Abstract

Higher education is a primary pillar of modern economic development, playing a crucial role in knowledge development, human capital formation, and innovation creation. In a knowledge-based economy, universities function not only as educational institutions but also hold a strategic role in research, technological innovation, and cross-sector collaboration through models such as the Multi-Helix. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and bibliometric analysis using the PRISMA method on 128 Scopus-indexed articles from the 2015–2025 period. The analysis was conducted to map publication trends, geographical distribution, collaboration networks, and key research themes using VOSviewer software. The results indicate that publication trends increased significantly after 2022, reaching a peak in 2024, with dominant contributions from European countries, particularly the United Kingdom, as well as China, Italy, and Spain. Central themes dominating the literature include "economic growth" and "innovation," which are linked through mechanisms of human capital, academic entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and the development of innovation ecosystems. Higher education plays a strategic role in driving innovation and economic growth by strengthening university innovation capacity, fostering cross-actor collaboration, developing entrepreneurial ecosystems, and improving the quality and distribution of human capital. However, these contributions are highly dependent on the regional context, institutional governance, integration with public policy, and the ability to effectively measure and manage the impact of innovation.

Abstract

Global consumption poses significant challenges to sustainable development, making education a vital tool for promoting awareness and responsible green consumption. This study explores environmental literacy as a key link between education and sustainable consumption behavior. Employing a quantitative survey of 400 working-age residents in Surakarta experienced in eco-friendly consumption, the research analyzes how environmental literacy influences green consumption outcomes. Grounded in attitudinal theory, it emphasizes that behavior is shaped by attitudes formed through learning, experience, and social interaction. The results confirm that higher environmental literacy significantly encourages green consumption habits. These findings highlight education’s crucial role in shifting public attitudes and consumption patterns, supporting broader sustainability goals. Moreover, the study suggests important directions for Indonesia’s education system, advocating for the integration of environmental education throughout all academic levels to effectively nurture ecological awareness and responsible consumer behavior.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial interest in vocational high school students is an important factor in preparing independent graduates who are ready to face the competitive world of work. However, various studies have shown that psychological aspects such as emotional intelligence, positive emotions, negative emotions, and self-efficacy are still less comprehensively explored. This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, positive emotions, and negative emotions on entrepreneurial interest with self-efficacy as a mediating variable in grade XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Giritontro. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey technique on 187 respondents, while data analysis was carried out through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4. The results showed that emotional intelligence and positive emotions had a significant positive effect on self-efficacy, while negative emotions had a significant negative effect. Self-efficacy was also shown to have a positive effect on entrepreneurial interest and mediated the relationship between the three predictor variables. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening emotional regulation and self-efficacy in entrepreneurship learning in vocational high schools

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine how grit functions as a mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial knowledge. This research employed a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, resulting in 100 respondents from various undergraduate study programs at Sebelas Maret University. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale with five response options. The statistical analysis tool used to test the mediation effect in this study was IBM SPSS Statistics 27 software. The findings indicate that students’ entrepreneurial intentions can be influenced by entrepreneurial knowledge, with grit acting as a mediating variable. To enhance and develop knowledge that encourages entrepreneurial intentions, higher education institutions or universities should improve the quality of teaching materials and teaching methods, while also focusing on enhancing both academic and psychological skills. In addition, universities should create a supportive environment for young entrepreneurs by emphasizing entrepreneurial values to foster the development of entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial intentions, and grit among students.
