Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by madrasa heads in efforts to improve the quality of education. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of madrasa heads, teachers, and related parties in the madrasa environment. The research results show that madrasa heads implement several key strategies, including developing relevant curricula, increasing teacher competency through training, and strengthening parent and community participation. Apart from that, madrasa heads also use information technology to support the learning process. It is hoped that this research can provide insight for policymakers and educational practitioners in efforts to improve the quality of education in madrasas. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh kepala yayasan dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala yayasan, guru, dan pihak terkait di lingkungan yayasan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala yayasan menerapkan beberapa strategi kunci, antara lain: pengembangan kurikulum yang relevan, peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan, serta penguatan partisipasi orang tua dan masyarakat. Selain itu, kepala yayasan juga memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di yayasan

Abstract

The world of education has entered the digital era marked by the development of information technology that can have a negative and positive impact on students, so the student field must be responsible for managing and producing students who are helpful to themselves and their environment. This research aims to get in-depth information on student management in Islamic educational institutions. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach method. The descriptive method is used because it follows the title and focus of the research, namely case studies. The results of this study show the scope of student management, the figures involved in student management, efforts to realize work programs, and obstacles faced by the Waka Student Affairs. ABSTRAKDunia pendidikan telah memasuki era digital yang ditandai dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif dan positif bagi peserta didik, sehingga bidang kesiswaan harus bertanggung jawab dalam mengelola dan menghasilkan peserta didik yang bermanfaat bagi dirinya dan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mendalam mengenai manajemen kesiswaan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif digunakan karena mengikuti judul dan fokus penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ruang lingkup manajemen kemahasiswaan, tokoh-tokoh yang terlibat dalam manajemen kemahasiswaan, upaya merealisasikan program kerja, dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi Kemahasiswaan Waka.

Abstract

The teaching and educational staff management aims to organize school human resources to work according to their position and competencies to support the learning process. This research aims to provide knowledge regarding the management of teaching and educational staff carried out at Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Junior High School Special Program in detail, discussing planning, procurement, coaching, and development of teaching and academic staff, particular strategies carried out by school principals to improve quality teaching and education staff at Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Junior High School Special Program, termination of employment of teaching and education staff, challenges that occur when managing teaching and education staff, and evaluation of teaching and education staff. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach and literature. The type of research used is in-depth interviews. This research shows that the Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Junior High School Special Program plans its teaching and educational staff every new school year by analyzing teaching staff based on changes in the curriculum and school programs. The contribution of this research is to increase knowledge for readers as well as evaluation material for the management of teaching and educational staff that Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar Junior High School Special Program has carried out. ABSTRAKPengelolaan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan bertujuan untuk menata sumber daya manusia sekolah agar dapat bekerja sesuai dengan jabatan dan kompetensinya guna menunjang proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan tenaga pengajar dan kependidikan yang dilakukan pada Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar secara detail, membahas tentang perencanaan, pengadaan, pembinaan, dan pengembangan tenaga pengajar dan akademik, strategi khusus yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah. untuk meningkatkan kualitas tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan pada Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar, pemutusan hubungan kerja tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, tantangan yang terjadi dalam pengelolaan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, dan evaluasi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan literatur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar merencanakan tenaga pengajar dan kependidikannya setiap tahun ajaran baru dengan menganalisis tenaga pengajar berdasarkan perubahan kurikulum dan program sekolah. Kontribusi penelitian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan bagi pembaca serta sebagai bahan evaluasi pengelolaan tenaga pengajar dan kependidikan yang telah dilaksanakan Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar.

