Abstract

Floor support structure is a structural member of aircraft fuselage that have a function to support passenger and other payload loads inside the cabin. One type of load cases that should able to be carried on by floor support structures without permanent deformation is the emergency landing loads. This study aims to evaluate the strength of floor support structure of regional transport aircraft that consist of floor beams, seat tracks, and stanchions due to emergency landing loads. The study is carried on using Finite Element Method in MSC Patran/Nastran software. The structures are modeled using 1D element and the load is modeled as inertial loads given to the lumped mass of passenger and seat. The margin of safety is then calculated to evaluate the yielding of the structure material. The results show that in all cases the margin of safety is larger than zero which means that the structure is sill in elastic zone and there is no permanent deformation due to emergency landing load cases.

Abstract

Abstract Interdisciplinary approaches to understanding the factors that influence basketball dribble learning are also relevant. Psychological factors such as motivation, perception of self-esteem, and coping strategies in the face of failure can also influence player learning outcomes. Thus, this research not only explores the technical aspects of learning, but also expands our view of the psychological dynamics involved in the learning process of sports skills. Basketball Dribble is one of the demands in the learning process of PJOK in High School. In the process of learning of course each student has different skills – different. In this case, PJOK teachers are charged with using learning strategies that make it possible to match students. This research is a 2×2 factorial design experiment because it consists of two factors and each factor has two levels. The aim of this study was to determine whether the two learning strategies, the Inkuiri Learning Strategy (SPI) and the Problem-Based Learning Strategies (SPBM), had a greater influence on Dtibble basketball learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract

Drones are one of the latest technologies that are developing rapidly to provide positive benefits in society. Drone development can be done in various ways, including by improving the performance of the drone frame. Drone frames can be made of various types of materials, one of which is composite material that has mechanical properties that can be adjusted to needs. In this study, coconut fiber was chosen as the composite material because of its abundant availability, light weight, and environmentally friendly. Coconut fiber composites are made to be one of the alternatives for drone frames. To overcome its low strength, coconut fiber is used together with fiberglass to become a hybrid composite. Tensile tests, bending tests, and impact tests were carried out to determine the mechanical characteristics of the hybrid composite. The test results are then used as the basis for determining the drone design. Two types of tensile test specimens were made using the hand lay-up method where the type of fiber was varied to see the effect of variations in fiber types on the strength of the composite. The first type is a composite with fiber in the form of coconut fiber mats and fiberglass mats, and the second type is a composite with fiber in the form of coconut fiber mats and WR (Woven Roving) fiberglass. The tensile test results show that the second type of composite is more recommended because of its higher strength and more consistent results. The test results show that the second type of composite has a tensile strength of 32.7 MPa, a flexural strength of 82.4 MPa, and is able to absorb impact energy of 2.34 Joules. And finally, in this research, the hybrid composite was made into a drone frame and then integrated with electrical components so that the drone can fly
