of a meaningful learning environment. Thus, the implementation of the project-based learning model in school programs can be a strategic alternative to strengthen literacy and numeracy competencies in elementary education and support the development of sustainable innovative learning practices

Abstract

Elementary Social Studies (IPS) learning still faces challenges, particularly low student engagement and the absence of instructional models that effectively connect concepts to real-life experiences. This situation highlights the need for a more contextual and meaningful learning approach. The Tri-N–based contextual learning model—emphasizing niteni (observing), niroke (imitating), and nambahi (modifying)—is considered to have strong potential to enhance learning interaction; however, its application in elementary Social Studies remains underexplored, creating a research gap in the development of holistic instructional models. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Tri-N–based contextual learning model in improving Social Studies learning outcomes among elementary school students. A quantitative experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design was employed, involving 27 fourth-grade students. Learning outcomes were measured using a validated achievement test, and data were analyzed using a paired t-test to determine significant differences between pretest and posttest scores. The results show an increase in the average score from 61.81 to 85.03 after the implementation of the model, indicating a statistically significant improvement. These findings confirm that the Tri-N–based contextual learning model is effective in enhancing Social Studies learning outcomes and contributes to strengthening contextual instructional practices that integrate niteni, niroke, and nambahi.
