Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Team Game Tournament (TGT) pada pembelajaran menulis teks berita oleh siswa kelas VII A Mts Raudhatul Muhajirin. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A MTs Raudhatul Muhajirin yang berjumlah 27 orang, sedangkan guru bahasa Indonesia menjadi sumber data pendukung. Data dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Terdapat lima langkah penerapan model pembelajaran TGT yaitu 1) menyampaikan informasi, 2) pembentukan tim, 3) permainan, 4) turnamen, dan 5). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan oleh rata-rata nilai kelas VII A yang mencapai kategori baik. Dari total 27 peserta didik, sebagian besar memperoleh kategori sangat baik, yaitu sebanyak 14 orang, dan 10 orang berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan 3 orang berada pada kategori cukup. Tidak terdapat peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai di bawah 65. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta didik telah mampu menulis teks berita sesuai dengan isi dan tema yang ditentukan, melengkapi unsur-unsur berita, menyusun struktur teks secara sistematis, serta menerapkan kaidah kebahasaan dengan tepat. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita peserta didik. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran tipe TGT, Keterampilan menulis, Teks berita Implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in News Writing Learning at MTs Raudhatul Muhajirin Abstract The decline in quality of life among older adults is often associated with joint pain, low physical activity, and poor sleep quality. In Pagesangan Public Health Center, musculoskeletal disorders are among the ten most common diseases in the elderly, indicating the urgency of this study. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between joint pain intensity, physical activity, and sleep quality with the quality of life of older adults. A quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 110 elderly respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire to measure quality of life, the Physical Activities Scale for the Elderly (PASE) for physical activity, the Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) for sleep quality, and the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for joint pain intensity. All instruments were tested and declared valid and reliable. Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test with SPSS software. The results showed that most respondents experienced moderate joint pain (46.4%), poor physical activity (58.2%), poor sleep quality (36.4%), and poor quality of life (39.1%). Statistical analysis indicated significant relationships between joint pain intensity, physical activity, and sleep quality with the quality of life of older adults (p < 0.05). In conclusion, managing joint pain, improving physical activity, and enhancing sleep quality are important factors in improving the quality of life of the elderly. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in improving the argumentative writing skills of Phase F A2 students at SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. The study was motivated by students’ low ability to formulate thesis statements, construct logical arguments, and apply appropriate linguistic features. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a mixed-method approach conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 35 students, and data were collected through observation, writing tests, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that classical learning mastery in Cycle I reached 45.7% and increased to 97,1% in Cycle II after instructional improvements were implemented through intensive guidance and the use of student worksheets (LKPD). In addition, students’ participation and self-confidence in the learning process also improved. These findings indicate that the Jigsaw model is effective in enhancing argumentative writing skills while promoting collaborative and student-centered learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa Fase D SMP Nurul Khoir Jambi, khususnya dalam menemukan ide, menyusun alur, dan mengembangkan tokoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa melalui penggunaan media audio-visual. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, melibatkan 27 siswa dan guru Bahasa Indonesia sebagai informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 87. Siswa mampu mengembangkan unsur cerpen dengan baik setelah menggunakan media audio-visual. Dengan demikian, media audio-visual terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman dan kreativitas siswa dalam menulis cerpen. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan menulis cerpen, Media audio-visual, Siswa Fase D SMP
