Abstract

This study seeks to explore and enhance the integration of technology in deep learning to support the development of collaborative skills among Early Childhood Education (ECED) students. In the digital era, technology integration is an important aspect of learning that encourages active engagement, critical thinking and collaboration from an early age. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using a case study design, which includes observation, detailed interviews, and documentation at two early childhood education institutions that have integrated technology into their learning processes. The results show that the use of interactive technologies such as smart boards, educational apps, and project-based digital media can create a collaborative and participatory learning environment. There was noticeable improvement in children's teamwork, including their ability to share ideas and complete activities collaboratively. However, barriers such as insufficient resources and lack of teacher readiness still persist. Therefore, teacher training and the provision of adequate infrastructure are key in optimizing the application of technology. This study concludes that technology, if used appropriately within the framework of deep learning, has great potential to effectively foster early childhood collaborative skills

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the SARI BUAH (One Day Moving for Great Indonesian Children) program in developing the emotional health of elementary school students. The problem addressed is the suboptimal emotional health of students, which impacts their ability to manage emotions and engage in social interactions. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively describe how the SARI BUAH program is implemented and to analyze its impact on the development of students' emotional health. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as analysis of program-related documents. The research subjects were elementary school students actively participating in the SARI BUAH program at an elementary school in Malang. The results show that the SARI BUAH program is implemented through various structured activities such as self-development workshops, collaborative games, and emotional sharing sessions, all designed to facilitate self-understanding and emotion regulation. This program significantly improved students' emotional health, characterized by enhanced ability to recognize and express emotions, build positive peer relationships, and adaptively overcome challenges. The SARI BUAH program makes a positive contribution to creating a learning environment that supports students' holistic emotional development.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies of parents and teachers in shaping children's character through the “7 Habits of Great Children” program in elementary schools, which is rooted in the concept of Leader in Me by Stephen Covey. This program aims to instill positive habits consistently at home and school, including waking up early, worshiping according to beliefs, regular exercise, consuming nutritious food, studying hard, social interaction, and sleeping early. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Banyuwangi with informants consisting of 5 teachers, 5 parents, and 15 students with various cognitive levels. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the successful implementation of this habit depends on the synergy between teachers and parents. Teachers familiarize the values in the school culture and learning activities while parents reinforce them at home. The main challenges include limited parental involvement and uncontrolled use of gadgets affecting children's sleep patterns. The conclusion of the study confirms that strong collaboration between home and school can shape the character of children who are disciplined, responsible and emotionally stable. This study recommends further studies to develop a contextualized and sustainable implementation model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implications of using nutrition videos in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) subjects on changes in students' cognitive and affective aspects regarding healthy food choices. The background of this study lies in the importance of early nutrition education to encourage healthy and balanced food consumption behaviors. The research subjects were students from SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Wuluhan. Data collection instruments included learning video questionnaires, cognitive assessments, and affective attitude scales towards healthy food. The findings indicate that the use of nutrition videos in PJOK learning positively contributes to students' cognitive and affective changes. Therefore, the use of audiovisual media is recommended as an innovative learning strategy to support nutrition education in schools.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has driven transformation in various aspects of life, including in the field of education and counseling services. Increasingly complex global challenges demand an innovative approach in providing career guidance and social counseling services to students, especially at the Junior High School (SMP) level. One promising innovation is the application of deep learning technology, a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is able to process and analyze large amounts of data to produce personalized recommendations. This study uses a qualitative approach, descriptive research type. The method of collecting information through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include facilitator teachers, junior high school students, and principals. Through deep learning, the career guidance system can adapt to students' needs, potential, and interests more accurately, and detect social problems early on. This study aims to examine the potential for applying deep learning technology to improve the effectiveness of career guidance and social counseling services for junior high school students, as well as the challenges that may be faced in its implementation, especially related to infrastructure policies and education budgets. The constructivist approach is the basis for system design, which emphasizes active interaction between students and the environment as the key to the success of meaningful learning. The results of the study indicate that the integration of deep learning technologies in tutoring services can be an innovative solution to support students' career readiness and social and emotional well-being, although it requires infrastructure readiness, educator training, and educational policy support that supports digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to present a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis on the development of Mindful Learning research within the educational context. Using the PRISMA method and the Scopus database, 44 relevant articles were selected from a total of 1,647 documents for in-depth analysis. The study focuses on three key research questions: the sustainability and relevance of Mindful Learning as a scientific topic (RQ1), the allocation of current research resources including publications, collaborations, and funding (RQ2), and the theoretical and practical implications of recent findings (RQ3). The results indicate that Mindful Learning remains a relevant and evolving area of global research, particularly since 2010. The United States, Taiwan, and China are the leading countries in terms of publications, while social sciences and psychology are the dominant disciplines. Keyword mapping further reveals strong connections between Mindful Learning and related concepts such as empathy, emotional regulation, and psychological well-being. The findings suggest that Mindful Learning holds significant potential to be integrated into broader educational practices. Additionally, the field offers ample opportunities for interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research. This study provides valuable insights for educators, researchers, and policymakers in designing more reflective, adaptive, and student-centered learning approaches that prioritize well-being alongside academic performance.