Abstract

Education has become more modern with the development of increasingly widespread technology. The practice can be internalized into the learning and school management system. This research aims to analyze the transformation of education and management through implementing digital school in Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Junior High School Special Program. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a field research method. The data collection methods used are in-depth interviews and observations. The research results show that Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Junior High School Special Program has demonstrated significant steps in creating digital transformation in learning and its management system. The implementation of this technology experienced obstacles in internet network connectivity and the readiness of supporting infrastructure due to the limited budget provided. Internalization of technology in learning improves accessibility and student learning experience. Meanwhile, the management system can be more efficient and effective, making it easier to administer and transparent data management. Parents and teachers are given convenience in monitoring the development of each student. The school continues to strive to ensure the development of students holistically, both in technological skills and the cultivation of moral values. This research makes an essential contribution to understanding the digital transformation process in schools. The implications of this research can be used as a guide and evaluation material to optimize the digitalization process of educational institutions in Indonesia. ABSTRAKPendidikan menjadi semakin modern seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin luas. Praktik tersebut dapat diinternalisasikan ke dalam sistem pembelajaran dan manajemen sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis transformasi pendidikan dan manajemen melalui penerapan sekolah digital di Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Program Khusus SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar telah menunjukkan langkah signifikan dalam menciptakan transformasi digital dalam pembelajaran dan sistem pengelolaannya. Penerapan teknologi ini mengalami kendala pada konektivitas jaringan internet dan kesiapan infrastruktur pendukung karena terbatasnya anggaran yang disediakan. Internalisasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan pengalaman belajar siswa. Sementara itu, sistem pengelolaannya bisa lebih efisien dan efektif, sehingga memudahkan pengadministrasian dan pengelolaan data secara transparan. Orang tua dan guru diberikan kemudahan dalam memantau perkembangan setiap siswa. Sekolah terus berupaya untuk menjamin perkembangan peserta didik secara holistik, baik dalam keterampilan teknologi maupun penanaman nilai-nilai moral. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting untuk memahami proses transformasi digital di sekolah. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pedoman dan bahan evaluasi untuk mengoptimalkan proses digitalisasi lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

The view of conflict as a natural law still attaches to people's minds. Conflict is inevitable, it can arise from trivial things in the name of opinions, poor communication, and intolerant values. Conflicts should be managed so that they bring benefits to the group and organization. This research aims to deepen the understanding of conflict management in Islamic educational institutions by reviewing conflicts that occur in the Faculty of Tarbiyah Sciences (FIT), State Islamic University (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta, and observing the role of leaders in managing conflicts in the Faculty. This study uses field research methods, with a descriptive qualitative approach, using the interview method as a data collection technique, as well as document studies. Data was collected through an interview with Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Tarbiyah Sciences UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta as one of the leaders. The results of the study showed; (1) conflict is an impossible reality to avoid, therefore the attitude that can be taken is to face and find a way to solve it; (2) conflicts that occurred at FIT UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta regarding differences of interest between individuals and groups within the Faculty; (3) to prevent conflicts, campus culture and Educational Operating Standards (SOP) are introduced from the orientation period; (4) the way to deal with conflicts in the Faculty is by uniting and negotiating (compromise), if it is not resolved, then by appealing, namely leaving it to the higher leadership. ABSTRAKPandangan konflik sebagai hukum alam masih melekat di benak masyarakat. Konflik tidak bisa dihindari, bisa muncul dari hal-hal sepele yang mengatasnamakan pendapat, buruknya komunikasi, dan nilai-nilai yang tidak toleran. Konflik harus dikelola sedemikian rupa sehingga membawa manfaat bagi kelompok dan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman manajemen konflik di lembaga pendidikan Islam dengan mengkaji konflik yang terjadi di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah (FIT), Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta, dan mengamati peran pemimpin dalam mengelola konflik di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Fakultas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan metode wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, serta studi dokumen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta selaku salah satu pimpinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) konflik merupakan suatu kenyataan yang mustahil untuk dihindari, oleh karena itu sikap yang dapat diambil adalah menghadapi dan mencari cara untuk menyelesaikannya; (2) konflik yang terjadi di FIT UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta mengenai perbedaan kepentingan antar individu dan kelompok di lingkungan Fakultas; (3) untuk mencegah konflik, budaya kampus dan Standar Operasional Pendidikan (SOP) diperkenalkan sejak masa orientasi; (4) Cara mengatasi konflik di Fakultas adalah dengan bersatu dan berunding (kompromi), jika tidak terselesaikan maka dengan cara banding yaitu menyerahkan kepada pimpinan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This research is located in SMA Islam Panglima Besar Soedirman 1 Bekasi. This research aims to perceive and obtain empirical data related to marketing strategy in educational service and market positioning. This research is conducted since March 2017 until July 2017. The approach that used in this research is qualitiatve with descriptive method. Data collection is done through interview, observation, and documentation study. The sources of research data came from key informants namely the headmaster of Islamic Senior High School Panglima Soedirman 1 Bekasi, as well as several supporting informants namely Vice Principal of Student Affairs, Vice Principal of Curriculum and Vice Principal Division of Public Relations and Infrastructure. The results of this study indicate that: (1) market segmentation analysis conducted by SMA Islam Panglima Besar Soedirman 1 Bekasi includes demographic segmentation including segment of education level, economic level, religion and geographical segmentation covering residence segment, (2) SMA Islam Panglima Besar Soedirman 1 Bekasi determines the target market by evaluating the attractive segment, (3) SMA Islam Panglima Besar Soedirman 1 Bekasi determines the market position by showing the superiority and characteristic owned such as school achievement, complete facilities, curriculum with additional religious education Islam, and the quality of schools that have received "A" accreditation and ISO 9001: 2015 certificates, and submitted them to specified target markets. Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers’ perceptions of professional learning community. The study was conducted from July 2017 – October 2017 in six state senior high schools in Central Jakarta. The method employed in this study was descriptive quantitative. The samples of this research were 108 teachers in Central Jakarta was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by using Professional Learning Communities Assessment – Revised developed by Olivier, D.F., & Hipp, K.K. (2010) that has been translated into Bahasa Indonesia. The research found that there were 60 teachers (54%) have high perceptions on school as professional learning community, while 48 teachers (44%) have low perceptions. Subsequently, based on the analysis of each dimension, all the dimensions of the professional learning community variables were perceived low by the teacher. Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of empowerment toward procedural justice of SDN regrouping teacher in South Jakarta. This research use quantitative approach with survey methods. The sample of this research is 200 Civil Servant teachers (PNS) of regrouping Elementary Public-School teachers which is appointed randomly from 59 Elementary Public-School in South Jakarta. Data collection was carried out by using instruments in form of questionnaires to measure four research variables. The result of this study indicate that empowerment has a direct positive effect toward procedural justice.

