Abstract

Based on the observation do in MTS Laboratorium Kota Jambi, many of the content of physics learning should be taught with practical or use of instructional media done not because many of factors. It is because of practical limitations of the tools or  no advanced media available . It  would not be allowed , its solution must be sought in order to study physics can be do  accordance with the curriculum indicator. This research offers a solution with collaborative learning based on lesson study using model guided inqury. Lesson study do in MTS Laboratorium Kota Jambi increased from 90 % to 100 % in the first cycle and 66.67 % completing  in the second cycle

Abstract

Stripping the betel nut using a machine is considered to be more effective than manually, based on this I designed an automatic betel nut peeler control device using Arduino Mega as a mechanical and electrical system controller. In the design of this tool using a hollow iron frame material with 40X40 mm, with a length of 130 cm and a width of 30 cm. Furthermore, this tool is planned to be able to work with a capacity of 20 Kg/hour. After all components are completed, it will proceed to the tool development process to be able to perform performance tests. After testing, stripping using the manual method takes a relatively longer time, which is 11 minutes. While using the machine only takes 6 minutes. In this test, 1 kg or 74 young betel nut, yellow areca nut, dry areca nut, and wet old areca nut were used.

Abstract

Based on observations in atomic physics and nuclear learning, there are some problems see during two semester of the course such as less using of instructional materials and instructional media in the process of learning. In addition, content of book used are books published in the 1990s years and never have been updated. The quantity of books of atomic physics and nuclear in the library is still very little. Therefore developed electronic modul (E-modul). This research used descriptif research. E-module is made using 3D software pageflip professional. E-Module has been validated by experts for media and content of e-module. The result was perception of students on average 83.5% on core structure module and 89 % on radioactivity module with very good category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pengembangan media e-learning berbasis edmodo dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi gelombang bunyi SMA kelas XII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model 4D. Penelitian ini melalui tahap pendefenisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran, namun peneliti membatasi penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian dalam pengembangan media ini yaitu siswa-siswi kelas XII MIA SMAN 2 Kota Jambi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket validasi media dan materi serta angket persepsi siswa. Teknik analisis data yang berupa saran dari validator dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan skor angket persepsi siswa dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif. Media e-learning berbasis edmodo telah selesai dikembangkan berupa media elektronik. Skor hasil persepsi siswa terhadap media e-learning berbasis edmodo yaitu 45,48 untuk aspek media termasuk kategori amat baik dan 20,02 untuk aspek materi dan termasuk kategori amat baik.Kata kunci: e-learning, gelombang bunyi The purpose of this research was producing and knowing the students perception toward the development of e-learning media based edmodo with scientific approach on  sound wave. This research was research and development with 4D model. This research  use the stage with definition, design, development, and dissemination, but the researcher limit this research only up to development stage. Subject this research were XII IPA SMAN 2 Kota Jambi. An instrument used were survey validations media, survey matter and survey students perceptions. Analysis technique of this research were deskriptive qualitative. While survey  of the students perception conducted was deskriptive statistics. E-learning media based edmodo with scientific approach has been completed as the electronic media. Scores students  perception for e-learning media was 45,58 for the aspect of media was in a very good  category and 20,02 for the material aspect was in a very good category.Keywords: e-learning, sound waves

Abstract

The lesson plan is an important aspect that determines the success of learning in the classroom. Teachers must design learning that can relate the material being studied to the daily lives of students, for example, is through integrated local wisdom into science learning. The study aimed to develop a science learning set of local wisdom based on pressure materials in Junior High Schools. The research was research and development and used a 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate). The subjects were material experts, media experts, and science teachers of junior high school. The instrument was a validation sheet of the learning set. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively, and quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research produces a science learning set of local wisdom-based on pressure materials in junior high schools, consisting of syllabus, lesson plans, assessments, student worksheets, teaching materials, remedial and enrichment programs. The results of expert validation obtained a score of 89.60 with an excellent category. The results of the science teacher assessment were 92.38 with excellent category. In sum, the science learning set of local wisdom based on pressure material in junior high schools was valid and feasible to improve the understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