Abstract

The leadership of the school principal has an important role in improving the quality of education in schools. One aspect that is influenced by the leadership of the school principal is the professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers. Professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers is very important to ensure that these teachers can carry out their duties effectively and professionally. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the principal's form of leadership and the professional accountability of guidance and counseling teachers in creating appropriate performance at the SMAS Muhammadiyah Lempangang school. To achieve this goal, this research uses quantitative research, namely describing the situation in the school environment based on data and figures obtained in the field, while data collection techniques use observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The positive correlation research results show the Sig value. (2-tailed) between Principal Leadership (X) and Guidance and Guidance Teacher Professional Accountability (Y) is 0.000 < 0.005, which means there is a significant correlation between the principal's leadership variable and Guidance and Guidance Teacher professional accountability.

Abstract

The appropriate learning model at the Vocational Education level can have a significant impact on students, particularly in their readiness to face the workforce. This research aims to develop an entrepreneurship-based learning model for normative-adaptive subjects in vocational schools using the Research and Development (R&D) approach of the Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The study was conducted at SMKN 1 Mejayan in April-May 2025 with subjects consisting of 30 students and 1 Cultural Arts teacher from the Agribusiness of Agricultural Product Processing (APHP) major. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed descriptively both quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results show that the developed model syntax has proven to increase student engagement by 83% and entrepreneurial inspiration by 89%. The integration of entrepreneurial content into the learning of Fine Arts (batik) and English (book composition) successfully eroded students' mental blocks against 'difficult' subjects.

Abstract

Kenakalan pelajar merupakan masalah yang terus berkembang dan membutuhkan penanganan efektifdi lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji strategi penanganan kenakalan pelajar di SMKMuhammadiyah 2 Blora melalui integrasi pendekatan preventif dan kuratif berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman.Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melibatkan guru BK, guru agama, wakil kepalasekolah, orang tua, dan siswa sebagai informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasipartisipatif, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa bentuk kenakalan siswa meliputi keterlambatan, membolos, pelanggaran seragam, danperilaku tidak sopan. Strategi preventif yang diterapkan sekolah mencakup pembinaan karakter, kegiatankeagamaan, sosialisasi aturan, serta kerja sama dengan kepolisian dan tokoh agama. Sementara itu,penanganan kuratif dilakukan melalui konseling individual, mediasi, keterlibatan orang tua, dan sanksi edukatifyang berlandaskan pembinaan spiritual. Nilai-nilai keislaman menjadi dasar pembinaan, terlihat dari kegiatanibadah rutin, pendidikan ISMUBA, dan peran aktif guru agama sebagai pembimbing moral siswa. Integrasikedua strategi ini berhasil menurunkan angka pelanggaran dan membentuk karakter siswa secara positif.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan penanganan kenakalan pelajar tidak hanya bergantung padapemberian sanksi, tetapi juga pada pendidikan karakter yang terstruktur dan konsisten. Temuan ini dapatdijadikan model pembinaan bagi sekolah berbasis nilai keagamaan lainnya.

Abstract

General Background: In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing skilled, competitive, and job-ready graduates. Specific Background: However, SMK graduates in Indonesia still face high unemployment rates, indicating a gap between education and labor market demands. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have examined Special Job Exchange (BKK) and Counseling Guidance (BK) separately, but few have explored their integrated contribution to students’ job readiness. Aims: This study aims to investigate the synergy between BKK and BK services in enhancing the job readiness of vocational students. Results: Using a qualitative case study at SMKN 1 Nguling, Pasuruan, the research found that BKK facilitates job matching, soft skills training, and industry collaboration, while BK supports career planning, self-confidence, and mental preparation. Their integration positively affects students’ technical competencies, communication, work ethic, and psychological readiness. Novelty: This research offers new insights into the integrated role of BKK and BK in a semi-rural vocational school context, highlighting unique collaborative models. Implications: The findings provide empirical evidence for policymakers and educators to design school-to-work transition programs that are structurally collaborative and contextually relevant for vocational education enhancement.Highlight : Integration of BKK and BK significantly improves students' job readiness through collaborative programs and career planning. SMKN 1 Nguling shows effective models in job matching, soft skills training, and tracer studies with a 97% graduate absorption rate. The study highlights the importance of aligning student interests with industry demands through structured guidance and counseling.