Abstract

Various economic surveys from international financial institutions say, starting the year 2023 and year beyond, many countries are threatened by recession (economic slowdown), including Indonesia. Therefore, people must prepare the best possible attitudes and solutions in facing a recession, of course, in a way that is in accordance with Islamic teachings. In Islamic Dates, attitudes and solutions to face recession are always associated with the story of Nabi Yusuf (as), which is immortalized in Al-Qur’an Sura Yusuf. So that the purpose of this research is none other than to find the best relevant attitudes and solutions in facing the Recession through the content of Al-Qur’an Sura Yusuf uses the perspective of Fazlur Rahman's Double  Movement Theory. The results : (1) A state official, should have the characteristics of Prophet Yusuf (as), namely, Makin (Have a good track record), Amin (Honest), Hafidz (Have Skills), and 'Aliim (Knowledgeable). 2). There are five attitudes that must be taken by society, by Individuals, by governments in the face of Recession. 3). The various economic policies of Prophet Yusuf  are relevant for countries around the world in the face of economic recession. This research provides readers with recommendations on the insights of communities or individuals responding to economic recessions and developing strategies to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of school principals in improving technology-based learning. The research method uses qualitative descriptive, with the subject of the principal, data collection is carried out by observation and interviews and documentation. Data analysis using an interactive model from Milles and Hubbermant. The results of the study show that: (1) The leadership of the principal has a very significant influence on the performance of teachers and students, especially in the context of the application of technology in schools. (2) The challenge faced is that the provision of infrastructure and resources is still a major obstacle in the implementation of technology (3) Therefore, although the leadership of school principals is crucial, support from the government and the private sector in the provision of adequate infrastructure is urgently needed. In conclusion, principals must continue to strengthen their role as agents of change by encouraging innovation and technology development in schools, while collaborating with others to overcome existing barriers. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini mengkaji peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subyek kepala sekolah, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan obervasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan model interaktif dari Milles and Hubbermant. Hasil penelitian menunjuuukan bahwa : (1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dan siswa, terutama dalam konteks penerapan teknologi di sekolah. (2) Tantangan yang dihadapi adalah menyediaan infrastruktur dan sumber daya masih menjadi hambatan besar dalam implementasi teknologi (3) Oleh karena itu, meskipun kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sangat krusial, dukungan dari pemerintah dan sektor swasta dalam penyediaan infrastruktur yang memadai sangat dibutuhkan. Kesimpulannya, kepala sekolah harus terus memperkuat peran mereka sebagai agen perubahan dengan mendorong inovasi dan pengembangan teknologi di sekolah, sambil berkolaborasi dengan pihak lain untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada.