Radiasi termal dan difraksi laser tak jarang dipandang mahasiswa sebagai materi yang sulit untuk dipahami karena materinya yang bersifat abstrak, sehingga perlu sebuah metode pembelajaran yakni dengan melakukan praktikum agar mahasiswa dapat mempelajari materi secara real. Untuk melakukan praktikum dibutuhkan media pembelajaran berupa video penunjang praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan video penunjang praktikum dan mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap video penunjang praktikum yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model penelitian four-D (4D) yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design) dan tahap pengembangan (development), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Video penunjang praktikum divalidasi oleh dua validator ahli yang merupakan dosen Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jambi, diperoleh hasil validasi dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor untuk validasi media yaitu 92,5% sedangkan untuk validasi materi memperoleh skor 100%. Untuk respon mahasiswa terhadap video penunjang praktikum pada uji coba terbatas berada dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor 82,87%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektivan buku ajar elektronik fisika dasar 1 berbasis pendekatan saintifik menggunakan aplikasi 3D Pageflip Professional pada materi vektor dan kinematika dan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa mengenai buku ajar elektronik fisika dasar 1 berbasis pendekatan saintifik menggunakan aplikasi 3D Pageflip Professional pada materi vektor dan kinematika. Desain pengembangan pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis R&D (Research and Development) dengan tipe pengembangan model ADDIE. Menurut Rusdi (2018), pelaksanaan langkah-langkah pada setiap tahapan ADDIE dipadu dengan metode penelitian yang sesuai dengan jenis tahapan utama, tujuan dan karakteristik setiap tahap tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis lembar observasi awal terhadap 33 mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika kelas Reguler C angkatan 2018 yang telah mengontrak mata kuliah fisika dasar 1, diperoleh data sebesar lebih dari 50% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa mata kuliah fisika dasar 1 memiliki tingkat kesulitan pemahaman yang cukup tinggi. Pada materi vektor dan kinematika memiliki persentase kesulitan sebesar 69,7%. Mahasiswa merasa kesulitan untuk mamahami konsep materi perkuliahan, menjabarkan rumus dan menyelesaikan latihan soal.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce an E-Book based on a scientific approach on the material of Business, Energy, Impulse and Momentum, (2) to find out students' perceptions of E-Book based on a scientific approach on the material of Business, Energy, Impulse and Momentum. This research design uses a 4D research and development design which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data analysis in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative data analysis. From 15 respondents, 66.7% of respondents said that basic physics material is difficult to understand. In the material of Business, Energy, Momentum and Implus, it has a difficulty percentage of 60%. As many as 86.67% of students agree that the scientific approach is suitable for use in the Basic Physics course process

Abstract

Teknologi informasi merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan kualitas pendidikan. Penerapan teknologi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah WCMS (Website Content Management System). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika dasar 1 berbasis pendekatan saintifik menggunakan WCMS, mengetahui kelayakan dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data dianalisis dengan skoring sesuai bobot dan hasilnya akan diklasifikasikan berdasarkan skala likert. Hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 94,09% dengan kategori sangat baik dan validasi media sebesar 94,12% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil persepsi mahasiswa terhadap produk sebesar 85,98% dengan kategori sangat baik, sehingga berdasarkan hasil validasi dan persepsi mahasiswa media pembelajaran fisika dasar 1 berbasis pendekatan saintifik menggunakan WCMS layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The lack of students’ motivation is one of the issues in implementing hybrid learning after the pandemic. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Kahoot! to increase the motivation of students studying on Hybrid learning after the pandemic. The type of research is a pre-experimental study in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi from February to March 2022. The subjects of this study were grade 10th students who were determined by cluster random sampling technique. Research data were collected through questionnaires that were distributed to students. Based on the results of the paired t-test which gets the result of the sig value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Based on the N gain test, the result obtained is 0.36 which is in the medium category. It can be conclude that there is a significant increase in students’ learning motivation after using Kahoot! in the hybrid learning
